There are so many little details when it comes to classroom management that we don't even think about. Little things like you mentioned: how to get materials, when they can go to the bathroom, how they enter the classroom , passing out papers, where do students turn in finished work....the list goes on. I did a tips for new teachers video on my channel, and I explain too that you have to teach and model everything-don't take anything for granted and assume they know how to do something. I understand what you are saying about there being so much information and you not knowing where to start and it's overwhelming but yes, I sometimes have to talk to myself to and say "pick what you want to do and focus on it" don't try and do it all. I provide a lot of movement breaks...I know what you mean about "the wiggles"...the students are starting to shift and move and I'm starting to lose them. I know you touched on it, but I'd love for you to consider doing a video focusing on what you do during those times when students need a break. I need to freshen things up for myself because I have been doing the same things for years and it's getting stale for me. Great video.
