Phineas and Ferb had an absolute banger of a theme song. I love listening to the extended version they released in their album
Absolute banger
THERE’S A 104 DAYS IN SUMMER VACATIONNNN
Almost every song on that show was a banger, i still bump squirrels in my pants every now and then
The peacemaker theme song iwas so fun
Such a great show.
can’t wait to come back to this CLASSIC video in 15 years
@our hero shut up
Epic
Fellow Nates combine. AN INSTANT CLASSIC
Factuals
It’s already an instant classic
Not having lyrics doesn’t always have to be a bad thing. The Gravity Falls and Amphibia theme songs are perfect examples of instrumentals that get stuck in my head way too much
Lol for me I couldn’t help but think of the X-files theme 🤣🤣🤣 that used to creep me out as a kid
@@EtherealEmpr3ss *Illuminati confirmed*
The Amphibia theme song sounded a lot better with lyrics if I’m being honest.
To be fair gravity falls’ theme has a lot of messages put into it that are there for a reason and to appeal to the fans as the show went on.
Well yeah like he stated in the video.. Breaking Bad, Always Sunny & Game of Thrones were bangers without lyrics
With Bojack I realized how good outro songs can be. It usually cuts at either a hilarious joke or some kind of terrible revelation that makes you need to click on the next episode. Like most everything else about the show it’s perfect
ELIJAH WOOD ?!!
@@asiangeeks3316 LMFAO STOP
Big Time Rush's theme is already great, but it's also really cool that the creation of that song is such an integral part of the pilot's plot. It makes the song feel more special, especially since they don't play the normal theme song during that first episode and you get to hear it for the first time when they perform it for the record company.
I also really like how Ned's Declassified's theme blends the pop punk band and main character explains their story intro so seamlessly.
A fellow Scott fellows fan I see
I forgot about those shows, but you're so right! These were some of my favorites as a teen, lol
YEESSS I'M SOO AGREE
BTR LESSSS GOOOO!
I also love how the opening “Ah ah ah-ah ahhh” is used to close episodes, and cut to commercial
Cowboy Bebop had such an iconic theme that you just can't help but jam to it everytime
3.. 2.. 1 let's jam!
Even thinking about those opening hits with the flashing images gets me hyped. Guess there's a reason they opened this video.
@@Samuel-th6fw doo doo doo doo doo doo
Gravity falls is an all timer in my book. It’s perfectly established the show as a mix of comedy and mystery, the music slaps, and the short clips they show of Dipper, Mabel and Stan perfectly establish their characters just by their facial expressions. It’s really impressive
The best part for me is when you watch with subtitles (I’m Brazilian and watch with English ones) and it has lyrics that spoil the principal thing about Gravity falls - it’s full of mistery.
HIMYM theme is so nostalgic. Makes me feel like I'm hanging out with old friends I've known for 15 years
YES I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY THIS
Iconic
i still hum it a lot of times.
bum bah bah ba-baah baaah
Yess
I didn’t like it at first but after watching more and more of the show it really fits so well
All I know is that Malcom in the Middle opening went inconceivably hard
hard agree
probably my favorite theme of all time tbh it fits the show and era so well
That's what happens when They Might Be Giants writes your theme song
full stop
It got me hype every time I heard it, it perfectly captures the essence of the show
Adventure Time had a simple, happy theme that is so iconic and some episodes had a differing versions of it.
I was about to mention that.
Even better is the ending theme to that show, everytime it starts playing I can’t help but watch another episode after
@@enbeats2762 I love 'come along with me. And the butterflies and bees...'
YASS
Succession theme is a total banger, the way it combines classical piano and hip hop type beat is so good... and really fit the tone of the show
EXACTLY
I haven't watched Teen Titans in such a long time, as soon as I heard the intro song, I screamed out the lyrics because it's just THAT memorable. "T-E-E-N T-I-T-A-N-S TEEN TITANS LET'S GO !!"
Also what about the Narcos intro song?
