We installed a Forge Blow-off valve kit from ECS tuning on my guy Pete's Mk6 GTI. This car has a 3.5" CTS down pipe and some ebay axle back and it sounds insane
once i had a friend who wanted to record my exhaust sound from the front lmao he asked if its shoot flames i said hell yeah and started recording from the front of my car
I know this video is older, but did you reuse the bolts that came off the old valve? I’m having trouble with one of the bolts on the side with the bracket. Like it won’t tighten. I thought I fucked the hole up, but when I remove the backer I can tighten the bolt without it. I’m thinking I need one slightly longer bolt, but idk
Has your friend had any problems with vacuum solenoid nipples breaking, since hes has it on for about 5 months? im trying to cop one of these but the plastic nipples have me worried
nah he hasn't had any issues with that blow off valve. I didnt think it'd be worth the money but after hearing it for so long, it's 100% worth it. I recommend it

What exhaust, my friend said I should just go for straight pipe catless. Cts catless turbo down pipe with a cobb stratified tune, he said it will pass emmisions.
Jonathan Estrada Yes you want to run dv+ gfb... do not run blow-off valves Volkswagens were made to reVamp and reuse the pressure and by using a blow off valve you release the pressure that the car naturally reuses... if you want the blow off sound for your car for shows just buy a spacer but do not keep it on if you're looking for horsepower...

Your downpipe is just like mine lol it’s solid but doesn’t line up with those support holes anyways for the mount

When you remove the superior diverter valve for a bov valve because of the sound, you look super smart.

flutter on high rpm is bad for your turbo, stiffer spring or no bov will do the job, also fuck up your turbo

Why put a blow off valve on a gti?
Volkswagen MK6 GTI do they run better with diverter valves than with blow offs? Thats what i heard and thats why i went with the GFB dv instead
