The sound pack for previous version works fine with the XP12 version, and the developer said in the ORG forum that he is working on an update by the end of the month.
I only fly in VR and in that respect the XP12 version is a huge step forward and totally worth the $25. The XP11 version was not usable for me because it had no VR support and had been gathering dust in my hangar for 5 years. Now it is fully compatible. Rotate has uploaded 2 additional cockpit textures, in salmon and in grey. Btw... there is a nice little FWL plugin called Simbrief Helper which gives you all needed informations on one page. No need to scroll through the OFP over and over again. It saves time. ;)
If you have the Immersion Audio sounds for this aircraft in XP11, it will also work in XP12 mostly. The IA group are reworking the kit for XP12. FTSim sounds, so far, are not compatible sadly.
Re the sound: I only used the MD 88 on XP11. Not sure if Q8 pilot has rode in the front of an MD 80 variant, but row 1 on the much shorter 717 was unquestionably the quietest airplane seat I've ever experienced. I thought the sound in XP 11 would have been realistic on the much longer MD88, especially from the cockpit.
LOL at that flyby sound after takeoff. Awesome aircraft but it genuinely seems like they spent about 2 minutes on that sound set. I don't think even default X-Plane from 20 years ago sounded that terrible.
I have this plane for xplane 10 if I buy xplane 12 can I use that ? Or I gotta buy again?$25 for upgrade?OK but can I upgrade from a version made for xpkane10 to xplane 12?
Soundpack... Mango are on it nowww 😂

How do you have that nice simtoolkit window in the Sim at 20:30?
It is freeware available at simtoolkitpro.co.uk/

It’s great that they keep the textures low for all of us that have less than very powerful machine!
I remember Sublogic flightSim so any flight sim to me is an upgrade.
Can you upload the file to have those same wings views? regards