It's so good they even named the reboot after it
okay but the japanese version of the theme was always better, ngl
Always Sunny has downright weaponised it's intro into a joke of it's own. Gets me every time hearing the whimsical music while some horrific sentence like "Charlie has cancer" or "Mac and Charlie die" appears on screen.
For real, the show is really damn clever.
Very Curb Your Enthusiasm like
100% agree
One of the best comedies I've ever seen tbh, even if some of the episodes are a bit tasteless
@@gentlefires they're supposed to be tasteless, it means the writers did their job!
Best TV intro I've seen recently is Peacemaker, it's energetic and hilarious and the best part of an already good show
I watched some of your videos
Nah I checked it was only the megamind video
megamind man
Yeah I didn't even watch the show but I did watch the intro a bunch of times
SCHAF!!!! YES!!!!
how has The Boondocks' theme song not been mentioned?? I can never, ever skip it. Even when binge watching. Such a banger
Yeah thats exactly my thought🤣that theme was legendary
I liked the Netflix “Series of Unfortunate Events” theme. It was cool how one of the verses would change depending on which episode you were watching and it was the perfect length: not too short but also not crazy long.
Also loved the song at the end of season one
Plus it shows the vibe of the show SO WELL while still standing out as its own thing somewhat
YESSSSSSSSSS
The Succession Theme Song perfectly captures the theme of the show. Same thing with Severance on Apple TV. Both shows have a slower tempo version of the theme songs in some scenes and it works perfectly within the context of the scene.
Succession theme is da best!
Was looking for this comment it’s so good
succession deserved a mention😭
yesss!!! succession is the best theme song
succession goated
The Better Call Saul theme is also great, it changes slightly over the seasons and the song is just a bop
The theme is such a vibe and fits the tone and world of that show perfectly
It’s the same song as the Breaking Bad theme, just a different key. The distorted visuals every season is super cool, I agree. It adds to the story
@@KDBetter you explained yourself like shit, they dont even use the same sounds so no, its not the same 'song'
@@KDBetter is it really the same as the breaking bad theme? i never noticed that!
That’s so Raven, proud family, teen titans, and arcane have great timeless theme songs
Let's put some respect on the Mister Rogers theme. It set the mood, it was part of the actual show so you couldn't skip it, and the dude sung his own theme song. Legend.
As far as recent animated shows, Gravity Falls' intro was pretty amazing. I literally sing along with it every time even though it's just instrumental haha
Yeah, iconic theme song for a great show
So true, it even switches things up in the last few eps when some darker stuff happens
This is why the theme song to Community remains one of the best themes out there. Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, and The Office all had memorable instrumental themes, but Community had one from an actual band. Everytime I hear it, I get some nostalgia and it's genuinely a great song. They shorten it in some episodes, but they never got to a point where they kept shortening it. It was always there.
Malcolm in the Middle is also great too
Yes it's a shame that they shorten it but at least it was here.
Community is my all-time favourite TV show but I don't think the theme song is that good. I honestly think people love it so much simply because they associate it with the show. Cos when I first started it I hated it but it grew on me but I think I just liked it cos I was falling in love with the show
i'm probably in the minority but I think Community's theme is pretty mid compared to other sitcoms during the 2000s. It's a fine theme but isn't that memorable
OMG I WAS SEARCHING FOR A COMMENT SAYING THIS
I mean Communitys theme kinda sucks, but, the words do very much fit the show
I always liked how regular show started with a mundane and bored “Baahhhhhhh waaahhhhh…” noise or something and then after all the crazy otherworldly stuff occured it was an upbeat memorible outro to close the episode off. Like really the chemistry between its intro and outro is great keeping the episodes usual progression in context
Yes!! Ending themes are underated-I also love the extended Spongebob credits ending. Too bad they don’t use it anymore and even cut it out of earlier episodes or speed it up to save time, cause it’s such a chill vibe
I love the theme for the 80s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. Love it!!!
