    Love the price breakdown. Been wanting to start rebuilding bikes and flipping them for a while now, and these definitely help. Bouta start my first one on my ‘08 cbr600rr 🤙

    Even if you had to buy the fairings on your own, that’s a spanking good deal. I rarely see R1’s in my area for under 10k unless they’re old.
    The price breakdown is great. The one thing I would add is to factor in the cost of tools and specialty tools. When you’re starting out, you will run into that!
    Once again, great job on the bike

      Thanks Nick! Its hard to factor in the cost of tools because I have been acquiring them over the last few years, so there aren't many new tools I need to buy.

    Wow. Bin etwas faul und schreibe mal in deutsch. Translation funktioniert ja.
    Greetings from Berlin 🇩🇪 but now from Cocoa Beach, Florida. 🌞

    Hello Rob, I really like the bike, like the color of the fairings but not a fan of the wheel color. I have always liked the Yamaha bikes. But what I appreciate most is your attitude and the videos that you put out there! Keep up the good work! 👍

    I think it was well worth doing at those costs, shocked at the seat bracket price though lol. If the mileage is genuine, it's got to boost the price quite a bit, but those wheels reduce it a little, well the colour of them does imo, I'd be tempted to paint them or get them powder coated blue or satin black.

    New sub & I think it's cool what you guys are doing with these rebuilds. Giving insight to salvage, disassemble & reassemble with price break down. Plus you'll make some, if not more on resale of the bikes & clientele that would come to you for shop work, due to your knowledge in repair. Gives me inspiration to rebuild my 07 R6. I dream of her being back to brand new condition when I got her in 07. Dont stop with all the editing & filming to make this channel happen✌🏽

    Great video. Are you able to pick up an older bike like a Yamaha Thunderace 97-99 model?
    I would love to see a rebuild on one of these classic bikes.

    Notwithstanding the fact that you're based in a decently equipped workshop space, everything you listed is perfectly do-able by most competent and well motivated wrenchers and the finished build/cost represents absolutely fantastic value in terms of on-the-road grin-induction which after all, is the whole purpose of a bike like an R1.

  • @laz1go286
    @laz1go286 Рік тому +3

    love the transparency Rob. The total price is still reasonable considering the low mileage. This bike is practically brand new with 2K miles. I guess the only thing You'd need to prove to a potential buyer is, if the mileage is true and original. Unless you have a service history book with all the Yamaha paperwork, oli changes, etc, from 0 miles, this will be difficult.
    And I guess the previous owner did have an insurance claim on the R1 which means Salvage title, which further reduces its value.
    But great content anyway.
    Looking forward to ZX-6R build that is in the background.. Hopfully You will film that too..

    That's still a good price for a low mile R1. Depends on cost of Labor/hr to complete the work done on top for whether you make a profit. Cool you have sponsors helping with parts now. Well done on the build. Looks awesome.

    Hi I don't know how much bike's in the US sell for as I'm in the UK but that sounds like a fair price. It's good to see how much the parts cost and what the final total is. as we never get to find out from other channels. Keep up the good work. Ps I wonder how much it would have cost if a customer was paying for the work?

  • @Tijn1972
    @Tijn1972 Рік тому

    Money spent, with the fairing included, is well worth it for this bike. Not sure what the market is over in the US but they're still asking nearly twice that for similar R1's over here.
