I think the fact that Spectre is bound to a human host would cause him to hold back in a fight in order to preserve life in the universe. LT has no such limitations.
I don't know marvel's cosmology nearly as much as Dc's so I can't judge. I just know if he doesn't have a host, he turned a outerversal character into a rat( phantom Stranger). He also turned a 5d into a pen. This imp had nearly the power of mxy who can destroy infinite multiverses. But I don't know all TLT feats so idk.

I love how The Living Tribunal's faces are "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." That makes me think of why and how he's so disconcerted with all the events of "lesser" beings. He only cares about the Multiverse and balance.
But he a Bad guy
Living Tribunal might be more powerful.
While the Spectre may or may not use a host, and may be mildly influenced by the host; the Living Tribunal does not budge from his motives since he cannot be influenced by a host.
As such, his ability is more undiluted in it's power.

I don't know Marvel scaling like that but I'm pretty sure unbound spectre would be a better fight since he turned a 5d imp near Mxys power and he was a threat to destroy infinite multiverses at once. Or the 90s spectre run we're he was battling outerversal characters. But idk Marvel scaling like I do DC so who knows.
Living tribunal has another aspect called "Death of Death" which judge's the abstract of Mistress Death on whether or not he should erase the concept of death from the Multiverse or not.

Adam Vagus only in HOTU and potentially that alternate future timeline in which case he only got abstract level because he stole nearly all of that power + the god quarry

That was probably the case 5 years ago. Now LT is the sam jobber like spectre and gets trashed just to make other charakters seem stronger like the beyonders, thanos or even Master Order and Chaos (total PIS). Even TOAA is a jobber now and got beaten by Thanos (even more PIS). In the respective roles both should be equal and only surpassed by the Gods of their megaverse and maybe the archangels

DC scales far above marvel when comparing the abstract entities
Arbiter and Chara Dreemurr Spectre has gotten whooped so many times already, even in the comics he was more powerful. Like the other guy said, DC might have some stronger higher beings, but many times they’re beaten in some way by main villains/hero. On Marvel it’s a big deal to take one of the big guys down.

Yep. My favorite crossover story would be The Justice League vs Galactus. How could they stop him without the Ultimate Nullifier. You'd need to bring in Dr. Fate and Zatanna to try to counter his immense cosmic power abilities.

Technically the beyonders had to be three to defeat the tribunal. So one beyonder is not good enough to defeat the living tribunal. And as individuals not collectively they are not as close to god as the tribunals.

And you do know there is a scene the tribunal alongside eternity stripping the og beyonder of his nigh omnipotency to all realms but the beyonder's? Pretty sure this shows who is above who. And the original beyonder never faced the tribunal as far as I know. But even if he did the original beyonder and molecule man were described as the mightiest beings in all existence. So the og beyonder was equal to perhaps god. And molecule man was not far behind.

I don't even think it's close. LT by far. Specter regularly gets stymied by just regular villains and plots. LT is beyond such things. Even Eternity has to bow down to LT. I don't think Specter is even on Eternity's level.

I agree the marvel universe in general is just too ridiculously powerful and unrealistic...In Dc the characters are more grounded and real and most characters struggle with a weakness..I had to stop reading marvel cuz theres waaayy too much focus on creating Op versions of the core characters like Thor,hulk,surfer,dr strange,and sentry that are invincible

I think you missed the panel after the "bat-kick", where Spectre said he let him connect to make him feel better :)
Spectre actually isn't the embodiment of wrath, he's the embodiment of the Presence's desire for justice. Presence all out told Spectre that when he was talking to him and Phantom Stranger.
But yeah, the actual Living Tribunal would most definitely wreck here. Just a single M-Body should suffice. Spectre can be as proficient in magic as he wants... LT don't care. Magic doesn't effect him and he shuts it down with a wave.
micah fuller shut down the infinity gauntlets power with snap of his fingers too.
One Magic does work of The Living Tribunal even Dr.strange stop him for a few minutes.
@@gabrielhughes8221 It can slow him down but it will never kill him. Dr.Strange usually uses the abilities of Spectre level characters anyways. Like the Chains of Cytorakk (however it is spelt) and the Eye of Agamotto (don't know how to spell that either).

@@EndravenMusicChannel LT pretty much laughed at Strange when he was using magic. He only amused him for a minute and then effortlessly broke the spell. One of LT's notable abilities is controlling and shutting down magic.

