Jaguar Bass: Squier Classic vs. Fender Player. In short: neck shape matters!

If you're looking for a P+J hybrid pickup configuration and like the narrow neck width of Fender, check out the Jaguars. I forgot to mention that this Fender is a full 34" scale and the Squier is a 32" scale. I was really liking the playability of the Squier and Ibanez Mezzo medium scales, but this Fender plays so well and has that right "fit in hand" that it edged out the others.
