I am not Muslim, and live here in the UK, but to me it's still astonishing that anybody living in this country, would be asked to be ''Mindful of what they post?'' by one region of the British Police of all people.
surely people should be able to speak freely on any issues they feel about within this country or elsewhere.. I know we do not have the same level of Freedom of speech as the United States for example, but there is still the expectation that we can speak freely on any topic we wish within Britain amongst our entire general population, I have not heard of this Dilly before but I did like his Hospitality for the Police as a visitor to his home, I am not sure exactly what he did say previously but If it was against innocents getting caught up in this conflict then he should be able to express his opinion and others should be able to decide for themselves if they agree or disagree with that opinion, Freedom of speech is a great thing when it is done the right way.
Too many innocents getting killed on both sides, both in Gaza and elsewhere, should be kept combatant vs combatant if peace is not obtainable at the minute.

I disagreed as to why they detained me, but once I respectfully answered there questions (and they respectfully posed those questions) everything was fine. Both confrontations were respectful. It entirely depends what kind of person you get, but it seems that the police I got and the police in this videos were clearly respectful. 99% of them are if you reciprocate that respect and have nothing to hide.

How have the police got the time to make house calls about tweets that they say has not caused an offence in the law? I thought there weren't enough officers or resources to do actual policing but there's time and resources for this?
A lawyer customer of mine told me many years ago if people make such malicious allegations...counter sue them...they then are forced to provide evidence and argue their case...he should have told the police i want counter sue...the person..then the police have to decide who to prosecute...most likely no case to answer
