A couple of years back it was time to refurbish our whole 2-bedroom apartment in Seattle. We went window shopping online until we found what we wanted. We blew $10,000 on a living room, bedroom, and dining room set. We had 2 deliveries and each one took no more than 2 weeks. We retired in Eastern Washington and we still have all the furniture we bought in 2014. And a new female beagle. All the furniture was bought from Cost-co. Cost-co the way to go.

Your dogs are adorable. Would love to see a video on how you manage your dogs when you are traveling around . Do you take them with you? How about just living in the Villages when you are out and about. House looks great!

"The Boys" go for walks every morning [done a video on that] and go to the dog park [done a video on that], but we really don't take them with us around The Villages - Colt is too rambunctious - though he's getting better over time - they are both rescues.
Last year we took a cruise [did a video on that] and the dog sitter lost the dogs. We got them back, but decided to buy an RV so they could travel with us. We have lots of videos showing The Boys traveling with us.

Karen and Roy after watching this lovely video a second time with my wife we were wondering how is life in a Courtyard home? With the wall, neighbors and noise?
First, no "kissing lanai's" - that's HUGE!
We have a 2 bedroom - it's plenty big enough for us.
With 3 bedrooms you get more choices of floorplans.
We have great neighbors - I guess that's just the luck of the draw.
We are not near the turnpike, but are near the 301 - but we only hear it in the morning when walking the boys - other than that Hammock at Fenney is away from everything so it's pretty quiet.

Nice job in and out!! Those Amazon delivery drivers are frequent visitors to our home too. 😁 Just the other day we too had the landscaping updated on our CV. MCC did ours and and we are beyond impressed with their hard scaping workmanship!!! In addition to multiple flowering plants we now have in our front yard a 3 branch Robellini, Sago palm, and Christmas palm. Although it involved a little more $$, we opted to have the strip that runs along our side yard against the wall that separates us from Warm Springs landscaped as we have an end unit CV. Since there is no irrigation in that area the landscaper had to extend it with mist units along that strip so we would not have to manually water the plants. This add on was well worth it to us since we have a side facing lanai that when we out there which is often we have a direct view of these beautiful plantings. My husband was aiming for the Costa Rican rain forest look and he got pretty close to that!! Enjoy your weekend.
We are also landscaping the side against our neighbors home. 4 trellises - 2 with bougainvillea and 2 with star jasmine. There is irrigation pipe down there that our landscaper will tap into to add sprinklers for those plants.
A Costa Rican rainforest sounds good - just expensive - maybe in a few years. ;)

Love seeing how your home is decorated…I love it! Isn’t it crazy how long it’s taking to get certain pieces in?! Do you think you’ll have a professional make your window treatments or will you do it yourself?

We expected the delays so we're OK.
Karen has window treatments all picked out. The installation is the problem. There is very little space between the drywall and cement block on our exterior walls. so I'm perplexed. I can't use mollys or toggle bolts. I'll figure it out.

It's rolled vinyl. Will be replaced one day.
What are the dimensions of the tv/entertainment center? Trying to figure out how big the EC needs to be for my tv
The console is part of a larger system [you can get two side panels and a top piece to join them] but we opted for just the bottom. That piece is available in 3 widths - we picked the middle width, 68" wide x18" deep x 36" tall
We got the console and two matching end tables at Haverty's.
