iReece4498 basically he ruined Standard, Sint-Truiden, Charlton and i think Carl Zeiss Jena in Germany. This guy is a business man and not a football fan, he just lives of the money his clubs get
He ruined the club, 101 points to win league one, we were on the way up but then dutchalet managed to piss off chris Powell and that's when it started going to shit
Margarita Louis-Dreyfus worked hard for sinking Olympique de Marseille. She inherited the club after her husband died and never had anything else in mind but to make as much money as she could before selling. So she sold most of the players, bought nobody (or a couple of very sub par players), put a very bad assistant manager as head manager and sold the club right after the summer transfer window. Now the new coach and new owners are looking at the huge amount of work they have to make the club good again.
To be honest, Zamparini spent a lot of money and made Palermo a Serie A team (as he did for Venezia). His staff discovered great players as Miccoli, Toni, Cavani, Pastore, Vasquez, Dybala... Before him they were nothing, he didn't ruin at all the football club.
How is Igor Kolomoyskiy not on this list? He is the owner of Dnipro. 2 years ago Dnipro played in the Europa League final, just barely loosing to Sevilla, now the club is filled with academy players that remained at the club (the better ones left) which along with the staff don't get paid. Also the club is being sued by Nikola Kalinic, Myron Markevych, Artem Fedetskiy, and Juande Ramos + his staff, and those are just the people who believe that justice might prevail, most others gave up.
How is Vincent Tan (Cardiff) not on this list? Totally ruined our fan base by changing colours and badge. Trying to get rid of our Bluebirds identity making and trying to make us the dragons, not allowing bluebirds to be said over the tannoy. He tried to take over the changing room thinking he was a top coach. The guys a joke. Just google some of the things he's told our players/manager. Atmosphere has died in the stadium. But tbf he's been better and put money into our club.
Jimbo Porto's president is the most titled president in history so he should make number 1 :p but yes, Southampton seems like a very well run club, producing talents every season. Their president is Ralph Krueger, a canadian former coach of ice hockey.
Pinto da Costa is ruining the club over the last 3 years since he brought his son into the board. 3 years without any domestic title, +50M euros in loss, some strange signings, lots of cash spent in comissions, long time board members resigning and lots of mistakes on the managerial choices made.
Coventry City should be on this list. Tim Fisher and Joy Suprano don't know how to run a football club. Taking all the players sales and pocketing them for themselves.
how are Portsmouth not mentioned on the list. 2008- Fa Cup winners and then by 2010- 2 different owners, 20 points deducted for going into administration. Especially since its a club with such a large fan base, now in League 2 they have 16,000 fans turn up to each home game. They got shafted by corrupt owners who didn't have the passion to own a club like Pompey.
Massimo isn't that bad to be honest yes he goes through managers because he's not that good at signing them but he's invested a lot for players and now with Monk we're doing alright. He's not our worst owner by a long shot
When he bought Leeds wasn't they like 30-50m in debt? and didn't massimo pay of there debt out of his own pocket sure I remember someone telling me that if so then then that's cool I keep my eye on Leeds as I've always had a soft spot for them and he isn't as bad as fucking Ken bates at least massimo is passionate about the club
Leeds United look very good in the Championship for the first time in years. They could get promoted to the Premier League next season if they keep up this surprising good form of theirs.
Vincent Tan for Cardiff City. Changing our home kit colour from blue to red and changing our badge. This meant our traditional bluebird was almost forgotten. Not to mention him sacking the manager who got us to a cup final and promotion to the premier league in just 2 years!!
David Murray-Rangers He spent a load of money we didn't have on massive players who were on massive wages. Then he sold the club to Craig Whyte who put the final nail in the coffin
Nice that you talked about Chagaev, because he really did fuck up Xamax and it was a really big deal here in Switzerland. Surprised that you brought it up :)
Ken Richardson - Doncaster Rovers. Tried to sell the stadium in a national newspaper without council permission in 1995. Then paid a former SAS soldier £10,000 to set it on fire in order to try and claim on insurance, costing the club £100,000 in damages. He appointed a manager whose previous job was a lottery salesman at Stockport, relegating the club out of the football league with 34 defeats out of 46 games and a goal difference of -93.
