Mall Dining Area was a perfect clue... responding with "eating area" and "dining area" over and over, louder and louder... is not going to work
Clearly if she said "area" then that's not included in the clue.
Come on, we wanted the champions to continue so I'm glad they couldn't figure it out. It also doesn't help when that's your very first round 'cause you passed on the other three to practice on.

What is a food court? If Lisa only had a couple of extra words at her disposal 😢. Top dog = opposite bottom cat, would have given her two more words. Consume food = could have been one more word. So, a total of 6 (double) for food court. But great effort though 👏.
They're restaurants inside the mall. Fast food mostly.
Are you from America? A food court is a section of a mall that just is fast food like Orange Julius. If she said "Orange Julius, mall," maybe they'd get it unless they don't know malls.
I was playing along and instantly guessed 'food court'. It's a large area inside a mall with multiple fast food outlets. They're very popular here in Canada. Of course, not quite as popular as they used to be when I was younger.
Could this be an age thing or maybe regional? I definitely didn't know food court wasn't commonly known. They're the area where lots of restaurants are joined together. Typically you see them inside malls or rest stops along the highway for example.
Tuesday = second week date, if after Monday is not allowed 🚫 as it has day in it 🤷🏻♂️. Embarrass = humiliate would have saved two words from ‘make me blush’. Space = National Aeronautics… Noodle = instant ramen. For gently, maybe gentle giant then say adverb for when the say gentle 🤔. Unlucky 😢 better luck next time.

I'm not so sure Sunday, Monday wouldn't be allowed since Tuesday isn't a compound word in this sense? .. unlike caregiver, you can't say care or give. But cheerful, the clue Delightful would be accepted. dunno?
@KnottingMooF In your example for cheerful and delightful, "ful" itself is not a word. That's a technicality clearly since "full" with two l's is a word. For Monday and Tuesday "day" is a word so it can't be used. It's not about them being compound words per se (although that'd always get a buzz), it's that the spelling and pronunciation are the same.

Jaleel is a horrible clue giver. I know he did well on the color round, but in general he is terrible. And he gets frustrated when the contestants can't guess the world from his bad clues. I just wish those two could win the money round.
The only three times they've won, it was Chris giving the clues. Don't know why they thought to switch it up.
Ugh can they not choose the celebrity guest for the finale? They keep losing time and time again.
