Just watching your MD80 v1.3 update. I am undergoing a china flu variant, and what better way to suffer a miserable day than flt sim tut's. My comment is this. Having just found you, i can understand and follow you. Your explanation of gauges and switches, their location is succinct and simple. Two of my favorite things: An MD-80 (hardly anyone flies those things these days), coupled with an Iberian livery (great Spanish home airline, and great livery colors). Just doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for the upload!
B3burner Yeah, sadly the mad dogs are reaching the end if their days. Thankfully Delta still run tons of 88s and 90s around the eastern US for me to watch and enjoy for a few more years at least.
This is by far my favorite plane in XP 11. I purchased it about 2 weeks ago and have been flying every night on multiple flights. I am still trying to figure out the FMC or CDU. whatever you want to call it. But i have been successful in programming in waypoints and getting it to work in VNAV. For 60 dollars I was hesitant but it proved to be a good purchase. And it is easy on the frames for me even with 4k textures.
Truly, one of the nicest workhorse jets that is still in service. I like the fact that it is unique in the cockpit's functionality over Airbus and Boeing, which I happen to like!
The exterior modeling, VC and texturing on this bird is superb.....but Leonardo's Fly the Maddog still takes the cake with systems modeling and flight dynamics. I'm curious to see how ATS's md80 holds up against the two. Time will tell (assuming they ever finish it). Nice to see developers are still focusing on the Maddog though.....it's certainly one of the most interesting tubeliners in operation at the moment.....it's a great combination of analog and digital system integration....not to mention it's one of the few planes out there that you still need to fly! Great video froogs......please keep up the 'fabulous' work.
Nice to see the videos rolling out again Froogle. I get that life get's in the way sometimes. I was going through Froogle withdrawal there for a while. The MD-80 looks like one that I may have to add to my fleet. Looking forward to part 2.
Nice video and couldn't agree more with you regarding Ortho4XP and the amazing results it can give you! Started playing around with with XP11 myself after many years of FS and P3D and now that I got used to XP with its Ortho4XP plus many other things I'm not sure if I'll go back to P3D again. After spending thousands of hours in the NGX simulating real world ops as closely as possible I figured now that I'm enjoying XP maybe this is also the time to get myself a new aircraft and I then wanted a fun and fast one but still as realistic as possible. I think my choice of buying the Bombardier Challenger 300 was a good one but there's loads of stuff to get used to and learn being so used to the NGX. For this reason I would love to see this aircraft featured on your channel and a tutorial similar to this one would be awesome! Happy flying ☺️
I don't fly the MD-80 but whenever landing at LaGuardia i rarely see the flaps or gear until short final. It is definitely true it almost feels like you're stopping in the sky
Yet another great video. Thanks Froogle !!. BTW, why the instrument panel is bobbing at 11:55 ? It looks like the pilot is breathing or something like that. Cheers
Greetings Froogle! As a real world MD-80 pilot (please see my UA-cam page) I looked forward to this release for a long time. I must say it's about 90% perfect! I've started flying the 767 recently and now find myself flirting this more offer on xplane11. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to do this videos! Keep up the good work!
Great video. I have been holding off buying this for the past few months waiting to see the ATS version. But with seeing this and with all the BS and fooling around by ATS I am definitely buying this now. You sold another for them, thanks!
Well froogle you've convinced me, I was on the fence a while ago. I said my grrl said I could get any plane I wanted and I got some suggestions on a twitch stream you hosted, ended up getting the B407 which is awesome but I'll be visiting the org today. Thanks again
Excellent video. Probably the best flight tutorial i've seen on YT yet. Confused about one thing. Isn't NAV & VNAV part of the autopilot? You activated the AP after you hit VNAV and NAV.
Nice to see new X-Plane videos to the channel Froogle! I was affraid that you'd lost interest in it with all the p3D videos coming on-line... I love the MD-80 and I can also recommend the IXEG 737 which is now also fully supported in XP11! Looking forward to see part two!
Just one thing Froogle - when setting the fuel in X-Planes menu, you need to change it so you're only using the wing tanks. As you know, a plane doesn't get fueled equally 3 ways (left/center/right). Also, this can ruin the handling of the aircraft as developers tweak that to be correct for fuel in wings only (any extra fuel will still go in center tanks obviously). You can also use the boxes to input the EXACT amount of fuel, instead of using the cumbersome slider which makes it difficult to stop on the right value.
