Leaf mold cuts my high tunnel tomato season short each fall. Ordered some Quadris Top thinking I'd spray young plants before transplanting. Killed the growth point on every plant and they wouldn't even sucker out. Checked the label closer, whoops, right there in black and white, three weeks after transplant. Now I'm afraid to use it next season and I'm out $750.00 I keep zucchini alive from April till frost with neem oil, if you don't let it get too old it will completely kill powdery mildew.
Enjoyed the pumpkin video, they are how I found your channel and the reason for me subscribing.. Looking forward to many more .. !! I sent you a pm , please respond when you can ..
I know how you feel about not complaining, but it’s been rough in eastern North Carolina too!! A lot of our pumpkins that we have pulled have starting to rot faster than normal they can’t stand all this rain
@@jarradcollins1360 you can, a lot of people do, eventually you're going to end up with phytothera, it's kind of inevitable. But you could have that problem in a field that's never had pumpkins in it... In a perfect world you only want to plant pumpkins every 4 years on one field but that's not the case for most of us.
@@lowellyoder2222 no not really The thing I think is the most important, is focus on getting a really good thick cover crop established. Thanks for watching!
Adding: This has been the very worst year for my two vegetable gardens.(Midwest) And on top of it,,I replanted much of what i initially planted. Not sure what the trouble was even thinking about it now. Only thing that came up strong were volunteer cherry tomato plants Potatoes,,,not hardly enough to mess with trying to dig up,,,and on and on... Honestly thought i was really on top of it back in April getting many plants started in trays this year. Lot of plants,,,,but NO fruit,,,unfortunately

Great info! Do you do anything different besides a change up on herbicide in pumpkins after pumpkins?