Speaking of which the '03(?) TMNT was catchy too.
I LOVE BEING A LOVE BEING A I LOVE BEING TURTLE
HEROES IN A HALF-SHELL, TURTLE POWER!!
The theme songs for Gravity Falls and Netflix's Dark are both really good aswell. Gravity Falls is just a banger with some fun hidden backwards messages in the ending of the theme. Plus the theme song completely changes during the Weirdmagedon episodes which is fun aswell.
Dark is also a really good theme song which starts off kinda slow but becomes really powerfull. It also just fits with the show perfectly. Plus the visuals are kinda random at the beginning of a season but start having more meaning at the end of each season.
Definitely check both of these out!
Dark WWWWW
Bro I don’t even know u but u have my respect for saying both gravity falls and dark
Yes, the Dark theme!
Dark is the GOAT
My favorite thing about the Teen Titans theme was that they had an English version and a Japanese version, and which one they used told you the tone of the episode. The Japanese theme was for more fun/silly episodes while the English one was for the more serious/dramatic ones.
I thought the Japanese version was for when they went to Tokyo
I remember I thought it was Spanish when I was a kid
@@nanabonsu2349 sameeeee
Anime openings really do slap…
Can’t believe Attack on Titan topped “My War”….but man….“The Rumbling” makes you want to stomp on the world too💀👏🏽
1st opening >
In all due fairness
AOT is so goated that even the endings slap😂
Hell yeah
As a kid, I was obsessed with the CatDog theme song. Despite not watching the show a whole lot at that time, I would play that song over and over and over again, in different languages as well.
Actually, I heard that the show was originally planned to be a series of two minute shorts that would play during commercial breaks, but when Nickelodeon heard the theme song, they liked it so much that they greenlit it for a full series. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, then it proves how much power a good theme song has.
Its short and sweet but I love the theme song for Adventure Time. I think the instrumental is like an analogy of the show, at first its simple and then it morphs into something more layered, but still maintains that goofy tone and delivers on the premise the lyrics of the theme and the title of the show promise.
the best part is that the intro with the fistbump became crucial for the ending of the show. I wasn't even an AT fan, but even I got teary eye when I watched the final with Finn and Jake doing a fistbump for the last time.
Succession's theme and intro has me OBSESSED. the instrumental is the kind to get stuck in ur head and the visuals in the intro reveal so much about the characters and their dynamics with each other... an all time favourite
Yes!!!!!!! This is it
SEASON 4 AND ITS INTRO LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
Low-key sad that he didn’t mention the theme that transcends the test of time
never skip the succession theme
The classical vibe mixed with 808's and hip hop is genius
the Ed Edd n Eddy theme song makes me so happy- it doesn’t have words, just the creator whistling for a minute, but it has the perfect vibe for that show
Peaky Blinders theme is the perfect intro... Changes every episode/season while staying the same and it kinda describes Tommy and the villains at the same time. Fire
*BARRY* has one of the hardest theme songs I’ve ever heard for a TV show and it’s only 3 seconds long.
Finally it's here. *YES*
*ua-cam.com/video/vn8WdvkmTGs/v-deo.html*
the way they use it for comedic or dramatic effect is the best part.
happy that someone else said this so I don’t need to. thank you.
+
B99 is SUCH a good intro like firstly, the clips of the characters perfectly match their personality and how they are like on the show. Secondly, the theme is GODLY like I never skip it. It only is like 20 seconds but it captures the essence of the show perfectly, playful with a bit of drama and showing a bit of seriousness at the start.
and "sing" along to it too
YES
I want anyone who's seen the 2003 TMNT series to look me in the eye and seriously try and tell me they never screamed "IT'S A SHELL OF A TOWWWWWWWWN" every time that absolute banger of a theme hit
I really like the Glee intro. How it's just chit chat gossip, that amazing instrumental song and That's What You Missed on Glee. Encapsulate specially season one perfectly.
