I'll say it again: BEST PROJECT SERIES ON YT EVER!!!! Watching you struggle to get the steel ring on the round tray was hard, and funny. If you think back to pioneer days, when they made or fixed wagon wheels (or barrel makers), they would heat the metal band up to have it expand slightly, then slip it on easily. Nice and tight when it cools down, or they also quenched it in water to make it shrink fast and tight to the wood.
There is no doubt, whatsoever, this build is “the” most epic series I’ve ever watched!!! Talk about talent, skill, determination, design, you have it all guys, you really do!!! It’s a one of a kind masterpiece, everywhere you look, and I mean everywhere, it’s mind blowing how you’ve thought out all the spaces, just so cool!!!
Thank you very much, we appreciate it! We take a lot of pride in our work and like to do the best we can and learn from our mistakes whenever possible! Thanks for watching and God Bless!
My family lives in the subdivision behind this silo. I have driven by your beautiful property a zillion times and have seen you hard at work, and yes, even on those very cold, blustery winter days. I have been most intrigued at the updating of the silo. It is beyond what I would have imagined it to look like inside-GORGEOUS! You are very talented and I love that your extra helpers are other family members. I know that if we ever have a project, we will be contacting you. Thank you for sharing the journey.
I think it's all a work of art! Not just the stairs. It's nice to see you're humble and work really well together. I think what you've made is absolutely amazing!
You really don't have to give a toss for what anyone else thinks. The place is yours, you allowed us all to enjoy every minute of the build, and it is amazing to say the least. Well done and please find another silo to do :)
You do something I see many DIYers do not do and your way is how I learned while working in construction. Drilling holes through finished materials is best done by drilling from both sides when the finished material can be seen on both sides. Obviously, you already know the major reason is to prevent wood from chipping and tearing so the hole is left with a finished look.
Guys, Great job! My 85 year old dad, who is also a master carpenter watches UA-cam videos on Roku while sitting in his La-Z-Boy. He often watches various construction jobs for hours. He watched every one of your vids. I visited him and now I am addicted. Very entertaining. And So much footage…great job with the edits. I hope you get lots of contracts for others from this!
Congratulations guys! From an observer's perspective, the silo reno project is 100%++ successful. The creativity. skill and workmanship is spot-on. As perfectionists, only you are aware of the glitches here and there, and there are always things you would have done differently. You should feel proud of yourselves for a very challenging job exceptionally well done. I hope you guys are not done. I look forward to your next project and I can only imagine! Thank you for sharing your experience.
You Guys absolutely killed this project. I would love to meet your father. You guys obviously had one hell of a mentor in your younger years. Best project series I've seen yet. Bravo!
I am a lazy typist so I copied someone elses commentary that expresed my exact sentiments. Congratulations guys! From an observer's perspective, the silo reno project is 100%++ successful. This is beautiful! Simple, elegantly beautiful. Your steps are my favorite design. And personally I bet you’ll find some grabbing the nut at the top to support themselves going down the stairs. The railing is gorgeous. This is one of the best videos on YT!
One of the most spectacular, amazing projects I have seen! I think the ladders are in keeping with ambiance of the silo. It is a silo not a high rise 😂
you're young, you learned from your experience, you survived, you will be better prepared for your next adventure. that's all we can ask for in life. i really enjoyed this project and the way you edited it for us to watch. good luck going forward.
Well done gents, this was a great series to watch, thank u for all the hard work u put into it, it turned out amazing, u can be really proud of urselves. Not sure who taught u ur work ethic, but it shows thru ur team work, the quality of ur workmanship, ur characters and the final product. Look forward to what u have planned next, but first, rest WELL 😊
WOW!!! I am very impressed by your workmanship, your stick-to-itiveness. and your vision. This was an excellent series. You will go far in this life with these amazing skills!!! I can't wait for the next project!!! Thank you for sharing with us!
You guys did an amazing job. So much detail, design and work you guys put into this. I enjoyed every minute of this project. Super awesome guys. Congratulations. 👏👏👏
Men, you created something that doesn’t exist anywhere else on earth and In history that also serves as a work of art and craftsmanship. Great work, I’m looking forward to the next project !
I've seen this project from the start, weird premise but vlog after vlog I finally subscribed. I'm excited of parties here. Amazing brother cooperation, amazing woodworking skills, amazing materials, etc. Just amazing!
You guys did a awesome job and sometimes those projects you love like a Suzuki jimmy! You love for the good and for the bad all this make a special place
What an amazing and clever repurposing of a derelict farm building! Your workmanship and vision for the space were second to none. My only concern, as I was watching you put this together is, where is the toilet? It seems like there will be a lot of beverages being consumed in the silo, but no place to relieve oneself. Are there any plans to add a powder room in the future?
