We need to really study and understand the scriptures before we just spew things and even scriptures out, without an understanding. This scripture 1 Timothy 2:10-13, Men always quote it, but I wonder if any man or woman study why Timothy said so? Does not mean that God cannot or does not call a woman into the ministry. When I studied it, it was said at a time when the women in the church were coming to church and gossiping, talking, questioning things that were going on, during service or the ministering and it was a distraction, so this is what Timothy said. If God can have a women judge over Israel, if you read in the book of Judges around the 4 and 5 chapters, Deborah was a judge over Israel for a while. If you come further into the new testament, Priscilla, Aquila and many more women were being used under and in Paul's ministry, so I believe God does call women into the ministry. The gospel most be preached to all the world for a witness, I believe God can use anyone he chooses to carry the Gospel.
haddie coll If you want to get technical, women were the first preachers. When Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and Jesus revealed himself, He told the to go and tell them I Am Risen!!! That is the Gospel. His death, burial and ressurrection. If you Believe that He died and Rose Again. You are SAVED!!! He told the Disciples Go And Tell the good news!!! That is the Gospel.... He Is Risen but woman told it first
+What is Truth isn't it interesting that God chose a Woman to carry the Word who became flesh and dwell among us, that he minister to the woman at the well and she went to "tell everyone about Jesus"
God allows and uses men and women to spread the good news. I became a member of the Center of Hope and I can tell you dr. Ernestine Cleveland Reems is truly a woman of God who is very anointed woman of God.
