    I am Gary to my mom friends.
    Other women self care with massages, I shave my callouses.
    We were doing a WOD of 5x3 min rounds with a 500m row and rem rep front squats. B/c of my messed up knee, I can't go very far with each pull. He changed it to 350m for me and I was able to have 30 sec left for front squats. I've been CFing for 6 years and learned long ago my ego won't keep me healthy and fit.
    When I come in first, my main thought is, "Dang should've made it harder."
    Thanks for the video!

    I love all your videos! I can do the work outs at home vs paying $150 per month. Even though I miss my CrossFit gym soooooo much! Sweetest people I ever met. I was shocked. I always talk about how amazing it was and how much it pushed me! I wish my insurance would pay for a gym membership instead of anti anxiety medication 🙄

      Hey Sarah!
      As someone who regularly sees a psychiatrist (And they offer me meds too)
      I really wish they did sponsor Crossfit as a pathway for mental health.
      As suggested in another comment, training at home is great! Performing Crossfit anywhere will still get the benefits needed!
      But as you said, $$$ can hurt!
      I'd just suggest to drop into your Crossfit gym from time to time, to continue that love, flavour & those connections at that box, while not breaking the bank!

    hey mate I'm new to cross fit. Are kettlebells still considered a cross fit workout/tool?

    • @tylerjaehamilton
      @tylerjaehamilton  2 роки тому +1

      A great tool for training!
      They don't see much light in competitions these days, The kettlebell, however, is used in hundreds of CrossFit workouts!

    I’m so skinny and lanky. I want to do CrossFit, mustering the courage to try it.

      First off. Best last name for the sport.
      I was the same when I first started too (skinny and short) My mate asked me to come AND I TURNED HIM DOWN!
      9 years later, and I'm glad he was persistent.

    I'm in Guildford and the monthly cost for CF here and in London is insane!

      The price of Crossfit can hurt the bank.
      For many people, they just find it far too expensive for a couple of workouts a week.
      My big thing is;
      - Nothing beats the affiliate environment (The cost is invaluable for results)
      - Money doesn't grow on trees
      I'd highly suggest if you can afford the fee of Crossfit on a regular basis, perform it from a 24/7 gym & 'Drop in' to Crossfit boxes from time to time!
