Your beach greenie is beautiful. I haven’t seen one like it before. Your purple gold gilding Thoth is intriguing to me. The quality and colors look really nice. 1986 is one of my favorite printings and I agree extra cool that it’s in a different language. Ugh am I going to regret not getting the newest one…. Love the extra cards
@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission pretty much the reason I’m not getting it is because it looks identical to the last German and French printing in 2008 I believe. Same backs same front. If the card stock was different then I would get it. They said this version had thicker cardstock. Mine German and French edition are thin slippy cardstock. They get better when they break in.
This is a great collection. I might have to keep an eye out for that one with new scans to compare it to the one I’ve got. I was fortunate enough to find the purple AGM version at my local secondhand bookshop.
What a beautiful collection 😍 I had originally wanted the gold box edition, but of course I couldn't find a reasonably priced one. Ended up with an 83 greenie and really happy with it! (btw the box for mine says Stamford CT in case you're still sorting out the boxes 😅) The one you have with multiple languages on the border is pretty cool 🖤 thanks for sharing all these lovely decks with us! ✨

Τhank you. This will be useful for my Facebook live presentation on the Thoth deck soon. I only have one deck though, but the gold edges version appeals. I have the same issue with pronunciation of this. I realised I pronounced "Crowley" incorrectly for years: it should sound like Crow the bird, not the ow as in how! I used to say Thoth with a long o, but after doing an ancient Greek course I learned that Θωθ is definitely a th sound and the ω (omega) is like the vowel in "talk." I mostly say it the 'wrong' way too! Never mind, I think it's fine either way.
Haha it’s funny, I vacillate on the pronunciation of Crowley myself. I usually say CROW-ley, as in crow, but I do find myself pronouncing it the other way at times, it’s all good really. 😊

I draw from different sources of meaning with the deck depending on the energy, the way the reading feels? I sometimes draw from Kabbalah references yes, it’s fascinating. ♥️
