Well, John Wall put up 22/9/6 and 28/6/4/3/2 in his first games back in 730 days lol. Then harden started sabotaging. Wall also locked down Fox in those games. After harden was traded, and even with a minutes restriction, Wall led the rockets to wins in the next 6 games he played without harden. He was putting up like 24 and 5 in 24 minutes, 18 and 9 in like 19 minutes. 22 and 8 in 27 minutes. Was shooting 40 from 3. Then wood goes down, as does anyone else on the team with nba talent and show as a legit nba player that would have got minutes on a legit team. But Wall kept grinding. While the team had no shot to win games, Wall was balling and it was so overlooked. After Harden was traded he averaged around 24 a game with 8 assists. And he looked great before the ASG break when he started to pile on the injuries such as the grade 2 hamstring strain he played through. There were so many stretches during the losing streak where Wall would single handedly lead a 8-0 run or something like that to get the rockets somehow back within the game, only to be taken out for the next 6 minutes to for minutes restriction. And remember, a LOT of these gmaes he was starting next to Sterling Brown, jeashaun tate and Justin Patton. Also, Wall has always been best playing with a big who can finish his elite interior passing. He truly made Gortat look even better than Steve Nash made him look. He turned that guy into a someone. And Beal? Beal was a 40 percent shooter from deep with Wall. He’s been 30-35 without him. There are some crazy numbers out there about walls impact on his teammates 3 point shooting. He is one of the best 3 point assist men ever. Espeicallt corner 3s. I remember a couple things like when Wall to ariza led the league in player to player corner 3 assists, and then Wall to Beal and Wall to Webster were also in the top 7 of the whole league lol! He was also top 5 in 3 pointer assists over the last 5 seasons entering the 2020 season. And that was with him missing over half the games played!!! Lololol. He’s legit still so much better than people, casual fans, admit. There is a reason he is all time great in terms of his performance and production, but people just have no clue cuz he’s always been dissed so hard and has never had anthrint close to a legit team around him
