    " If you cannot feel your emotion, if you are cut off from them, you will eventually experience them on a purely physical level, as a physical problem symptom " ~ Eckhart Tolle in the Practicing book "Power Of Now " The world -class spiritual teacher is also this days may best psychologist doctor as well as an amazing Michael A. Singer ! I highly recommend them to every one 😊 (....)

    Thank you both!
    Pharma will never allow this to become mainstream😢

      They are working on AI run programs and economic structures being implemented that will be cashless, token and merit based and traded on the stock market in social impact bonds, etc. The stakeholders behind pharma are architects in this coming digital, cashless system. They are just switching to a one world, digital, surveillance platform. This kind of work lends itself well to this emerging paradigm. That's why there are psychology platforms where people interact with AI, including the curable app, sprouting up. It's the way the world is going and the nature of money is completely changing.

    Great story. Congrats on your recovery. Your story really highlighted all the different components of recovery. Also beautiful to hear that your life is a lot better now. I keep telling myself that there’s something awesome on the other side of it.

    Such an amazing testimonial and the discussion at the end. Doctors need to understand this and inform their patients. It would save people so much time/ money and pain in doing so. Agree that in western culture we don’t think the answer is ourselves that needs to do the healing. 🙏

    I swear, I think the testimonials are more important to me than any other videos, except the somatic meditations.

    I found a great psychoanalyst, they so work a lot with the body mind connection... she told me "your body is fine, you are just scared of your anger and afraid to say no." I did not want to believe her, I started getting better when I dived into TMS and started to realize that she was right all the time.

    I have listened to this video exchange many, many times. It has helped me tremendously to not give up, to hang in…. To keep implementing what I know to be true…. There is nothing wrong with me. Eventually my brain /amygdala will get the message and stop sending out pain signals. I stay calm… I make the emotional connections and in time, the sensations will fade. Thank you for sharing this very powerful and inspiring story. You have helped me and many others.

    After listening to this I was inspired to play African drumming to get my fire up and dance - challenging my symptoms! So easy to collapse into fear and sadness. Felt so good! Happy for you Maury and Jim, so grateful for you. (Peggy)

    Very Impressive Story, thanks for Sharing. Can agree 100%, also the perception of classical medical world. I am working with these techniques for some months now. It started to get better around 3 weeks ago. The main reason was, that I started to believe 100% that it comes from my brain. And your video, @Jim, helped me where you to hear the pain knocking at the door and not let it in. Thanks a lot!!!

    Is there a video of how to let go or surrender? I have made some improvement in my pain but I have levelled off.

    Would love to hear more about “imaginal aggression” you mentioned… is that just visualizing getting mad and yelling at the person you might still feel anger towards?? Thx

    • @thepainpt
      @thepainpt  11 місяців тому +6

      Yes, essentially that’s it acting out your anger privately as if you were doing it in person through words and potentially physical aggression in your mind. I teach this and practice this in my sessions when I work with people.

      It's very effective! I did a session once regarding anger toward my mother from very early childhood trauma and fear of dogs from a traumatic dog bite the year before resolved instantly! I wasn't even working with that issue when I did this exercise. Have no idea how that happened, but clearly the same neural circuits that were connected to my repressed anger toward my mom were being used by my brain to create a fear of dogs. All I know is I am so grateful because I LOVE dogs and had never been afraid of them before. The mind is an amazing thing.

    Is it a good tactic to focus on your possible emotional triggers and state of mind when there is a sudden spike in symptoms, given that it's almost impossible to remain calm and indifferent or to think of something else ('positive distraction') when the pain is really through the roof? What say Jim and his guest?