Me too ! Mine ( the original in XPLANE) doent seem to have an operable CDU ? do you know any thing about that ? i cant enter data or Import SImbrief ... properly anyway . THank
FLY X nice list! I would say that the Rotate MD-88 would fit perfectly in that list! But may i suggest some other planes? Those are mostly coming soon, so you might want to wait a little longer with deciding: Ramzzess has announced that the Flight Factor A320 is almost ready for public beta, and they are finishing up the last bugs. I would say, that in a month it will be out. Also, if you are more a systems man you could also wait for the ATS MD-80. It's not the best on external visuals, and it could take some time till it's out but i'm a beta tester and it is much better than Rotate on systems. PMDG has also stated that they are going to make an XP11 compatibility update for the DC-6, and some fixes in the plane itself. Those planes are likely to come out this year so i should keep a little money in your pocket before making the decision ;)
Question - I follow your procedure for the Rotate MD-88 in X-Plane and everything works until I go to select "TO" on the TRP. In your video, as soon as you hit "TO", "EPR T/O" lit up on the FMA, but on mine, I hit "TO" on the TRP and nothing showed up on the far left window on the FMA. It stayed dark. Why could that be?
Hi... Thank you for this. I've been pulling my hair out with my X-Plane 10 Mobile (pre-Global). There are some differences (non functionality) but hey, it's a mobile version. Can anyone tell me the difference between CRS (Course) and HDG (Heading)?
Hi, please, help. When I set hyd off&low after take off, i will get some cautions like "ELEV CONTROLS MANUAL" "L & R HYD PRES LOW" "MACH TRIM FALUT" "RUDDER CONTROL MAN". I did not see any in your video so i am afraid that I am doing something wrong.
Hi froogle! Amazing stuff, this video has remembered me that I have the Leonardo maddog on my FSX hangar, maybe I will learn how to fly the beast as a summer project :). By the way, I think you set the squawk code wrong, shouldn't it be 2000 for non controlled ifr flights in Europe? Once again, thank you for the amazing content!
Hi Froogle, great video! I've been looking to get into XP11 for a while now. I've downloaded it and am beginning to tinker with it. You've mentioned on a couple of videos the use of OrthoXP, will you being doing any videos on how to use it? (apologies if you already have and i've missed it). Also, just wondered what the cloud and sky textures were that you were using? I'm not sure their stock, i cant get mine to look like that. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your channel!
I have been considering doing an Ortho4XP video yes - I'm not an expert in it and can only really show what's worked for me, but I'll look into it. The clouds you are seeing are completely stock Xplane 11
Thanks 0321Sjoerd. I'll certainly look into it. I already subscribe to his channel and really enjoy it. I know others like Luna have also made video's on it. This is just a personal opinion and without looking at what Q8Pilot has done i cant really judge but historically i have always found Froogles tutorial videos very easy to follow but that's just me. I remember struggling with some of the PMDG aircraft, the 737NG would be a good example, the Majestic Q400 and tools such as PFPX and Chase Plane, despite following the manuals and the tutorial flights. I then watched his videos and it all came together, to the extent that they are my preferred aircraft and tools now! - but that may also be down to a combination of factors; lots of practice and study, with his videos being the last piece of my learning puzzle
Hi Froogle thanks for your reply. I appreciate your sentiments but if you consider yourself not to be an expert, what do you think that makes me?! ;) - worse than a novice / amateur? :S I've always found your tutorial videos very insightful and helpful (see my reply below to 0321Sjored), i'm sure i'm not the only one. Thanks for looking into this. Regards,
I don't get this pro x plane 11, for something doesn't work. Do we have to download the plugin? Again some of these buttons don't work and this MD 80 is deferent from yours .
SpearHead1011 Its simply the default XPlane camera. So you can assign some keys to move around the cabin. To create views all you need to do is Hold CTRL and a numpad key value like 7 and thats the view created.Make sure to have numlock on or else it wont work ;)
There surely are tutorials on it. On default it's CTRL+Numpad number to assign a view and then you use numpad keys to go to your assigned view. There is also a great camera tool called X-Camera and its developer made several tutorials.
SpearHead1011 Use the arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right. Use the "." (period) and "," (comma) keys to zoom in and out, respectively. Froogle has made a video on using views presets in X-Plane. Check his video list.
