The bonus round in Woolery's version is longer, requiring players to get 10 correct words in 2 minutes or less. Each player has 5 chances to guess the correct word.
Don't get me wrong I like both versions really but in two different senses like Chuck Woolery version in the bonus round you actually win by luck but in this version you actually win by using your brain

I've just discover the English version of this game. In France the game is call MOTUS. It's fun because you have to pick-up a ball on the wall, while we puck up a ball on the table of the game. Your decor is more modern that us but our OST/Sound is better that your version. (It's my opinion) :)

@@CoolJoshido212 some people, myself included, are not fans of Bill Engvall giving a pun laden clue to them before giving them the first letter… And they prefer to pull numbers out of a hopper instead of picking a ball off of a rack.

NY Times, in their infinite wisdom, just paid a million dollars for Wordle; Lingo stripped down to a daily puzzle format. While we're all busy pointing and laughing at them, I'd like to note that GSN absolutely has the resources to sue the pants off of 'em. I don't speak much legalese, but it seems there's a case to make, here.
The fact that Wordle doesn't give you any letters to begin with is probably enough to not have a case. And the term LINGO is just a ripoff of BINGO anyway and refers to getting five in a row more than the word game itself