The theme song for Peaky Blinders (“Red Right Hand”) is iconic. Once you hear that bell, you’re super hyped. Same with “Woke Up This Morning” for The Sopranos.
Yeah too bad they removed it for the later seasons
Smallville has a great theme song. Once you hear that "SOMEBODY SAAAAVE ME" it's a classic
🤧 classic
Not Nathan disappearing
"Helped by viewers like you" *fades into Arthur theme* just unlocked a memory from my PBS-watching days
THE BEN 10 INTRO DUDE
Ain't no way he forgot about that Banger 😭
Succession has one of the best intros right now. The music sounding really beautiful and just before it reaches a resolution they hit you with an off tune piano with a sick new theme, it perfectly captures the whole show better than any recap. Trying to get power or/and recognition and failing miserably again and again, every week, every season. It’s so satisfying and unsatisfying at the same time. Also it BANGS
100% agree. Was waiting for him to bring this up and was surprised when he didn’t.
I have the intro as my ringtone cause thats how much it slaps
Succession theme slaps so hard it was on the first places of my Spotify Wrapped lmaoo
the fact he didn't even mention it once in this video is criminal
Succession type beat being an option when typing in succession makes it goated
The Wire and having the same song "Way Down in the Hole" recorded by different artists in different ways for each season is perfect.
I loveeee the AHS theme song. It's scary, it's moody and sets the show up in a great way. The theme also changes every season so I love that. The 1984 version is my favorite
my boy did a whole video on intros and didn't mention ducktales
WOOOWWW! SO TRUE!
I love both versions of that theme! The chill classic and the epic modern
I never skip Bob's Burgers theme; it's just interesting enough watching the new intro every week to keep me there (even if I've watched all of it over and over).
i also am curious of what new shop has opened up next to bob burgers lol.
and whatever pesticide truck shows up. one of the many reason why that show has my heart
The Malcolm in the Middle theme is just fine. I sing along with it every time. It just suits the show perfectly "Life is unfair", like could this BE anymore Malcolm in the Middle-like?
its a banger man
The Netflix Daredevil theme is so good. It works so well the show.
Cowboy Bebop I think is without a doubt the greatest theme song of all time in that it reflects the tone, style, and atmosphere of the show perfectly while also just fitting in with the rest of the score AND being stupidly impressive AND being a banger *AND* being so good you can just put it on as music and people will probably like you because you just put on an amazing jazz song. Second place for me though is the Twin Peaks theme because it just soothes you right into its atmosphere like nothing else.
Other favs include:
- paranoia agent
- phineas and ferb
- adventure time
- erased
- foster’s home for imaginary friends
- serial experiments lain
- peacemaker
- both death note openings
- parasyte the maxim
- also the assault on the senses that is the smiling friends intro kills me every time
Right??
Samurai Champloo >
@@GameChanger-xi4iy gotta check that one out still sadly, seems like an incredible work of art though
@@MrTables Its theme song pretty much bought attention to emerging lo-fi hip hop and made it more mainstream, in terms to cultural impact Samurai Champloo's theme song ranks pretty highly.
smiling friends >>>
The BARRY intro is my favourite, it always comes up at an awkward point and the length sometimes varies. Top tier show with amazing characters, i've never seen anything like it.
Ramy gives off that vibe too
The Walking Dead theme song is so good, that I genuinely get scared whenever I hear it. The show isn’t even that scary, but I have to turn a light on or something for the intro.
Me too
Whoever did the Goosebumps theme probably don’t realize how fire it was.
One of the best examples is The Mandalorian, they use the flutes and the general sound of the theme here and there during the episodes, so when the outro hits at the suspenseful moment you just need more. TopGear aswell, when you just see the first frame, the soundtrack starts playing in your head and the nostalgia hits.
