My guy your story with the intake manifold literally happened to me as well. Just bought the car, mis fires, got the manifold replaced and never had a check engine light on since
For anyone wondering, kids will definitely fit in the back seat. That said, my eldest is 5’5-5’6 and her head rubs the roof when going over speed bumps which makes me nervous.
I bought the base model because I figured why pay for equipment that would likely be removed or replaced. It came with the 3.55 gears. I've replaced the rotors with power stops slotted and drilled. BMR 762r and 051 kits, Barton Hybrid 3,C and L rear shocks,Ford performance axles,JLT Oil separator,C and L Race CAI, and tune,,Aerocatch hood pins,.. next is the Ben Calimer stage 2 transmission with a RST McLeod and flywheel....next year oil pump gears, long tubes and procharger.
Bloody hell mate you talk fast, but glad I can keep up. Love this car to bits. I got the Borla ATAK 3' as well with the Borla Mufflers. I swear its getting quieter. I've had it for probably two weeks now. Yours sounds bloody amazing, guess thats the muffler delete.
Everything you've said applies to my 2016 GT...one thing I did that constantly gets me questions at meets.. What exhaust you got bro? It has zero rasp ,drone and a deeper tone..I used a 1 inch hole saw and drilled a hole in the exhaust approximately 2inches behind the muffler on each side the tone blends perfectly with the open element cone air filter and I've heard it compared to a pushrod Foxbody with flowmaster and once this guy said it sounded like a 70 boss 302... I'm just happy I tried it with the holes..lol...I figured I was going to do a axleback but after the results I got... it's perfect exhaust tone.
I’ve never even got close to losing control of my 2018 gt premium. You really have to doing something dumb to reck one of these! My last car was a 95 mustang gt 5.0, it had half the horsepower yet was way more dangerous. I love my new coyote, and the only way your gonna ruin your mt82 manual transmission, is if your tracking the car all the time and or start breaking past the 700hp mark.
Thanks for the info on the MT82! Looking to buy a Mustang currently and was a bit worried about it. I'm just looking to daily it not track it so I'll be fine
@@wrckls535 My MT82 is on almost 70,000 miles and I don’t even need to swap the clutch yet, so I’d say it’s a fairly good transmission the main thing with manuals in general, is the more user error, the fast they’ll brake, or wear. If you plan to boost your car, maybe go with the 10 speed auto, but if you’re wanting a fun fast car and you enjoy driving manuals like me, Get it. I’ve actually beat a few stock 10 speeds as well. The manuals can keep up with the 10 speed if you’re fast at shifting. But it is true that if you got stock for stock, and 2 skilled drivers, the 10 speed would win. 10 speed always stays in the power-band, and they bunch outside their class on top end.
I have one JUST LIKE THIS. 2017, MANUAL, RUBY RED METALLIC, 62500 mes, except mine is a premium. I was waiting for an opportune time to replace my leaking brake master cylinder that I just RXd in the UPS, when I was on my way to work about 9 weeks ago. Sitting at a stop light downtown Greenville, SC. Engine stumbled, I could not maintain idle, and it stopped. Recranked, running rough, engine light flashing. Immediately pulled into parking lot to my right. Misfire cyls 4 AND 8. Diagnosis: cracked #4 piston. Washed ring, and valve seal 'pouring oil' into cylinder. Dealership said should call Ford about it. Called those dang losers 6 times. "We have no program for you, and thanks for being a Ford customer." As I type this, I am still waiting for a new engine. I had to (no lie) buy a 1990 Toyota Camry in order to get back and forth to work while I wait! I finally stopped driving my 1993 Z28 at 318K miles, so I am NOT ROUGH on a car. I bought it new. All of those 318K were mine. I wish I could go back in time and buy it all over again (AND IT HAD A T-56 TRANSMISSION)!
The lockout on these cars are from clutch over centering. And driver. If you practice letting the shifter go to center position before going to 3rd. You’ll have no issues.
I went with Barton short shift and mcloud twin disk clutch the car amazing never miss shift when I saw the old shifter setup I understand why it wasn’t precise at high rpm best choice I never made
Depends on how hard you drive it! Mine averages around 21 with highway and city driving but last time I made a long trip I was averaging over 27mpg. Driving it hard can get as low as 17-18

Super late response, but it's pretty common specifically for the 2017 year model. Glad it wasn't any bigger issues for you!
My 2017 GT going on 5 years been banging dem gears and have no problems
Love the color combo man! Bronze/gold wheels always look badass on red!
Appreciate it man!
@@grantgibbs_ yeah man!

What SHOULD you know before buying an S550? Get the GT in standard.

Cayden I don’t have a muffler delete, and the car actually had catless long tubes now, so i’ll probably end up making another video pretty soon
He talks fast because the coffee has a lot of caffeine here in the states.😆
I’ve got a 255/40/r19 in the front and 285/40/r19 in the back an it looks perfect and drives perfect
yup 2017 mustang gt I got that cylinder misfire. Been at the dealership for weeks now no parts bc of covid.

I love the red and gold color scheme
Appreciate the review, gonna pick up a premium package for a daily.
I have a 17 premium that I daily 50 miles and love it
I have a 2015 Roush RS3. It has Roush 3 way suspension. It’s lower than yours. I run 20x10 on rear with 305/30/20 on rear without any issues.

Bout to pop on a used 18 Gt standard with 25k. Super stoked. Next year we getting boosted.
Absolutely love this car 😍😍
Is the 2018 Mustang GT better than the 2017

I never had any issue with it, I guess some people don't know how to shift gears!
That rear diffuser...NICE... I have the base model GT too where did you find the diffuser?
Recorded horizontally:)
Sweet ride!
sweet. greetings from il
What about paint. Mine gets paint chips so easy. 2017 black gt with performance package
Mashallah your car looks beautiful
I'm glad you like it
Hey I know you don't have the mustang anymore. But, by any chance do you remember the the offset for those wheels?
Have you figured out why the mt82 locks out at high rpm? Is there a fix?
Great VIdeo Dude!
Garaged Daily Appreciate it man 🤟🏻❤️
What is your wheel offset?
Hey man you think 295 all around would work on stock suspension? I like that square wheel and tire setup.
Do u still have it ? How many miles now?
What rear diffuser is that, got a 2017 been looking around

6mt? Subbed. ✌️
Leisure town road. Were stationed at Travis?
Yeah I was, I'm out now though.
What’s the name of the lips and the skirts?
hows the transmission as of td
what is the price?
what about it's mpg?

what does lock you out mean?
It means when shifting fast high rpm it wont let you put it in gear. It helps getting MGW shifter.
Rear left quarter got hit.
Does Borla drone inside?
Not really, at least not as much as I was expecting. Even with catless longtubes my car doesnt drone in the cabin.
16 hours straight is wild lol lots of red bulls lol
Gonna cop a 2018 gt premium for 22k tomorrow
39k
Does this have an X or H pipe??
It's an X pipe. No muffler
I wish to have this mustang as my second car
It's a sweet ride man, you'll love it
@@grantgibbs_ Yeah I've been in a passenger seat of a Mustang and just being in it felt good. After that it became my dream car too
MT 82 is made in China.
You can literally just buy the Tremac transmission
"Not a bad daily..."
/looks at gas mileage
*ooof noises
/looks at ecoboost version while crying
LMAO YEAH OK. SAID NO ONE WHO OWNS A GT EVER 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
5.0 gets pretty good mileage tbh
I'll keep my V8
That's not high mileage.
