What is the typical down payment needed for a home in this price range? I’m trying not to have a monthly payment over $3000

Most people in this community have between $15,000 to $43,000 set aside for the down payment. But if you wanted to lower your monthly payment then you would likely need to target 20% down (~$85k) so you can avoid PMI
