🐝 Placing queen cells into poor performing beehives. Orara Valley Honey March 2024.

🐝 In this video, I identify poorly performing beehives, locate the queen & replace her with a ripe queen cell.
🐝 The queens that have been removed will be used to start mini-mating nucs.
🐝 The hives will be rechecked in a couple of weeks to ensure the new queen has hatched, mated & is laying eggs.
🐝 It's getting late in the season, so this may be my last opportunity to replace queens.