As always great video. Some fluttering I have in objects and shadows in the cockpit ( some objects and shadow shaking a little) please what's the reason? Please advise if I can correct it. GPU 1080ti use!!
Should I switch to X-Plane 11 (from FSX:SE)? I own X-Plane 10 disc but I don't use it. I am thinking of switching to P3D as I have the Aerosoft A320/A321, JF MD80 (Which is awful), PMDG 737, Aerosoft Twin Otter (With TSS Sounds) and the Captin SIm 767 (Which I hate)
I've made the switch from P3D (2.5) and am not regretting it 1 bit. The increase in performance AND it's durability / smoothnes cant be compared to P3D imho. I dont know about P3D v4 but additionally i dont like the licensing scheme Lockheed is using (of course it's not "intended" for consumer but that's another story). Flight simming is a hobby as good as anything else. So i have upgraded XP11 already with B757 from FlightFactor as well as xEnviro and I'm waiting for study level sim A320 from FlightFactor. Additionally XP11 is very versatile and can be upgraded with a lots of plugins, free (& very good quality) scenery etc pp. And it doesnt install at all that deep in the OS as MS FSX or P3D does. You can save and restore it easily...
Sounds good! But I'm only reluctant to switch due to the fact that I have spent well over £200 on FSX/P3D (I also have GSX, FlyTampa Amsterdam, ORBX Innsbruck and the QualitySim British Aerospace 146/Avro RJ)
Who hasn't spend that much on this sim... :) I have "thrown in the trash" a big collection of Aerosoft scenery as well as in my opinion very good A318-A321 from Aerosoft as well. Still haven't one single regret. Also remember there are really quality free plugins / "addons" available which don't cost a thing (like AutoGate, GroundHandling, Betterpushback, free HD mesh etc ...). You will be rewarded with a smooth and not stuttering (or even ctd-ing) sim. The flying experience from old FS 2004 is back again, just in up to date graphics and stability even with all the plugins and scenery. If you are unsure you can always download the free demo and test it yourself (i highly recommend that).
I would go for XP11, i am an ex-FSX user and flew on P3D a few hours, but it just doesn't do the job for me: realism. Well, if you have a lot of money it can look great but on XP the most is free. It is really the future
How should I know? I'm not the the programmer. It creates lit textures (which it makes from areas it identifies as urban) and winter textures, which I believe have to be chosen prior to flight, since Xplane doesn't support seasons.
It can yes- With Overlays though you can tap into the X-Plane auto gen on that flat scenery and it's not too shabby, particularly for flights like this
frooglesim , I use FSX SE on win 10 I 5 quad core etc if I switch to XPlane 11 is it best to uninstall FSX SE and all the pay ad dons like ORBX scenery etc , the add on's etc you mention (free) or pay how do you as a new user of X plane 11 become aware , the stuff you mention I have never come across before? Thanks Charlie
Terrain and lighting may be great, but there's always something not working or, it's hard to operate the switches, or I fly Flight Factor B767 and the sim crashes on approach... always something, at least for me. I like the look of x-plane, but I'll stick with P3DV4 where everything works and I have no problems at all.
There are many default planes in X-Plane, with a default MD-80. This plane, is not one of them. As pointed out by froogle above, this is a payware addon from store.x-plane.org
SmokingSpitfire nope. JRollon (a payware dev) made a 747-400 for default, it looks nice but the systems are (like Carenado :P) not that great. The build-in Cessna 172 is amazing though! Also the default 737-800 with the free zibo mod is payware level!
Yep X-Plane is definitely one notch ahead with the default stuff in the visuals. And what is even more amazing is the transition and the night lighting. I actually did a video for a friend ua-cam.com/video/Wzrn1fHtJzE/v-deo.html (far from the quality of your videos and no comments ;)) and it's just always so amazing how real the nigh lighting is as well with all those tiny cars lights going down the roads and so on. All I'm really lacking is the high end market iarcraft addons, hopefully it's getting better PMDG DC-6 which I used is quite a lot of fun althoughI honestly don't see my self flying without the AFE as it would really be too much a handful I guess with a virtual cockpit to set up properly all those levers for managing the thrust and all. I also quite like the IXEG 737 classic which is quite a good sim as well. I might get into that MD80 at some point now :) as I had been a bit cooled by the previw video, but also from some not so good experience with other deves and also some developers hard to follow naming shceme, advanced, pro, v2, ...
