Before I acquired my Etron GT I owned a Tesla Model S and have travelled to Spain via France multiple times. Have charged at many French Superchargers and without exception they are always next to comprehensive services. Some are at hotels but in all cases everything you need is always close at hand. I have found in Northern France you get caught by the toll when joining and leaving the toll road. As Tesla chargers tended to be not in services this did mean you got hit for more tolls. However further South the tolls are on the main carriageway so you don’t get the “double hits” if you exit to charge. The monthly pass for non Teslas is £10.99 but as Tesla tend to be the cheapest of them all it would possibly be well worth it to do a single month like the Ionity pass on a trip like yours. The Tesla pass reduces the price per kWh by around 10p on average so in a month you only need to use around 110kws (so maybe two decent charges) to “break even”.
bonjour,how insane trip,
Just done the trip in our Etron 50 - inspired by your videos and won’t be flying again. Nigel 👍
The new Q850 (same battery as my 55) or the original one?