Surprised Ken Bates wasn't on there! From 2005 to 2013 he really fucked over the club selling Leeds' best players, laundered money to Chelsea and was more focused on private boxes at the football ground. I would certainly say that he was way worse than Cellino!
The Oyston's are not new owners- they have owned Blackpool since the 1980's including during the Premier League season. The main reason us fans are so angry is because the club received £90 million in parachute payments which was not reinvested into the club but pocketed by the Oystons whilst the club has suffered three relegations. The Oystons then sued fans off the back of protests whist simultaneously mocking them.
If this list was ever updated, Ken Anderson for sure has to be in it. He's been bankrupted and banned from directing companies for 8 years, could potentially bankrupt Bolton since he hasn't been paying the bills and wages to staff and players.
we had two different owners who nearly killed us (Luton) in the space of a few years John Gurney and then Bill Tomlin It ended up with us falling from the Championship to non league having a 30 point deduction and staying out of the football league for 5 years
Americans make lousy football owners as well. See: Kroenke (the primary reason Arsenal are struggling, he's especially terrible in the States, even lying an NFL team to LA), Lerner (got Villa relegated; Browns were shite under his ownership), Khan (got Fulham relegated from EPL his first year as their owner; Jags are also shite).
Carlson Yeung? Gave Birmingham no money at all for about 6 years, promising 80mill a year to spend on transfers and then took the club from 8 or 9th in the prem to relegation the next year and then got got put on house arrest for money laundering and wouldn't sell the club until this year
VINCENT TAN??? Much worse than the Hull owners. Changed our colour and badge, sacked Malky Mackay, said our goalkeeper wasn't scoring enough goals and replaced a board member with his son's friend who helped paint the stadium. Enough?
I was expecting to see Vardinogiannis. He got Panathinaikos, a champions league team that could go even to the semis, he left him and now he can't go better than the Europa league group stages
What about Peter Ridsdale? He tried to buy success for Leeds United, borrowing in the hope that Leeds can keep getting into the Champions Leagues. Leeds having recovered from the mess he left. He then continued his run of financial mismanagement by nearly getting Barnsley liquidated and Cardiff had to fight off four wind-up orders, leaving the club £66 million in debt.
Hey, if you own a English Premier team, can you also own a team in La Liga or in Germany? I always wondered if you can own multiple professional soccer teams in Europe as long as they don’t play in the same league.
Vhere is Vladimir Romanov? He fucked up Hearts, and actually managed to dissolve multiple times Lithuanian champions FBK Kaunas(which later was reanimated by fans) and also Belarusian highest league club MTZ-RIPO(Partizan Minsk), while also nearly ending one of elite Europe basketball clubs (Žalgiris Kaunas)
Regarding #6, there is some light at the end of the tunnel for Leeds fans as Cellino has sold 50% of the club's shares to Italian sports agency chief Andrea Radrizzani with an agreement in place that he buys the remaining 50% in the summer.
greece has a tradition of bad owners, yet, there are some who exceeded expectations in the likes of: 1. Makis Psomiadis: He owned AEK Athens, after their most succesfull years in the 90s' and left them at the edge of bankrupcy (the major greek team would eventually bankrupt and relagate to the 3rd tier some years later) only to take on AO Kavala, to take them from semi-amateur leagues to competing for european spots in the greek superleague. Eventually, after the "koriopolis" scandal about fixed matches (+drugs that he sold to his son-in-law, Bourousis -olympiacos BC at that time) AO Kavala would disband and start from 4th tier again! 2. Alexandros Kougias: I can't even remember all the teams he owned from time to time, leaving them all relagated and/or in the edge of bankrupcy... From the likes of PAS Giannina to more recently Panachaiki (which he took from it's home city Patras to Korinthos, only to be closer to Athens) and AE Larisa. The former greek champions where struggling between 2nd and 3rd tier for a few years, but with Kougias on the wheel, Larisa came back to the Superleague. He fired Sakis Tsiolis, the coach that brought the team up from the 2nd division in a bad manner and replaced him with a coach that "may be the best coach in Greece", only to fire him, bringin' back Tsiolis, after a few months, after wins over teams like champion Olympiacos etc. Also, just like Chagaev, he fired the teams first choice goalkeeper, after a mistake that brought a 2-2 draw against Iraklis Thessaloniki, stating "you can't make a mistake like that, he must have been