It's so good to have Kristof as a referee for this category. Loopstation is getting so complicated at this point that you need someone like him to ensure that everything performed is legitimate, that everything is on an even playing field, and to help with decisions like Raje's preset mixup.

I gotta say, of all 8 members of the loop category this year, Duncan's the one who impressed me the most.
Raje did great too of course, and I knew he'd win against _anyone_ due to his technique being novelty, but I feel like Duncan showed more versatility.

Was looking forward to this one, Raje's rounds were probably my favourite part of the Loopstation competition when attending. They hit so hard live and the crowd loved them

If Duncan didn’t mess up his first rounds rapping, he probably would’ve scored higher with Bizkit and with raje’s human error mistake he would’ve won and moved to semi’s. It just goes to show that these battles can really go anywhere

Raje was simply the surprise of GBB24 Loopstation category, I think the secret is in his big water bottle, but anyway the battle was more than great, and the point I liked was that the video contained human error so that the viewers could understand why the winner was qualified, it was a good point and I noticed it before entering the video when I saw that it was 20 minutes long, thank you Swissbeatbox.
Both Raje & Duncan brought their A-game to the competition. I really like how Duncan plays a sample before a drop while Raje focuses on steady energy. This was the highlight of the stream for me :)

I don't really know about these preset things. It seems wrong to me. Feels like they are coming to stage with prewritten songs with little to no live looping. Maybe I'm just not informed enough about that.

GBB isn’t a competition where you are just supposed to improvise live on stage, everyone in the competition has their own presets.
So to explain, basically since looping started people used "presets" They basically just save the parameters of your FX. But actually executing the track is all done live here! It's like if you wrote a cake recipe before the event, and followed it during the event. In more recent years more sequencers have been used, but it's the same concept as in the past!
That was a good way to deal with the wrong preset situation, it punished Raje for his human error while not giving Duncan so much of an advantage that he automatically wins. Now its hard to say how much minus points Raje got because there isnt a straight point system but im sure it went down fair ^^
