    HI, i am running 3 row planting as well. What's your rate on your drip tape? Do you regulate the psi? How tall are your beds? What fumigation do you use? WE are treating with switch after 2 weeks of planting and bravo 2 weeks later. What fertilizer do you use before bedding?

      I use standard .45 drip tape I run 20 psi to the field My beds are 6" tall I fumigate with Vapam I put out 1000 lbs/ac 8-16-24 preplant

      @@mariefradette7220 we run a funigant thru the drip tape to gas the soil and simi sterilize it preplant.

    We’re supposed to get 12k plugs the end of this month. My supplier hasn’t mentioned any trouble with the plugs, but makes me nervous with this being our first go at berries. Good luck with the bare roots, interested to see the process.

    How long are your rows? Its hard to tell in the video. I picked up some info from my local extension office. They have calculations that blackberries while in production require about one acre inch per week.

    May I ask you another question please?😬 Some of my mums are overrun with ants. Not army. Some red and other small ones. Could you recommend a pesticide please? Or how to go about killing them? Thank you, Sir.

      @southerntulip799 Ants are tough. About the only thing to do, would be sprinkle a ant bait between the pots on your Mum pad. I would just check your state's pesticide handbook.

    I'm curious how you sell mums. Wholesale, or roadside? Also, what do you expect you'll charge for retail. I'm new to mums - potted 200 this year and I'm not sure how I'll go about selling them.

      @kingrigidthedeplorable2720 we sell retail at our Farm stand primarily but we also wholesale some to other produce stands around. The price can vary widely and depends on your location, competition, etc.

    Thank you for talking about crown budding and how everything gets your mum fert. I would’ve been too scared to try that. I have a mum crop, first attempt, about 1500. Im thinking it’s going to be a challenge when I have some starting to bud and I read where you want to switch your fert from 22-5-16 (foliage) to 15-10-30 (bud). Am I overthinking this? I really appreciate your videos and help.

      @southerntulip799 once you have flowers starting to Crack (show color) I start running plain water. As far as when to run, which fertilize, I've tried several different things and not really noticed a whole lot of difference. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

    Ok, questions sir. I measured and have my rectangle all ready to go for batter boards tomorrow. How did you assure your strings were the same height on both sides? Did you use a transit? My pad isn’t perfectly level, so I want to make sure I do the batter boards correctly and not be same height at top of sides.

    During your week~ of overhead irrigation after transplanting, do you drip irrigate also? Or do you wait until after you’re done watering in with overhead. Thanks in advance, you do a great job! Really appreciate the helpful videos

      @austinhirsch9286 no I don't drip during that time, just run sprinklers to establish the plants and help avoid transpiration during our hot fall weather.

    Hi, hope everything works out well with the storm. I have 5 rows of tomatoes 50 feet long that I need to fertilize. I have one of those Chemilizers, but I have never used it. I am going to try to fertilize my tomatoes with the Chemilizer tomorrow. I have a bag of 20-20-20 soluble fertilizer, but I am not sure how much to mix in 5 gal bucket. How often should I fertilize? The plants are good size and starting to produce fruit.

      @rogerhall2123 if it's a 1:100 injector, I'd run 1 lb / gallon of solution and run it every day that'll give you 200 ppm nitrogen.

      @chadmullen3032 my pressure guage broke a long time ago, (because I kept it pegged out) over 100 psi. So I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but I run all the pressure I can get.

    Hello sir, do you have any advice for my situation. I live in central Kentucky and i got 150 seascape strawberries. In spring, they were big and juicy, now they are tiny and unsweet. Irrigation and fertility are there but im just cutting runners. Any advice is appreciated.

      @Stoicismisourgreatestteacher if you pick strawberries for 4-6 weeks, that's about as good of a crop as you can ask for. It's time for them to be done

      @CherryHillFarm help me understand please. I thought everbearing was supposed to give you a crop thru the whole season, vs getting June bearing for a big crop. I only get about 6 weeks of production with seascape then i rip it?

      @calebboulds There's as many different growth regulators as there are fungicides. I'm using B9 on these mums and I sucker all tomatoes.

    Coons are destructive, I have an off and on problem with them. But when it's on it's gone! Done alot of trapping and running dogs and even got hot wire but they'll travel miles. What size drip tape do you lay under plastic? I've run into a quality issue where mine isn't lasting 6 weeks and you're already fixing holes.