paid to fix the game" 3. PEK: A group of investors, leaded by Andreas Vgenopoulos & N. Pateras who where fans of Panathinaikos, bought most of the club's shares and went on through to make some great signings, in the likes of Gilberto Silva, Djibril Cisse and others... Despite the millions in transfers, the team managed only on league title in 4 years and two top16 rounds in Champions League & Europa League espectively in the first two seasons... after that, it was revealed that the "millioners" never invested moey of their own, but instead borowed money, leaving behind a huge debt, the team hasn't repaid till today. This made one of the most historic teams of Greece to never have won a league again and struggling for european spots 4. Spyros Papathanasakis: That was a tough one, because i thought it should be one of Antonis Remos and Spyros Papathanasakis, the two main "destructors" of Iraklis Thessaloniki. The choice of P. is mainly because he is still on the wheel of the team and even though he is responsible for bringing the team back to teh superleague, he might become the reason that Iraklis will drop down again (they are the favourites to relagate this season to 2nd tier... if everything works out well and the club doesn't bankrupt for the 2nd time in 5 years). When he bought the team, noone had any idea what his profession was and how he became rich. Even though the fans of the team where sceptical, they were happy for their team playing competive footbal, back in the superleague. But it all came to an end last summer, after it was revealed that, even though P. was talking about great signings of new players, the truth was the team couldn't even get a license to play next season. The fans rioted, expecting him to resign and sell the team. He promised he would, but, he in the helm of this sinking ship till today... and even though the team received a license thanks to the sale of the teams great star, Apostolos Vellios to Nottingham, which brought enough money to get going, the team doesn't seem like getting sold, because every investor that look at the economic figures of the team, can't find where the incomes' money go to (maybe P. 's account, i don't know) Ok, i never planned to make that huge a comment.... sorry....
Psomiadis and Kougias started their "career" in teams' destruction in the late 90s and PEK involved with Panathinaikos a while efore the economic crisis... Last but not least, Papathanasakis is a Canadian businessman whose whatever they are) businesses take place in Canada!
What about Peter Winkleman? I'm no Dons fan- but to relocate a team 50 miles north to enable survival of a business effectively killed a club. That being said, MK Dons are now my local team (facepalm)
Over the last few years I've put up with A LOT of shit as a Villa fan,and I've calmly dealt with it.But to not see Randy Lerner on this list was the straw that broke the camels back.
Italian football is a mess right now. ( except for Juventus, and all those big ones) Racism, owners not caring, and less motivation for players. The result: Italy failed to qualify for 2018 world cup.
Randy Lerner destroyed Aston Villa. But Football Daily won't mention that because they only talk about London and Manchester or the have a problem with Birmingham clubs
is it me or most of these failures basically all Italian clubs
It was also an Italian that fucked Fifa. Hardly suprising.
Who? Blatter is Swiss
Fifa Man 1917 no where near as bad as what platter has done
Charlton Athletic should be on the list. There owners are truly awful.
Dan Bull How could the FA allow a man who was in the middle of getting forced out of Standard Liege, take over Charlton? Feel sorry for their fans
iReece4498 because the FA are mostly business men and people who don't know shit about Football.
iReece4498 basically he ruined Standard, Sint-Truiden, Charlton and i think Carl Zeiss Jena in Germany. This guy is a business man and not a football fan, he just lives of the money his clubs get
Dan Bull definitely
He ruined the club, 101 points to win league one, we were on the way up but then dutchalet managed to piss off chris Powell and that's when it started going to shit

Now the new coach and new owners are looking at the huge amount of work they have to make the club good again.
"Manchester Hunter" killed me
eh...no
United vs Hunters: the Manchester derby! :-):-)
Shouldn't it be hunters. Since there are more than one player on the team

George Gillet and Tom Hicks.
more like Tom Dicks,up-top
How is Igor Kolomoyskiy not on this list? He is the owner of Dnipro. 2 years ago Dnipro played in the Europa League final, just barely loosing to Sevilla, now the club is filled with academy players that remained at the club (the better ones left) which along with the staff don't get paid. there is a mistake on the first picture. zamparini's Venezia Calcio didn't have white-red stripes, that's Vicenza Calcio
Wait for Part II my friend.
