Looks to be a very nice addition to Kings Dominion with some nice elements; that first overbank/tilted top hat looks brilliant! The park's definitely gonna crawl higher up my bucketlist when this opens.
Wish had a some near Miss elements. It looks like it has zero wing foot going coaster are know for the near miss elements I think they missed big-time not adding some near miss.
This comment section just tells me thoosies are never happy, I stg 💀 This looks like a ton of fun, and I personally can't wait to get back to KD and ride it along with the other awesome coasters there. Hopefully we get an opening date soon, unless they already released one and I'm just blind lol
@@neonthefox3550 I rode most B&M wing coasters for the exception of Eagle at Dollywood. They are mediocre attractions. I consider them to be just larger family coasters.
@@JoeyH-sb3fq I get it, we all want Volcano back. I do too, even though I’ve never ridden it. We don’t know how good this coaster will be, especially when in comparison to Volcano, but this isn’t a bad replacement. Of course it’s not the perfect replacement, since that would be completely bringing back volcano in the exact same state or upgraded. We’ll just have to wait and see how Rapterra turns out. You never know how good or bad of a ride can be until it’s complete. And who knows, maybe someday Volcano will return whether that’s at Kings Dominion or another park
Exactly. 80% of this ride looks like it just coasts through the elements. The only part that looks like it will be forceful is the first launch into the first hill. That's about it...
A bit sad that it only has 3 inversions, like Twisted Timbers does. Would be amazing if the first element after the launch were a cutback, but that turn will be awesome in the outer right row. Great to see expanded investment in theming, and Rapterra should be a reliable crowd pleaser without the downtime of Volcano
Hard to say, Gatekeepers has next to nothing as does Valravns, but this ride doesn't have a mid course before that would slow it so it might hold good speed for the hills
I’m a little let down by the ride layout, I think Pantheon is more exciting. But man that render is insane. They even went as far as modeling the other rides in the park.
@@moekitsune Ehh, to me it is close enough. Both are launch coasters, both in VA parks, both have corkscrew inversions and similar looking arch style hills. I'm not an expert by any means but that's what I'm comparing it to. Considering this is supposed to replace Volcano I think it should be a bit more exciting. But still looks cool.
@@Adrians_films Maybe someday when I have the spare $. Been two years since I made it out to either of those parks. But I do agree with some of the other commenters who say Rapterra doesn’t need to be very intense since they already have Project 305.
Lol this layout looks about as good as this release teaser does. Awful. On top of that boring layout, no near miss and a bunch of airtime hills (hint B&M wing coasters have ZERO airtime- even the GOOD ones). Hope I'm wrong but this looks HIGHLY disappointing. New POV of Cheetah Hunt looks Amazing
The layout looks like Fury’s Layout but with Inversions and for a Wing Coaster. Looks great 😂

Looks pretty good, love the look of that Outer-bank hill after the helix

That's very much true.
Nice fit for KD. I’ll be there next season. Glad another launched B&M 😊
Looks really fun actually

I really hope they decide to implement some near miss elements. That's basically half the wing coaster's gimmick.
Not going to happen. Kings Dominion was just desperate to throw this out so they could appease the public.

Looks fun! Still not sure why B and M make their wing coasters with airtime hills 🤔.
