    I’m a new coach at CCS in Spokane Wa. We have a squad and A LOT of talent on the bump. Due to our budget we don’t have a pitching coach right now.
    I played infield in college but don’t feel knowledgeable enough to coach our guys effectively. Could you help me understand how your brain works as a pitcher and how you go about attacking the zone against hitters?

    Great stuff as always. Post game routine after pitching. From the time you are pulled from the game to the time you leave the stadium. Also, what about two way players? Go from pitching to playing the field in the same game (HS level).

      @@A.B.421 look, I’m not going to argue with you because I don’t know you and “ if doing a couple of searches as you say” hasn’t made you change your mind my opinion won’t be the exception. It is obvious that due to the situation that is going on no team will comment on it. Even Trevor and Rachel has remained on the sidelines. He is a great pitcher who has a lot to offer whether he continues with the dodgers or not.

    Info on your recovery would be super helpful to younger pitchers. Traditional knowledge is just “ice, ibuprofen, and rest” and something about that just feels very off. Do you do anything special post-game or the day after to deal with soreness? What kind of exercises should you do to stay active while recovering/“resting”