Why is everyone Italian😂😂😂
am not
Do a video of the best football owners +Euro Football Daily . Some of them deserve recognition as well.
Jorge Costa Whoever owns Southampton would have to make the list. They're such a well run club.
Jimbo Porto's president is the most titled president in history so he should make number 1 :p but yes, Southampton seems like a very well run club, producing talents every season. Their president is Ralph Krueger, a canadian former coach of ice hockey.
Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, that's the name that all football (soccer) fans mut know.
Accelerator PT PINTO DA COSTA ALLEZ!!PINTO DA COSTA ALLEZ!
Pinto da Costa is ruining the club over the last 3 years since he brought his son into the board. 3 years without any domestic title, +50M euros in loss, some strange signings, lots of cash spent in comissions, long time board members resigning and lots of mistakes on the managerial choices made.
If the Blacpools owners aren't number 1 i will jump out the window
Where is Roland Duchatelet ????
Hull City Tigers would be a great name for a club.
Yura Yedynak Sounds Like A United States Bowling Team
Yura Yedynak I agree I don't no why are complaining about
Craig McFarlane Because for many fans in this country football is about tradition, not consumerism and marketability.
Yura Yedynak why would you change a good name to the worst name I have ever heard of ? Allan out !
Justsomeguy fuck off CITY TILL WE DIE!
Massimo isn't that bad to be honest yes he goes through managers because he's not that good at signing them but he's invested a lot for players and now with Monk we're doing alright. He's not our worst owner by a long shot
LUFC Holmesy was shocking last two seasons but he's become a better owner this year
Melvz yeah I think he's less hands on now plus if he gives the manager the funds it's not his fault when we bring in shit
Leeds United had a financial crisis at the begining of this century as they failed to qualify champions league for two seasons in a row
Leeds United look very good in the Championship for the first time in years. They could get promoted to the Premier League next season if they keep up this surprising good form of theirs.
Gillette and Hicks should be in there.
Kjell Inge Røkke and Bjørn Rune Gjelsten, they literary destroyed Wimbledon or what is now known as MK Dons.
I was only bothered about Blackpool in this list
90% of this list is all Italians ballsing up half decent clubs.
Vincent Tan for Cardiff City. Changing our home kit colour from blue to red and changing our badge. This meant our traditional bluebird was almost forgotten. Not to mention him sacking the manager who got us to a cup final and promotion to the premier league in just 2 years!!
David Murray-Rangers
He spent a load of money we didn't have on massive players who were on massive wages. Then he sold the club to Craig Whyte who put the final nail in the coffin
Most of them are Italian. I'm Italian this makes me unhappy
Dezeáy L. Same I'm Italian
Tell your people to go to business school then.
The Glazers?
You guys are so informational. Keep up the good work
You are very welcome my friend.
[Chris]
Duchatelet should've made the list.
Hey can you place Blackpool + Newcastle in here while leaving out Coventry City and Portsmouth? Bad list.
Is it? Or will there be a part 2? Jumping the gun Shoostep.
Euro Football Daily where's Randy Lerner??
Euro Football Daily so you will have fulham owner there?
Fulham? Is that a joke?
The Oyston's are not new owners- they have owned Blackpool since the 1980's including during the Premier League season. The main reason us fans are so angry is because the club received £90 million in parachute payments which was not reinvested into the club but pocketed by the Oystons whilst the club has suffered three relegations. The Oystons then sued fans off the back of protests whist simultaneously mocking them.
I hope they die in a fire.
Keep it up Euro football daily
If this list was ever updated, Ken Anderson for sure has to be in it. He's been bankrupted and banned from directing companies for 8 years, could potentially bankrupt Bolton since he hasn't been paying the bills and wages to staff and players.
As a Newcastle fan I can say I'd rather have Ashley than anyone else in this list
Also all 12 owners who tried to join ESL
Swansea's owners will be on this list pretty soon.
Jimbo Why?
Kaizer-Man They've destablised the club and appointed a manager who isn't the right person for the job.
hopefully
No Carson Yeung?
Hicks and Gillet ownership of Liverpool should be on the list.
Bill Archer, Brighton and Hove Albion, totally ripped our club apart.
2 names i was about to add. If not for robbie renault the Albion would have gone out of business.
