Such a great video, with a new podcast and being only 6 episodes in, I want to change mine up to more of a very welcoming and simple intro rather than overthinking it, this helped a lot.
Hi Krystal! Recently started The Knowledge Trap podcast which is a solo podcast where I talk about knowledge and learning. Started it just to share what I've learned while working on a new software product, but I'm really enjoying doing it. Currently working my way through your UA-cam videos. Thanks for sharing your insights!
This is very informative Krystal. It gets me thinking. I want to do a podcast with the subject matter, "customer service." I have so much to share on the subject. I hone podcast series on different subject matters. I have years of obtaining some awesome skills that others can benefit from. I would eventually want to teach others via podcasting as an online business. I am a writer, about ten years in writing murder mysteries, spiritual and fantasy genres. Now I believe others could benefit from "how to" and podcasting rather than writing a book on it. I would love to get your opinion.
Hey Kellie! All of these are great ideas. But I didn't see a specific question in your comment. Are you trying to decide which direction to take your content? Customer service focused vs. writing? I like the idea of a customer service podcast, but I think you'd have to be even more specific with who you'd be serving. Is it customer service for small business owners? Large corporations? Automated customer service? Heart-centered customer service? Think a little bit more about the person you're trying to speak to on your podcast. I hope that helps! 🌟
Hey Krystal, thank you for your informative video. I'm about to start a podcast and I will be interviewing different guests but with the same problem. Is it fine to stick to the same intro?
Yup, if that’s the style you want to go with - try it. If you get into a few episodes and realize you don’t love it, you can always pivot. The most important piece is to get into action! 😉
I'm Solo podcast at just starting, beginner. And you're right, I'm a bit curious of how to get to into and outro, could you help me more? Please... Thank you!
Hello! Am watching you from Kenya your content is really refreshing and amazing, here i have a question how do I introduce my podcast if am in partnership with someone
Imrying to get my podcast off the ground but I'm nervous. I teach CPR in front of all kinds of people but I'm touged tied when it comes to trying to get this off the ground ?
Hey Don! Thanks for your message and reaching out. Where do you feel THE MOST stuck in getting your podcast started? Let's make that our first obstacle to overcome.
There are a few ways to do this Bamby. 1) You can break your content into short episodes to make sure they’re really focused on the topic. 2) Structure your episodes around answering one specific question, as if someone were asking you in an interview style.
I recommend recording your main audio segment first and then recording your intro so you can lead into the episode better. If that doesn't work, you can script what you want to day in the intro.
@@KrystalProffitt I wrote the script already and every time I hit recording I get confused and I end up not being able to record! This is my 5th trial and it’s not working at all I should have recorded the first episode yesterday but here I’m still trying to get it done! It’s harder than I thought
I totally understand this! And you’re not alone. My advice would be to hit RECORD and just read the script, no pressure. Tell yourself, “I can delete this whole recording if it sounds terrible!” Then, start talking. Don’t feel like you have to use that audio. Record it again and again if you need to. But try not to stay stuck. Just get started and it’ll get easier the more you keep showing up. I hope that helps. 😊

Hello! Am watching you from Kenya your content is really refreshing and amazing, here i have a question how do I introduce my podcast if am in partnership with someone
Oh that’s a great question. Do you mean partnership as a co-host for your show? Or sponsored content, where someone is paying you?