Either way theyre both middle men
While the Spectre was able to create the nexus of all realities, The Living Tribunal can create realities, destroy realities, judge realities, and replace realities. He can also judge the entire multiverse and end all and restart it if he chooses to.
Living Tribunal would win because his massive beef and two roast veg span all of eternity, time and space.
Both equal
Both are powered by the one above all and the presence.
Toaa is more powerful but he doesn't give said power to Lt

They live in different hierarchy.
Specter has appeared in more then 60 times in comics and got beaten up more then 25 times with even planetary charat while LT is defeated only 3-4 times with beyonder and op thanos. The thing is specter has to fight physically in every battle and he struggle to do things while LT appear wave his hand the job is done then disappear.

That's like the same weakness or downside to some reality bender/warpers powers, unlike Franklin Richards, he can't create matter or life from anything but pre-existing, which is why his brother's death was required. It's never stated in the comics anywhere that he is Omnipotent lol Perpetua would have fun with him.

I can see spectre beating galactus, but not the living tribunal. One above all(the writer?) is number 1, TLT number 2, beyonder was said to be on the same level as OAA and he easily destroyed the living tribunal, but that does not mean TLT is weak, just that the power gap from 1 to 2 is insane

I feel like if Spectre connects to the Logos he can wipe out Tribunal, granted in a close call. From what I understood from the the story which it happened Logos was something that transcended the source of all creation it self.

I definitely have to agree on this one! I honestly believe that The Living Tribunal would wreck the Anti Monitor himself. A character like LT can just do things of a vastly high scale on a whim; no plans, no warning, no heroes teaming up...none of that would even matter if LT decided to end the marvel multiverse. Can either Spectre or Anti Monitor say the same?
ReeceHoward06 exactly there was only one thing that beat the LT and it was 3 of the most powerful of a race of beings that were wiping out universe at such a more significant rate than the Anti Monitor.

lamelama22 um no they weren’t lol. They were defeated by a combination of molecule man and Doom transferring all of their combined power into Doom. When the heroes tried to launch their offensive on the Beyonders which weren’t the most powerful ones they died (Thor, Hyperion, Starbrand etc.) and the only reason doom lost wasn’t because he wasn’t the ultimate being at that point, but because Mr fantastic convinced molecule man to take away the power.

@@lamelama22 Nah, not in the same conventional way at all. The Beyonders killed everyone that stood before them. Molecule Man at his peak is on par with the most powerful beings, he's far from an ant in the grand scheme of things. Also, wasn't it stated that he was the Beyonders' experiment or weapon, something like that?(my memory is foggy)
I think the living tribunal wouldn't just wave his hand and the spectre would just die. But i do think the living tribunal is going to win at the end. Can you do the living tribunal VS perpetua?

The thing about this marchup is the Tribunal is Consistently written to be Hyperversal and Nigh omnipotent , while the Spectre has had many, many changes in power over multiple retcons, and has sometimes been Significantly weaker, with its power also fluctuating with its human host. Its been well beneath multiversal levels on some comics. Like street level weak. So The only way this is even a Debate is if your doing Spectre on His best day vs Tribunal on its Worst
Even on his worst day The Living Tribunal has only jobbed to exceedingly powerful cosmic beings.

Spectre’s had a lot more losses than the Living Tribunal. LT’s only lost in two cases. One was against the Ivory Kings, where it took three high-multiversal beings ganging up on him to bring him down. The other was against Thanos with the Heart of the Universe, which added LT’s power as well as the rest of the multiverse’s to his own. Spectre has a wide array of weaknesses and has been just flat out overpowered on numerous occasions

I've always found it a bit "on the nose" when uber powerful / galactical sized beings are drawn with muscled up bodies. I've always seen it as more likely that such a being of "ability" would most likely curate itself as a small child or a frail old man/women. Given if someone is so capable of strength then you'd imagine they'd have no need to be seen as muscled up and instead something less... assuming.
Or they are being presented in the eyes of a human being like Galactus and we project as to what we as human beings as the image of super beings.

As such, his powers are dependent on whether he is in alignment with G-d's will.
So, if the Spectre is carrying out G-d's will in fighting the Living Tribunal, then the Spectre will win. If he isn't, then the Living Tribunal wins.