TONIGHT!
the mandalorian's soundtrack somehow lives up to John William's work which should have been impossible while still managing to do its own thing
Daredevil's opening is definitely iconic, the symbolism and grand score represents the feel and vibe of the show perfectly. 10/10 never skipped it
Shit is so fuckin long 😭
@@Llamaslam it's better than most TV intros. It's very simple yet so interesting I can't skip it
Ok toward the end of each season I started to just skip it it becomes a little tiring after a while
Punisher too
A Series of Unfortunate Events has an amazing theme imo. It has the main villain singing the theme, which actually fits because he is an “actor” and his accent changes based on what disguise he has in the episode. The song gets you in the mood with it trying to dissuade the viewer from watching due to it’s unfairness and it explains what will happen in the episode. It’s the kind of theme that is amazing even without watching the show, or maybe that part is just me. It makes you excited to watch and into the mood of the show. It is, I my opinion, one of the best intros out there.
You basically mentioned all the themes I was thinking about, when “that’s so raven” showed up, my next thought was proud family, whaddaya know?
Also the NGE theme is so damn iconic and it sticks to your head so long
The Pretty Little Liars theme song! Every time I hear it, I'm sent back to the 2010s , reliving the all the drama
! I’ve watched The Pierces music video for Secret so many times since that show came out
*_bojack horseman_* theme goated, there’s no discussion, your gonna tell me an instrumental can audibly project the inner workings of the anxiety and chaos of the mind of a cartoon horse? fine I’ll watch 6 seasons
fine i'll emotionally attach myself a little too much to these anthropomorphic characters and inevitably fall apart once it ends after years of obsessing over it 🙄
@@isapurcino r u ok
@@-Teague- sure 🥲
@@isapurcino sorry it got cancelled, I know the feeling from when Spectacular Spider-Man got axed it's not fun
@@-Teague- oh it’s okay it didn’t really get cancelled it just reached its natural conclusion, I was just really attached to it lol 😅 but I get you, so many good shows don’t get to finish on their own terms and don’t get a proper ending, it’s the worst 😭
so glad he included the teen titans clip, that was such a fun song and strong intro to the vibe of the show! as for more recent ones, i kept watching "flight attendant" (hbo) even when i got sick of the protag bc the 60s-style intro was so fun and different and made me think they might take the show in inventive new directions. also i always forget what the "downton abbey" theme sounds like (and it's been a few years since i watched it), but recently it came on the radio when they were doing a story about the new movie and i had this pavlovian response, just an instant sense of anticipation and blocking out external problems. so the intro song really is important to the show experience XD
MAD MEN. Such an iconic opening theme song, totally informs the viewer of the theme and vibe of the show, subtly hinting at the point of the storyline: the downfall of the corporate man.
I was looking for this comment, I 100% agree!
The original Degrassi theme song is ICONC. That first “whatever it takes” gets me everytime 😭
That song made me feel like I could do ANYTHING 😭😆
Yes I also CONC
Degrassi?! DEGRASSI?!!!
I KNOW I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH!!!
You HAD to scream that part!! 😂😂😂
"that 70's show" has the perfect song as its theme, and i always sing along to it

you are so real for mentioning the kim possible theme right up front. That song remains iconic
When I was a kid I loved some of those wierd shows like The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy, with regular show because this show can go from 1 to 100 really fast and honestly end up anywhere and you'll still love it.
The “Arthur” theme song with the “brought to you by viewers like you” ending was perfect! 🤣
“Thank you”
Crazy Ex Girlfriend is amazing and changed every season. The first season really captures the “telling the whole premise in one minute or less” AND was inspired by the ICONIC intro from The Nanny. 10/10 theme song
i was waiting for someone to mention crazy ex gf!!

SHES SO LONELY INSIIIIIDE
The way I was searching for this comment! Those intros are FLAWLESS
3 months no uploads i just know he's cooking up something crazy
TMNT 2012 was the last theme song that instantly got me hyped, need that energy back in these themes I swear.
Over the Garden Wall has my favourite intro of all time, it captures the eery yet nostalgic feel of the show instantly and again it's not too long or short. Absolutely love it!