The Glazers?????????
You' really cant say Ashley is worst than Cellino
the guy standing next to Zamparini looked unsettlingly like Alan Partridge
Will you do 10 best owners?
Sele Brate good idea
Ashley saved Sevco from suffering the same fate as the old Rangers, so he's not all bad.
Sevcoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Always duchatelet made standard go broke and just look at charlton right now
we had two different owners who nearly killed us (Luton) in the space of a few years
John Gurney and then Bill Tomlin
It ended up with us falling from the Championship to non league having a 30 point deduction and staying out of the football league for 5 years
Americans make lousy football owners as well.
10 owners that made there clubs great!!!
Jack walked
pinto da costa
OSODAC The Thai owner of Leicester?
Moratti at Inter
Roman Abramovic
everyone forgets Carson Yeung at Birmingham City, it's taken us 5 years to become stable even in the championship since he went to prison
Romanov at Hearts. And anyone involved in either Rangers or Sevco over the last 10 years deserve to be on this list
Glazers???
how did you make your youtube videos, what site did you use.
So many of them are Italian wow
Carlson Yeung? Gave Birmingham no money at all for about 6 years, promising 80mill a year to spend on transfers and then took the club from 8 or 9th in the prem to relegation the next year and then got got put on house arrest for money laundering and wouldn't sell the club until this year
VINCENT TAN??? Much worse than the Hull owners. Changed our colour and badge, sacked Malky Mackay, said our goalkeeper wasn't scoring enough goals and replaced a board member with his son's friend who helped paint the stadium. Enough?
damn i always knew that blackpool had lousy owners but i didn't know it got that bad
Where is sisu
I was expecting to see Vardinogiannis. He got Panathinaikos, a champions league team that could go even to the semis, he left him and now he can't go better than the Europa league group stages
What about Peter Ridsdale? He tried to buy success for Leeds United, borrowing in the hope that Leeds can keep getting into the Champions Leagues. Leeds having recovered from the mess he left. He then continued his run of financial mismanagement by nearly getting Barnsley liquidated and Cardiff had to fight off four wind-up orders, leaving the club £66 million in debt.
I was thinking the same. Harsh on Cellino when Ridsdale bollocksed it and Bates carried it forward. I'll forget about the skint Arabs as well.
Hey, if you own a English Premier team, can you also own a team in La Liga or in Germany? I always wondered if you can own multiple professional soccer teams in Europe as long as they don’t play in the same league.

Ok, i never planned to make that huge a comment....
sorry....
A lot of it would have to do with the financial crisis Greece has been going through for years.
Psomiadis and Kougias started their "career" in teams' destruction in the late 90s and PEK involved with Panathinaikos a while efore the economic crisis... Last but not least, Papathanasakis is a Canadian businessman whose whatever they are) businesses take place in Canada!

SISU? Coventry City. Got the club moved out its stadium. And the clubs in its lowest point in 50 years
Zero hours contract are good if you are a student or part time as it is more flexible
Over the last few years I've put up with A LOT of shit as a Villa fan,and I've calmly dealt with it.But to not see Randy Lerner on this list was the straw that broke the camels back.
What about Roland Duchatelet?
I'm starting to understand why Ferrari F1 team cannot be governed by Italians. It's just doesn't work.
It's a shame they are basically all Italian
Just waiting for people to say "You forgot Ed Woodward!".
Blackburn rovers, portsmouth blackpool, bolton, my list
Bechetti at leyton orient 135 years gone in 3 !!!
This should rename this episode ITALIAN owners that RUINED Their Football Club
Find it amusing how this is being recommended now with that thumbnail, very accurate atm
Clive Palmer should've been on this list. Also, I never thought that I'd see worse owners than Mike Ashley. XD
won't be long till David gold and David sullivan on that list
HappySlappr the porn bruvvers
Italian football is a mess right now. ( except for Juventus, and all those big ones) Racism, owners not caring, and less motivation for players.
The result: Italy failed to qualify for 2018 world cup.
I guess if you are italian you should not buy/make a football club
Randy Lerner destroyed Aston Villa. But Football Daily won't mention that because they only talk about London and Manchester or the have a problem with Birmingham clubs
What's with Italy?????🇮🇹🇮🇹
