I always loved the Pickles Little Amazons ep as a kid because I was a girlscout . I didn't get all the jokes until much later and recently had an epiphany: The plot is a take on the 80s film Troop Beverly Hills. In it, the rich urban LA girls are derided for not being real Girl Scouts (enjoying shopping, fashion, and teen magazines) compared to the millitant (eating squirrel meat, sleeping on rocks, strict interpretation of the guidebook) villains. Here, surviving in the urban jungle (reading gang tags, hunting for buffalo wings, and hitch hiking with truckers) saved the troops. Plus, none of the skills Pristine and her girls learned for the jamboree would ever be useful for camping. Glamping but not camping. Honestly, Pickles episodes always knock it out of the park. I hope there's a compilation of Bob and Pickles' romantic moments. I love the flashbacks showing them meeting and falling in love on the beach.
Wow, I had honestly never heard of that movie before, but that makes a lot of sense! I might make a Bob and Pickles vieo some time later, I feel like it'd be too close to this one if it comes next. :) If you want a fun cartoon that is almost completely centered on girl scouting, I'd recommend The Mighty B!
I love her! Like you said she's a free spirit, confident and a badass, but she is definitely NOT a good mother. Though she tries and does love her kids.

How come whenever there’s a husband named Bob that’s in an adult cartoon he usually has a great relationship with his wife? Think of it with Bob’s Burgers we have Bob and Linda and with The Oblongs we have Bob and Pickles it’s also the like a pattern if you think of it.
That makes a lot of sense because I'm 95% sure he is voiced by the same guy as Stimpy, Billy West. He plays basically every male side-character in this show, kinda like how he played basically every character in Futrurama and Ren and Stimpy.