Amazing, beautiful, incredible, artistic, creative etc.! Can't say enough about the beauty of the finished work and the craftsmanship of you guys! Fantastic editing as well. Thank you.
It's pretty damned cool! I can't wait for the next project. Bickering can be a thing when there are so many siblings. There were 6 of us growing up in the '60's and '70's, off grid, no neighbors. I was the only girl, but there were times when arguments got physical between the boys and sometimes there were stitches but we weren't really civilized. Luckily, most of us grew up and we are now genuinely pleased to see each other and can talk like normal people so there's hope for you boys too! You are great! Any other siblings? Will we ever get to meet your folks?
Great series!! I have really enjoyed watching you all learn and try things outside your comfort zone!!! I have four girls and on our farm/winery the motto is "how hard can it be" when looking ar projects. I can't wait for the next project. PS You have inspired me to get working our stone silo so let the project begin. I'm 60 years old and still learn something new everyday. Cheers from eastern Pa.
Loved following along on this build, incredible. If you guys ever throw a party & want live music hit me up !! Would love to have some beers with you boys . Cheers 🍻
Always great to see a new post from you boys. And this one I have really been looking forward to. Great job. Hope you have some terrific gatherings in your beautiful repurposed silo.
Late 70s, neighbor wanted a powered dumb waiter between kitchen and downstairs entertainment space (to not schlep dishes and serving pieces up the stairs). The motor we chose was a garage door opener. It could handle weight and was speedy. Converted kitchen base cabinet into top landing spot (behind cab doors).
I love the ending bit where it became a clear the air space. Fight like kids then get all the grievances off your chest afterwards. That top floor felt appropriate like a clubhouse for you guys. A grown up treehouse of sorts. I'm proud of you guys and the hard work you did. Every project should have a checklist at the beginning and end: All your fingers and all your brothers. Safety and family. On to the next project boys!
lol ya we come from a large family so we joke around a lot! Laughter and our faith have kept us all very close, can’t wait to show you the next project! Thanks and God Bless!
That was amazing and fun to watch. You guys did great and were a lot of fun to watch. Entertaining, educational, funny at times. Hope you guys love it.
Here's a suggestion under the octagon table to the 1st wood rung put up a netting you can probably get any color, you wouldn't want a cellphone to ping pong down to shards amongst whatever else just a thought great series guys.
Regarding potential heat from fireplace chimney, if there is power behind the TV consider adding a couple pc fans to circulate air away from the TV. If you use USB fans designed for laptops they are relatively inexpensive and quiet. Have you added USB lighting around backside of TV and to illuminate the back bar liquor. Regarding TV’s, will the outside patio TV remain throughout the winter? Will it be removable for winter or will you be building a weatherproof cabinet around it for security and safety? The metal roofing on the silo is terrific and compliments the other buildings on the property. You gentlemen have completed a terrific recovery and reconstruction. An inexpensive solution for your elevator may be achieved by repurposing an electric scissor lift. Somewhere on YT I’ve seen these lifts repurposed for elevators. However, adding the same in your confined area is probably impractical. Wishing you and your family a blessed autumn filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together enjoying your new space. Peace
Wow guys you made an amazing job. You can be proud of yourself. For me you made it 100% perfectly. One of the best series I've watched in a long time. Greetings from Germany
Great job and great video. Silo looks great. I would put a toe kick around bottom of table so that anything dropped would not fall to floors below; like keys, phone, tools, drinks, etc.
Gentlemen, I have to tell you how impressed I am with your work. To see such incredible woodworking talent in such young men is refreshing, and a surprising. Your enthusiasm, fun spirit, and kindness among your brothers is awesome and inspiring. Keep doing amazing things and we will continue to watch and enjoy. I’d love to know if the silo project is for yourselves? A client? Who owns it? Would be really interesting to hear more about your personal backgrounds, training, and upbringing. Well done guys. Well done.
Thank you very much! This silo project is for a relative of ours. A background video about our history and family is a great, thanks for the suggestion! God Bless
Un grand bravo à vous tous les gars !!! Vous avez au moins un fan absolu en France. Merci beaucoup car ce que vous entreprenez frise la perfection. C'est très inspirant. Bonne continuation et à bientôt, Pascal
You need a toilet in the upper sitting room , take off one sofa, and make a wooden closed cabin with a water sink and a small shower .Also, you need a small lift to get upstairs. If you get a bit drunk, it may lead to some risk to get trauma, and you may drop down from these stairs .So get the project with open gates to be and door and lift upstairs.
I’m from Saukville! Can I come visit at your next Packer Party? 😊 An amazing journey! Loved all the creativity, beautiful craftsmanship, and problem solving! Amazing job you guys!
Stunning work. I've been following from the beginning; a pleasure to watch how you all work together. Just came back from Wisconsin... wish I knew where this is so I can see it IRL.
You guys did an absolutely wonderful and detailed professional and endless financial endeavor. You are ore your own worst critic From our view, absolutely fabulous!!!!!!