I dont know why all ppl that make tutorials of this plane feed the aircraft with APU when the real proceed is feed the plane with GPU, in real life the APU must be start when the plane close door and departs
Maurits Veen I'm so used to FSX/P3D environment that it would be hard to switch. I appreciate somewhat "realistic" P3D ATC. Especially if you use EditVoicepack. May be it's just me, but P3D looks more "real" to me.
i agree that the scenery for xplane looks good, but Prepar3D is much better at airport and city scenery due to 3rd party providers. I live in australia and my city buildings in x-plane at my home airport would look more at home in an eastern block country. Mind you from 10,000 feet it looks great in xplane.
that's where the Freeware community step in. ton and i mean TONS of great scenery for the entire world. my custom scenery folder is well over 100gb and not one cost me anything
The scenery graphics with X-11 are so much better than FSX. That is right out of the box. However, when you start loading the FlyTampa stuff, the game changes. Yes, it is a payware addon. But the realism in FSX goes up through the roof. I am sure the FlyTampa stuff is also available in X-11, but then you are paying for that as well. Bottom line: This is far superior to the generic tiles in FSX.
I keep coming back to your videos after all these years. Thank you for the services you provided to the community.
I LOVE the Rotate MD-80.
Just watching your MD80 v1.3 update. I am undergoing a china flu variant, and what better way to suffer a miserable day than flt sim tut's.
My comment is this.
Having just found you, i can understand and follow you. Your explanation of gauges and switches, their location is succinct and simple. Your procedures (theirs) are something I can follow [compared to other nervous laughter presentations.
I have only loaded X-plane 12 once so i look forward to more of your videos.
Time marches on, so please don't stop your videos. I learn from them, to say nothing about enjoying your accent, and language.
Are you a professional trainer/presenter?
Thanks and many cheers.
Alan
Two of my favorite things: An MD-80 (hardly anyone flies those things these days), coupled with an Iberian livery (great Spanish home airline, and great livery colors). Just doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for the upload!
B3burner Yeah, sadly the mad dogs are reaching the end if their days. Thankfully Delta still run tons of 88s and 90s around the eastern US for me to watch and enjoy for a few more years at least.
This is by far my favorite plane in XP 11. I purchased it about 2 weeks ago and have been flying every night on multiple flights. Great video froogs......please keep up the 'fabulous' work.
Will come to X-Plane 12 soon....YEAH! One of the best aircraft I have.
I remember that first video! I've been looking forward to this follow up!! Thanks Froogle!
As always brilliant in-depth video... X-Plane making the NAME !
Nice to see the videos rolling out again Froogle. I get that life get's in the way sometimes. I was going through Froogle withdrawal there for a while. The MD-80 looks like one that I may have to add to my fleet. Looking forward to part 2.
Froogle we need more videos like this! This is giving me vibes from the first PMDG NGX FS2Crew video that first got me onto your channel.
I must admit seeing the lake in the valley below, does really look stunning!
Silver Myth when?
At minute 40:25 you can see the two lakes in the scenery below.
Silver Myth ah yeah i see it, it looks great :)
Nice video and couldn't agree more with you regarding Ortho4XP and the amazing results it can give you!

Yet another great video. Thanks Froogle !!. BTW, why the instrument panel is bobbing at 11:55 ? It looks like the pilot is breathing or something like that. Cheers
Great video! Glad to see you back and doing more videos. I can't imagine how much time goes into producing a video of that length.
Nice video and excellent tutorial on the mad dog! Glad to see someone showing how great xplane can look for free with a bit of work.
Well done...
Have been watching your videos for many years now, always find them informative and enjoyable!
Thanks Froogle, great video. I bought this months ago, so referencing the manual and this video I'll give it another flight. Thanks again.
Great video. I have been holding off buying this for the past few months waiting to see the ATS version. But with seeing this and with all the BS and fooling around by ATS I am definitely buying this now. You sold another for them, thanks!
Great overview as always cant wait for part 2 Many thanks !!!
Well froogle you've convinced me, I was on the fence a while ago. I said my grrl said I could get any plane I wanted and I got some suggestions on a twitch stream you hosted, ended up getting the B407 which is awesome but I'll be visiting the org today. Thanks again
Nice video. I love the way you explain everything in detail. Earned a sub and a like!
Thanky Froogle, awesome vid...!!!!!