Second OTGW. One of my favorite things ever, artistically speaking. It was originally supposed to be, like, twice as many episodes, but they pared it down so they could spend more money on the music and on those backgrounds. And to great effect!
@@dacelikethefish587 Oh wow I had no idea, that's so interesting! Definitely worth it in my opinion, the show didn't need more episodes and the music and atmosphere of the show are what makes it so exceptional!
@@dacelikethefish587 thanks for the behind-the-scenes scoop! you can definitely tell they put thought and effort into every part of that series, which i think is why it holds up so well upon re-watching.
The Sister Sister theme pretty much ticks all your boxes. Catchy, explains the origin story, and sung by the actors.
Also really glad you mentioned Bojack and Barry themes. Two of my faves. And can’t believe that iconic Pokémon theme was only used in the one season!
sister sister so iconic
I came here for this exact reply about the Sister, Sister theme song and I'm so happy I wasn't disappointed
Definitely "a series of fortunate event's" theme song. They literally said "look away look away this show will wreck your evening, and your whole life, and your day every single episode is nothing but dismay"😭 then Zoey 101 I loved singing that one
It’s Always Sunny is shockingly iconic too because it was quite litteraly just a copyright free song that they snatched off of a free music cd lol
The American Horror Story theme song is just legendary. The music is so eerie and in the first two seasons it was so creepy to watch itself + it made soo much sense to have a scary instrumental and then throw in some images and clips to hint at the season, because every single season is a new story and a different setting and everything. It wouldn't make sense to do a catchy intro. The instrumental is catchy enough and it's perfect.
I was also going to say this! so good
Definitely
Speaking of themes that tell the backstory I always thought Ben 10 and Phineas and Ferb had absolute bangers. Danny Phantom and Fairly Odd Parents too, memorized every word
It started when an alien device did what it did...
The Phineas and Ferb theme got me excited every time and the LEGO Ninjago theme that changed every season is one of the best I've ever heard
Better Call Saul theme deserves a mention, the theme is iconic and I love how the opening deteriorates throughout the seasons.
The X Files theme is pretty much forever linked to anything related to aliens, conspiracy, mystery... It's so iconic!
I remember in the early 90's, as a very young girl going to bed hearing this theme playing in the living room when my parents watched the series. The complete mystery surrounding this melody was driving me crazy! One day I asked to stay up only to watch this opening.
I love the X Files theme song !
That Attack on Titan season 4 theme goes way too hard. I’ve never been into metal or screamo anything, but I can’t help getting so hyped when that comes on
RUMBLING
@@AbdullahKhan-el6xw ITS SOOOOO SICK
Every theme ( even Red Swan) bangs. I do hope Linked Horizon returns for the final part though.
A recent intro that i never skipped was severance. The animation and music perfectly matched the unsettling energy of the show
Shout out to law and order SVU, they've had the same intro for about 50 years and it still holds up
the grip the hannah montana theme has on me even until this day, unparalleled. i'll be minding my business and all of a sudden it's just there, over 10 years later
The Nanny has a GREAT theme song! It explains the origin of the show ( which is actually a condensed summary version of the pilot. Like you don’t even need to watch the pilot if you just listen to the theme 😂). It’s catchy as hell and I think it’s really fun that the intro is animated for a live action show!
I think GOT intro song is underrated, yea its just an instrumental but it fits perfectly and I always find myself singing along to the strings
Side note: another classic from Dr. Zed. One of if not the best commentary UA-camr. Much love!
i love the energy of the "game of thrones" intro! it gives me a feeling of epic scale and vague historical/fantasy elements without being too over-the-top. have you watched "his dark materials" on hbo? it's definitely a fitting intro for the show, but it couldn't be a more blatant "game of thrones" ripoff if it tried DDXX
While technically not the "theme" of a TV show, the end credits track from *the 100*, titled "Crossing the Rubicon" is one of the few songs from TV I frequently relisten to. Those intense thumps really solidify any cool reveal or cliffhanger that would occur at the end of each weekly episode.
