Drawing inspiration on this video recipe from @B. Dylan Hollis and @Tasting History with Max Miller (love both those guys). The HISTORY of this recipe has followed me since the early 1980's where strawberry jello pretzel salad showed up at every big family gathering. And it was NEVER considered a dessert, but a side dish to consume with all the main savory things. Retro, weird, and perfect!
My gram always put one slice of pretzel salad on a plate at everyone's seat at the BEGINNING of our Christmas meal--it was like an appetizer here in the 'Burgh.
@@DougCooking I’m making it tonight. So far so good. I did add a 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar to help stabilize the whipped cream. We’ll see if that helps.

We use this as a desert.
What would you say is the time commitment to make this (excluding the time it needs to set in the fridge)?
It took me two hours when I filmed it, which is overkill. I think each step is probably around 15 minutes, 45 minutes total to assemble. 👍