I'm waiting for part 2
Très bonne présentation du MD80 , cela m'a permit de mieux comprendre cet avion ... bravo et merci (Eric from Reunion is)
Well done and well put @frooglesim
Excellent video. Probably the best flight tutorial i've seen on YT yet. Confused about one thing. Isn't NAV & VNAV part of the autopilot? You activated the AP after you hit VNAV and NAV.

Hey sjoerd
Hey Sjoerd are you going to do some more in the MD-80 ?
Mr FairyCake if you like I can do that. I'm quite busy with work at the moment, but I'll keep it mind for a future video!
You should see it in VR, it's even more beautiful!
Fantastic tutorial. Thanks.
An A1 tutorial, Froogle. Many thanks.
Yesss, some X-Plane :D
Happy to see you flying X-Plane and highlighting some of its good features. P3D is awesome but it has a cost to make it look good.
thank you for this video Froogle. It helped me a great deal this plane is amazing to fly
Froogle brilliant tutorial. What ortho4xp setting did u use ie zoom level etc
Great tutorial and very thourough!
That's a really good video, as usual! Keep up the good job. Cheers;
15:48 So no Gimli Glider reenactment? ;)
How do you get the 30sec IRS alignment? AFAIK the most recent release (1.31) takes a full 5 min to align. Is there a "quick" setting?
I only like one thing about the md-80. The fact that the cockpit looks like a spaceship
Did they model the magnetic compass? Looks like a great aircraft!
Im not sure - I think so
Actually they didn't. There's supposed to be mirrors just above the MCP because the compass is actually behind the FO.
+Taylor Broad ah yes good call. I remember Paul explaining that to me. Thanks
Me too ! Mine ( the original in XPLANE) doent seem to have an operable CDU ? do you know any thing about that ? i cant enter data or Import SImbrief ... properly anyway .
THank
Best tutorial out
Nice! Been flying a tone of Xplane recently, been thinking of getting the MD80, this may convince me :)
FLY X which aircraft so you already have?
IXEG 737-300, Flight Factor 757 and 767, Jar design A320 and A330 and Zibo 737-800 mod
FLY X nice list! I would say that the Rotate MD-88 would fit perfectly in that list! But may i suggest some other planes? Those are mostly coming soon, so you might want to wait a little longer with deciding:
Ramzzess has announced that the Flight Factor A320 is almost ready for public beta, and they are finishing up the last bugs. I would say, that in a month it will be out. Those planes are likely to come out this year so i should keep a little money in your pocket before making the decision ;)
Ah ok nice, I can't wait for the A320 I'm a big Airbus fan, and the Flight Factor A320 look a damm fine product! :)
FLY X then i would wait for the public beta ;)
How to make these blue clocks illuminated what you have on the top of the cockpit?
you are doing a good job
Question -
I follow your procedure for the Rotate MD-88 in X-Plane and everything works until I go to select "TO" on the TRP. Did you ever figure it out I had the same problem
Hi... Thank you for this. I've been pulling my hair out with my X-Plane 10 Mobile (pre-Global). There are some differences (non functionality) but hey, it's a mobile version.

where do you get your checklist from?
Ok verry good
From usa

First.. GREAT vid.. My question: The engine effect on 28 mins which addon is that i don't see it in my x-plane 11 :P Thx in advance.. Maik
Found it :P
I just bought this plan do I need to update the fmc cycle to 1704 from 1607 and is so how do I do that
Hi, please, help.

Wow Pete... wow.

Which checklist do you use?

Nice video purchased it upon your rec! I am new to flight sim and jumped into Xplane 11. What are you using to skim around the cockpit like that?
SpearHead1011 Its simply the default XPlane camera. So you can assign some keys to move around the cabin. To create views all you need to do is Hold CTRL and a numpad key value like 7 and thats the view created.Make sure to have numlock on or else it wont work ;)
+SpearHead1011 the built in view system. Nothing crazy
Built in? Can you make a tutorial on that?
There surely are tutorials on it. On default it's CTRL+Numpad number to assign a view and then you use numpad keys to go to your assigned view. There is also a great camera tool called X-Camera and its developer made several tutorials.
SpearHead1011 Use the arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right. Use the "." (period) and "," (comma) keys to zoom in and out, respectively. Froogle has made a video on using views presets in X-Plane. Check his video list.
Does this work with Native VR?