Congratulations guys you should be proud of what you achieved. The roof structure was the pinnacle of the project for me too.
The creativity and workmanship on this project has been next level. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.

Super project and great fun to watch you guys build. I love the imagination it took to conceive and execute this silo. Great work!
Nice silo but there's one very major flaw: it's not mine :) But seriously: stunning! Great work, guys! I can't wait to see your future projects!
lol thanks and god Bless!

Thank you very much, cheers from Wisconsin!
Smart idea and build. I just love the fact, you guys used all the recourses in your farm to do all shapes on the rebar's. Lol. Job well done.
Haha ya we had to get creative with some builds but we love it, thanks for watching!
Absolutely beautiful work, enhanced by the fact that it was a Brother´s joint effort. Cheers boys!

An amazing build! Well done all of you.
Safety - priority 😊
Amazing, beautiful, incredible, artistic, creative etc.! Can't say enough about the beauty of the finished work and the craftsmanship of you guys! Fantastic editing as well. Thank you.
28:37-30:04 There is a phenomenon known as "The innate hostility of inanimate objects". Think you guys experienced that here and triumphed. Brilliant.

Thank you for following along! Much appreciated!
AWESOME....WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
Spectacular job, you guys smashed it out of the park. Can't wait to see what the next project is!
Nice job boys. Enjoyed the series. Especially the timber framing up top.

Turned out beautifully 🥰
That was amazing and fun to watch. You guys did great and were a lot of fun to watch. Entertaining, educational, funny at times. Hope you guys love it.
Absolutely beautiful. Need to chalk out a football field next to it😂
You were right about window height. Amazing place and fantastic guys creating it. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing job, but the old tools on the display in that wall above the seating area is just so awesome!

Stunning work. I've been following from the beginning; a pleasure to watch how you all work together. Just came back from Wisconsin... wish I knew where this is so I can see it IRL.
Thanks for following along and glad you enjoyed it!
Exterior Covered stairs :)
Covered would address the weather aspect, and then could give better access to everything.
The fact that anyone would criticize even one inch of that place is ridiculous. What an amazing job!
nope, bcs this is not a renovation!!!
AWESOME ! Simply AWESOME ! Enjoy your drinks, you guys have earned it. What a jurney, from a dream to reality. Bravo !
Sydney AUST.
Best show on YT!! Everything done by the book to the highest standard 👊🏻👱🏻♂️
So glad you guys love each other. This sounds so familiar 😂

It's just perfect from top to bottom. Would not change a thing. You done well boys. As far as the ladder.. keep the lightweights ground level.
Bravo les gars, super projet mené à bien ! J'aime tout. Vous avez de bons moments à passer ensemble. Bonne continuation.
Inside the silo, you could make floating stairs going around the wall to go up. Just a thought
Looks amazing!!!
WOW!!! You did a great job, so who’s game party is first🎉 What does your parents think? I hope they can enjoy it too!
Wow! just finished 1-21.. superb outcome. Still wonderin whos the drone guy? Great shots btw.. more power brothers! From Manila 🇵🇭
wonderful job!! I still am worried about the corners on the inside edges of the spiral steps.
As there is so little weight on the winch you could make the drum fatter so it winches faster.
What a beautiful project amazing!!
Awesome work guys…Will stay tuned for the next one for sure!
