That's a hard HARD CAREER. I admire your dad. I knew a guy who drove a truck just in southern coastal Alabama and that was hell on him but he loved it too. CDL license is the tip of the iceberg, and p.o.'s (cops) sometimes pull em over just cuz they have to. That "paperwork" can take 3 hours sometimes if the cop wants to get very thorough (from my old friend telling me this only). But there's more reasons I admire truck drivers; and they are so underrated! We really should give props to truck drivers much more often then we do- or at least recognize them. They bring our groceries + products and clothing to us (no discrimination) from high end retail & Walmart chains. Drivers often have to sleep on the side of the road sometimes and take showers in gas stations truck stops. NTM eat unhealthy fast foods. Not see their kids and families for many many days! They go through so much they really do. Tell your dad a YT weirdo 😂 said thank you for what he does.

I stayed because of the “spirited man.”
Dude! Honestly one of the most sincere moments I have watched on any visual media.
It's very rare for people to share how they truly feel and just be damn grateful for the world we live in. The small mercies we have around us. Eye-opening for me who lives in a space of constant dissatisfaction.
You are a true genius in the way that you convey emotion.
You ARE an artist!
Thank you! Thank you!
Real men cry, real men feel emotions, real men have a heart and a real man should not be afraid or shunned if he shows all his great qualities. Keep up the great work. It is inspiring to many.
My father is a truck driver too. Thank you for appreciating truck drivers!
When I feel nothing can get better than this video, Van comes up with a new masterpiece.
Never thought a truck honk could make me so emotional, but here we are.
lets go VAN you inspire a lot of people including me. i know you wont read this but you helped me a lot in this troubling times, thank you.

Just incredible man! Really incredible!
Van, I don’t know what it is about your stories, but every one brings me to tears even if it’s not a highly emotional story. Thank you for making me feel with your art. I’m so happy to feel:
Your videos are a gift thank you Van 🙏🏾
Just discovered these videos, blown away by their simultaneous levels of simplicity and complexity. Puts most other UA-cam videos to shame, and makes every Tik Tok and Instagram bullshit post look utterly ridiculous. Thank you for your time, effort and insights. Over time, your videos will have far greater positive impact on the world than you can imagine, and with any luck they'll counteract some of the damage done by the mainstream media and other forms of entertainment.
Keep up the great work Van! Look forward to every episode!
And I cried when the truck driver honked. Wow. I will be looking at our world differently now. Thank you.
Once again.....great video....some of the best storytelling on the internet
I’m glad to be able to see an true artist being honest and vulnerable in front of the camera. Thanks for bringing it to light. It is a beacon to us
I send my gratitude to the Spirited Man who creates spirited art on the only worthy spirited channel.
I held out as long as I could, but that truck driver's honk at the banner made me melt like ice cream in the sun. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you Van. You’re an actual artist!
Thank you Van for being this honest. For the inspiration and your feelings.
Reminds me of a quote:
“In the past, jobs were about muscles, now they’re about brains, but in the future they’ll be about the heart.”
- Minouche Shafik, Director of the London School of Economics
PS the hoody is already ordered
Tank you again and all the best from Germany
You deserve it. I mean you literally took UA-cam to a whole other level of creativity
ugly crying watching this. Beautiful. Your work is just beautiful. Thank you from Ireland. You have a beautiful soul xx
Powerful
You
I swear as soon as my financial situation gets better I will economically support your craft by gettin one of the sweatshirts and, if I can, I will support you in your Kickstarter. But, at this time the least I can do is that I don’t skip adds and I have watched every video you post.
I’ve learn so much from you spirited man. Saludos desde Mexico.
Van the man! Came here from Caseys channel. He was right; you have a very unique way of editing videos - they're unlike any other i've seen on YT. Look forward to more. Sending you good vibes and positive energy
That feeling of gratitude at the end, that's where I cried a little!
These videos have given some new life on UA-cam.... Thanks for giving us more spirit, we need more of this.
Van has the most honest channel on UA-cam, and he’s gotten me to take the time to read books again.
And a story about one's determination to never give up brings me to tears.
Gratitude something I feel all Americans have forgotten. This Spirited Man reminded of it greatly.
Hey van ik this is an older video, just wanted to let you know how much of an inspirational impact you have made on myself a 19 year old man. You in my opinion are an archetypal storyteller artist and mentor to many. Thanks Van!
this made me cry. the only thank you powerful enough for me, as a reciever of much love is to share and spread love and to share my gifts and time with others. thank you van. thank you for helping me on my journey on being aand becoming a spirited man
I love narratives, but I really admired you speaking to the camera for this important message. I waited almost 3 weeks to watch this, waiting for quality time to tune in, and to my surprise found a deeper connection to this message far more than you can possibly know. Strange but very powerful feeling, so happy for your success.
Saw Casey’s video and landed here. I was always curious as to why we don’t see you in his vlogs but it’s so nice to see that you have your own channel. You both are different but have so many same elements. Your videos are so addictive. No shouting but gentlemanly! Love you man! They don’t make men like you anymore 😮 huge fan! Thank you for your videos! Waiting for more!
