Well the general cost of living doesn't seem to be a problem. Leisure travel is at an all time high. 🤔
What a bizarre perspective. People save and Budget for trips. During the dust bowl/ depression the largest migration in history took place. We don't have to stay locked in our houses just because food costs 400% more.

Yep, never had it and not gonna fly for several reasons, that being one of them.
I got Covid last year from flying as well!!! 😡😡😡😡
My wife tested positive for three days after flying, and she is fully vaccinated.
Flying is risky.
Who ever can afford flight tickets most certainly doing better. But for who cannot afford a summer vacation, life just getting worse.
The competition for hotel rooms, air b&B's, car rentals, and passes for things like national park entrance reservations is stiff. Seems to me the majority of people complaining about inflation must have plenty of money to reserve flights, rooms, and leisure travel miscellaneous items despite the high prices because a lot of those are full and impossible to get. I know some people are truly struggling but for sure a lot of other people just like to find time to complain (apparently in between vacations). Btw, not accusing you specifically of anything I typed. I'm actually glad to be staying home over the holiday - too many people traveling for it to be fun, IMO.
We should boycott and not travel.
