Thanks! Have you been able to track down the one from Artisan Spirits? Difficult finding it as a single part (instead of full kit). Think it's one of the best looking options out there...
and all of these can be had sub 100 from your ebay chinese merchandise sellers (which all of the "branded" ones are pretty much made in china anyway) I'm eyeing that cutout at $85 on ebay atm
I wonder if any of those spoilers may interfere or help closing the trunk? - Since the lid is not closing electrically, you need to apply some pressure with your hand. Something that I would like to avoid as I imagine that this part of the body paint will get some damage. So I I mostly putting a spoiler to protect the paint in this area. So may be some of those cheap Chinese made could be sufficient. What do you think?
A spoiler would work and matte would probably be a good choice to not show fingerprints. Personally, I prefer to use the handles inside the trunk and not touch the outside at all, but the trunk was too hard to close that way, so I changed out the lift support struts to lighter ones: ua-cam.com/video/vy4-Zccl3bI/v-deo.html
Over $300 for a small spoiler is ridiculous. I would like one but the form and shape must be integral with my M3. I file this under nice to have but not a priority.
Do you remember this spoiler having a clear plastic wrap on it? I recently installed it on my model 3 and later realized some small bubbles on the finish.
The spoiler you got and painted in white, do you have another video showing details of it? I also have a white M3 and bought a RPM black one (glossy) that I got wrapped to make it matte black, but I always wanted it in white to match my car. So I'd be interested to see a video of yours.
Pretty easy really. I used pieces of blue painter's tape on the car as guides to get it just right. Mine didn't come with adhesive so I used a perimeter of this: amzn.to/2SRWLLZ
I wouldn't expect anything significant. Unplugged has some claims about theirs improving efficiency that seems well researched, but I can't vouch for any of it.
Yours is probably the sleekest/sexiest. A spoiler is literally the difference between the back/side of the car looking beautiful or looking like an ugly Mazda.
Thanks for putting this together. Still waiting for someone to make a version as close to Tesla’s as possible.
I don’t often leave comments on UA-cam. But a genuine thank you ! For this video.
Really like the looks of the cutout, might buy it
love #7, the cutout spoiler, but I wish I could find some affordable options for this style in real carbon fiber as opposed to ABS
where you able to find one ? I'm currently looking for a matte black one but all I can find is glossy CF
Awesome video
I love the one you have on

Great video and article. It really helped.
Thanks so much for this! I definitely like the one you went with.
Only issue is now finding it. eBay seems el be sold out. Is the amazon link the same one?
Yeah looks like they sold out recently. I'm sure they will be back soon. We might of had an impact on that. ;)
Wow! Superb video and purchase on your part. Really digging that ikon spoiler 🤔
Excellent overview. Thank you!

Anyone bought the #7 ? (Cutout) i'd like to see more pictures

Thanks for making this...helps allot
Thank's for this video bro is really usefull, I think i will buy the number 2 is really amazing
Awsome review, thank you!
How’s the 3M tape holding up since you last installed your spoiler? TIA
Still going strong

Thanks, great video!
Great review! Do you happen to know the lenght of the Ikon spoiler?
Thank you, well done.

I don't remember for sure. I had it painted so they may have removed one.
LivingTesla thanks! I see very small air bubbles and not sure if I should try to remove the clear plastic since the spoiler is already mounted.
What about the performance, have you seen any significant change in performance or range to the car. Or solely for aesthetic looks
No change that I could tell.

What kind of video are you interested in on it? I had a body shop paint it before I installed it.
@@EveryAmp I know your video shows the white spoiler right at the start but I'd like to see different angles to see if I like it. Thank you.
@@geek2330 You can also see more angles in the video at 2:31. They do have it up on Amazon finally as well with a few more photos: amzn.to/2PThbmw
Love the video! I'm thinking of picking up the ikon for my model 3. How was installation? Come with adhesive attached?
Pretty easy really. I used pieces of blue painter's tape on the car as guides to get it just right. Mine didn't come with adhesive so I used a perimeter of this: amzn.to/2SRWLLZ
up angle will no doubt hurt aero. It's an air brake that does nothing but burden the battery.
Dan Frederiksen this is not how a spoiler work though... good spoilers are air brakes. Now on the model 3 it can be different.
Does it makes any difference on the performance of the vehicle?
I wouldn't expect anything significant. Unplugged has some claims about theirs improving efficiency that seems well researched, but I can't vouch for any of it.
Top Video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊

👍👍👍
3:10 come on.. you paint carbon fiber
Spoiler Alert!
All are a ripoff …putting 3m shit on a $60k+ car is dumb but to each their own
Ha. I think you'd be surprised about what cars made from then. They're not precious metals.
