The birthplace of all things extreme, Chamonix, France, is one of the world's top spots for skydiving and BASE jumping. The Red Bull Air Force jets over to fly in the Alps, and some pilots stare down their own fears in search of the ultimate rush.
Miles Daisher and the Red Bull Air Force show what it takes to be part of the world’s most elite skydive team. Each episode dives deep into Miles and the other team members’ lives and how they plan each new BASE jump, wingsuit endeavor, or skydive.

I think Red Bull show get an award for advancing sports. In some ways more than any other organization. They've brought several sports from concept to reality and promoted others from obscurity to mainstream. I know it's a promotional thing but it's gone way beyond that in my opinion.
Clearanceman2 It’s certainly not beyond anything, it’s still just money gains for the industry. Why not to invest a lot in advancing the attractive sports, if suckers will recognize Red Bull drinks as a beverage for a real sportsmen. That’s no brainer. I would do the same if my interest would be only money without any concerns for consumers health of respect to nature. That’s the world we live in today.

Because of the number of deaths in Chamonix this year, they have banned wingsuiting for the next 6 months in Chamonix. It may be regulated even further after that.

I am Canadian. I need to fill free .where can I get started. Need good people to show the instructions .
You have to start skydiving first. A lot. Like hundreds of solo jumps.
If you want to do exactly this expect to spend thousands of dollars and the next 10 years of your life dedicated to training for this. It's a lot more than just putting on a suit and jumping off a cliff

I was thinking you could have a much bigger wing if you had poles secured to your forearms that would extend the wing out past your hands. Has this been tried before? Think kind of like crutches like that cripple character who does comedy in South Park has attached to his forearms, except the collapsible wing tips extend out to the ends of these poles...
From what I understand they use their hands to open the parachute, so yeah.