More PMDG products for X-Plane 11!
theageingrocker they are 'considering' making a DC-6 for XP11, so don't think we will ever see a PMDG airliner in XP11
Glenn Chambers yes, an XP10 version. Now they are considering making an XP11 version
All I want is the 777.
As always great video. Some fluttering I have in objects and shadows in the cockpit ( some objects and shadow shaking a little) please what's the reason? Please advise if I can correct it. GPU 1080ti use!!
Georgios Giannoukos look at the org for a lua script that fixes shadows.

Georgios Giannoukos here you go.. read the description and follow the instructions. forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/38359-jagged-shadow-fix/
Is that vibration during roll caused by an addon or the MD80?
XPRealism add-on
You can get a similar vibration effect using the free SimCoders HeadShake add-on.
top notch :)
Where is Ground Speed displayed in this aircraft ?
Awesome tutorial. I could understand it as a 12 year old
Nice!
Check out the lsh maddog md80
Thanks for this - I think you just sold another MD-80!
4th time i've been here, and now 1000th viewer 😄
It is really the future
awesome tutorial froogle, i'm the 122nd thumbs up lol :)
Actually there's a tool to make your orthophotos into winter ones and also give you night textures.
ErixCZE How ?
How should I know? I'm not the the programmer. It creates lit textures (which it makes from areas it identifies as urban) and winter textures, which I believe have to be chosen prior to flight, since Xplane doesn't support seasons.
Does the orthxp look really flat at low altitudes?
It can yes- With Overlays though you can tap into the X-Plane auto gen on that flat scenery and it's not too shabby, particularly for flights like this
Thanks!
Are you using any weather plugins?
Nope
frooglesim , I use FSX SE on win 10 I 5 quad core etc if I switch to XPlane 11 is it best to uninstall FSX SE and all the pay ad dons like ORBX scenery etc , the add on's etc you mention (free) or pay how do you as a new user of X plane 11 become aware , the stuff you mention I have never come across before? Thanks Charlie
zoom 16 at 4000 ft is more than anyone can ask for such a small space on the HDD
Johnny Wing for me it's the other way around
Johnny Wing do you have social media? If yes, send me your log.txt next time it crashes
Is the rotatesim md80 the one that is currently there in the install of xplane 11? Or am i just a moron.
No, it's an add-on aircraft available from x-plane.org
There are many default planes in X-Plane, with a default MD-80. This plane, is not one of them. As pointed out by froogle above, this is a payware addon from store.x-plane.org
Maurits Veen okay I thought so. Was just thinking it was like p3d, with Carenado stuff built in
SmokingSpitfire nope. JRollon (a payware dev) made a 747-400 for default, it looks nice but the systems are (like Carenado :P) not that great. The build-in Cessna 172 is amazing though! Also the default 737-800 with the free zibo mod is payware level!
froogle i did not catchit it,,are you using ortho or dont,,,sorry my englisn not the best
got it at the end,,,yes ortho-----
what is the name of the autogen addon? Auto for XP? Or does someone have a link to this addon?
Stijn van Selling Ortho4XP Google it
nice thanks!
Is je foto van Simcenter?
zeer zeker ;)
Route not loaded
I might get into that MD80 at some point now :) as I had been a bit cooled by the previw video, but also from some not so good experience with other deves and also some developers hard to follow naming shceme, advanced, pro, v2, ...
you still flying x plane
I dont know why all ppl that make tutorials of this plane feed the aircraft with APU when the real proceed is feed the plane with GPU, in real life the APU must be start when the plane close door and departs
I really miss Maddog in P3D V4. Hopefully some developers fill the empty spot.
KOMEPCAHT come to XP11, it will be worth it 100%! The Rotate MD-88 is already out and soon another MD-80 (Study Level) will come out!
Maurits Veen I'm so used to FSX/P3D environment that it would be hard to switch. I appreciate somewhat "realistic" P3D ATC. Especially if you use EditVoicepack.
May be it's just me, but P3D looks more "real" to me.
But it looks amazing from the air tho
i agree that the scenery for xplane looks good, but Prepar3D is much better at airport and city scenery due to 3rd party providers.
The 3rd party addons are all payware in P3D, one reason for me not to go back
XP11 with Ortho and AustraliaPro ( Both free ) Look more like Australia then P3D ever will
thank you
Pete, are you ex-RAF?
no sir, 100% nerd
I was just curious ... You have that "radio English" voice they all seem to have.
Stall the md 80
tdg makes a great freeware san sebastian airport -
