🐝 Sorting out the Crossmaglen beehive. Locating the queen & reorganising the hive. Jan 2024.

🐝 In this video, I go through the process of tidying up the hive that I picked up at Crossmaglen.
🐝 The queen's location was narrowed down by placing queen excluders between the supers.
🐝 I located the queen at the third inspection & placed her in the bottom super below a queen excluder.
🐝 This hive is defensive & unpleasant to inspect. The queen will be replaced in the near future.