I know we aren't the biggest fandom, but the Doctor Who intro theme is probably my favourite TV theme of all time - It changes with each new era of the show while still having the same core melody that it had since 1963, which is a huge achievement.
I can’t believe I didn’t even think of that one!
You're right!
Yessss, duuuuuude
Lol half of the UK is made up of Doctor Who fans. We're a pretty huge fandom, we're just quiet.
Not the biggest fandom?? The dr who fandom had tumblr by a chokehold 😭
Dexter had one of the best intros ever. Short, catchy, and captivating enough to get you interested in the character and show as a whole.
Couldn't agree more!
Was just about to type the same, but had to make sure someone did that before me. Thank you.
Not really a fan of the intro tbh but I absolutely love the outro. It is a perfect audio representation of feeling trapped in the darkness
absolutely! my professor showed my english class the intro which inspired me to start watching the show!!
You cannot forget Steven Universe, they were writing the music for that show and it was just 'oops all bangers'
Invader Zim had an absolute banger too that I could never get out of my head.
Samurai Jack has one of the most iconic intros followed by a banger theme song
some kickass TV themes:
- NCIS
- Psych (the original was done by the creator's band, plus they'd switch it up and do cover versions for special episodes)
- Cyberchase (most PBS Kids themes smack)
- Teen Titans
- the first Jujutsu Kaisen opening
Yesss Psych had the BEST theme
Oh and that Naruto opening 7
Fucking yes that Psych theme is so goated. And the special episodes where they do remixes of the song? *chef’s kiss*
Mad Men has one of the most iconic TV intros. The intro’s visuals, symbolism, and score help represents the show’s themes and 1960s setting.
YES. So simple and elegant, gets me hyped every time.
Mad Men used a Portuguese Fado, (Portuguese blues). This a version by The great Amália Rodrigues ua-cam.com/video/89JbzIhIwlE/v-deo.html. It's in black and white but it's undeniable that is where the theme tune was taken from. I'm half Portuguese and have always listen to this traditional, (for Portugal) style of music. It's a mixture of sorrow and longing for loved ones mainly fishermen that are working away from their homeland.
facts, for me its twin peaks but MAD MEN, is amazing
Not technically created for the show, but Peacemaker has one of the best intros ever!! That shit gets me so pumped!!!
Broad City theme song perfectly matches the vibe of the show and always gets you hype to watch!! Plus of course, a classic: The X-Files
The X-files theme will forever live rent free in my mind. Never even finished the show but damn, that theme is iconic.
And after what I heard from seasons 10 and 11, I never will.
Just the theme used to scare me as a kid
Malcolm in the Middle! Sometimes I still catch myself singing "you're not the boss of me now" out of nowhere
The haunting of hill house intro actually got me hyped EVERY TIME and I wanted it to be longer
Yugioh!'s theme. That addition of instruments-to give it that "Egyptian vibe"-took it to another level.
Yaaaaasssssss
One that I havent seen mentioned here yet is the Futurama theme song. I always loved the theme and thought that it was just put together instrument by instrument by the show's music producer. I gained even more respect for it learning that it's composed of a bunch of chopped up and semi tone pitched samples from songs from the 60s and Rapper's Delight by Sugar Hill Gang. The music producer for the show straight up Kanye'd the shows theme and it went over a lot of our heads.
Screw that opening theme song, I’m gonna make my own opening theme song with blackjack and hookers and yknow what, forget the theme song!
yess Futurama was one of the first that came to mind for me!
The Powerpuff Girls theme song will always be my favourite. had some drum and bass to it. top tier. the end song they played at the end was good too. i'm talking about the OG series btw. i have no idea what the newer one sounds like haven't even considered if they got a new theme?
ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK had one of the most catchy intros of today.
The British show Hustle had a great theme especially in the early seasons. I also love the Wire's themes and how they keep the same song but switch up the genre with each season.
Yesss!!!
Hustle is so underrated
