Thanks for yet another great video.
Great vid much appreciated
An FEA analysis on this problem results in maximum 285 MPA (von Mises Stress) and maximum deflection of 1.8 mm.
Your channel is next level. Not gonna lie 👍
Another great video ❤️
Great vid
Great 👏
great... please Haunch and apex connections next...
Can you do a deflection check? Thanks
I hope that you also included the connection design of this.
Hi guys! Great video. Could you expand on this tutorial to carryout a lateral resistance (and torsional) check?
I see this tutorial as a perfect example for modern day balcony design. Sometimes the cantilever stubs are enough. On a current project, we have a 4# 152 UC cantilever stubs (S355)... With no lateral restraint at the ends. Would be good to build on what considerations you'd need to consider!/ calculate etc. Thanks again though! As always 👍👍
Do we need to do a buckling check since the bottom part is in compression and unrestrained
can you do a video on foundation design for cantilever beam supported by steel column has span of 10m. Example: It is a steel awning for commercial buildings.
