    An FEA analysis on this problem results in maximum 285 MPA (von Mises Stress) and maximum deflection of 1.8 mm.

    Hi guys! Great video. Could you expand on this tutorial to carryout a lateral resistance (and torsional) check?
    I see this tutorial as a perfect example for modern day balcony design. Sometimes the cantilever stubs are enough. On a current project, we have a 4# 152 UC cantilever stubs (S355)... With no lateral restraint at the ends. Would be good to build on what considerations you'd need to consider!/ calculate etc. Thanks again though! As always 👍👍

    can you do a video on foundation design for cantilever beam supported by steel column has span of 10m. Example: It is a steel awning for commercial buildings.
