Jasmine is completely justified in her fears about having more children. The same thing happened to me. My child's consultant told me the chances of future children having the same neurological brain disorder were 1,000/1. Needless to say my next child turned out to have an even more severe same neurological disorder. Now two of my children will never lead independent lives and I will always be their caregivers. That's fine, I love my kids but it's double the hard work, so Jasmine 's fears are totally valid. As for Sam's mother, ummm what does she thinks happens at a Muslim wedding? Me too. As a mother of special needs children, I'm immune to the states and double takes. I just pity them and their small minds. My children don't notice at all they are both in their own worlds. But I refuse to let the looks and whispers of ignorant human beings get me down. I am proud of my children and every single small milestone they accomplish. Sorry to trauma dump but I used to work at 6 flags and I saw a deaf kid struggling to understand the rules to the rigged games, so I asked a manager if I could give that kid a prize and pointed. My daughter also have special needs, but as she has gotten older, I care less about what other people think. She’s my child and she’s loved - period ❤. One of the nurses in the hospital told me that God only gave these special babies to the most special people 😊

As an adult who is an late diagnosed autistic, The way neurodivergent children and people in general are treated is a lot worse in public. People will always say they have no problem with disabled people but then continue their biases & treat them horribly. Not just Jasmine but anyone having a child, needs to realize that your child might come out disabled, and if you're someone who dislikes disabled people, you are better off not having children at all. This world is very hateful to people like us and there are times where I struggle being around people who hate me.
Im also a late diagnosed autistic person. My other siblings are mostly mentally sound I'm the last kid and I had the worst time growing up because my parents thought I was just being a bad kid. It wasn't until I was 17 that the possibility of me being autistic occured to them. 😅 I'm almost 20 now. Even my schools knew that I was neurospicy before I was ever evaluated/diagnosed
I was tested a lot because I was slow throughout elementary and middle school. It was tiring that I’m not kidding I wished I was smart so my family wouldn’t be embarrassed. When I try to explain it at the age of four that they don’t understand what that’s like, but they still did their best to help me out. They just suck emotionally but might be a cultural thing too

I never really comment on videos but the part where Jasmine opens up about her son really got me. I'm not a mother myself, but an older sibling who helped to raise my two younger siblings who are both on the spectrum. My 5 year old sibling is still very young and hasn't had to face judgement from others thankfully, but my 15 year old brother has. He's the most sweet, happy loving kid and I really had to step up for him after our mom passed, something no kids should ever have to go through. It'd break my heart everytime he'd tell me how kids bullied him at school or how even a couple teachers were mean to him and I'd want more than anything to constantly be there protecting him, but sometimes you can't and they just need your love Jasmine's struggle hits so close to home and she should never blame herself, as long as she gives her child the love and support he needs she is a good mom ❤
What a wonderful sister you are. I have two severely special needs children and thankfully they have never been bullied. 1. Because they go to Special needs school so all the children have special needs in one form of another and 2. They wouldn't even understand what bullying is, they are in their own worlds. I feel so much pain for your brother to have to go through that, I'm sure he's a really sweet, gentle hearted boy. I feel pain for you too, to see someone you love to through that must hurt you too. I feel bad for Clayton. I find it very strange that Anali suddenly finds him so repulsive. Yes he’s weird and needs to work on his social skills, but he hasn’t really hid his personality from Anali. It’s less that a lot of things turn her off, nothing about the boy turns her on! It was a poor decision to get engaged so quickly, especially when they’re long distance and don’t spend lots of time together, but if in years of being engaged you still don’t know much about your fiancé and haven’t taken the lead to do so, then it is both of their faults. Anali hates being accused of just wanting a green card, but the more I see them together, it just feels like she never took Clayton seriously, and only cared about her idea of him. It’s easy to pick on Clayton for not being “cool” or”man” enough for Anali, when he is well above average compared to the rest of the men on this show. He speaks her language, and does put the effort into trips, dinners and hotels when she said she needed space. Anali by no means needs to have sex if she’s uncomfortable, but she avoids all physical contact. Most of the times Anali smiles at him she’s just making fun of him. Clayton is not perfect by far, and I can understand some of Anali’s frustrations, but who would ever see a picture of Clayton, have a conversation with Clayton, MEET Clayton, and then assume they were about to get married to some confident, macho, leader? He is who he is, and there was never a facade that she didn’t help create. Even if he can be blamed for not being fully honest about his mother, or not being a good roommate, she had decided their relationship wasn’t worth publicly announcing long before then.
As someone who had a lot of the same struggles in early adulthood as Sam, omg, bless him 😭 Sober living seems like it's still looming really large for him, which is expected! Re-learning to manage your life and nervous system is slow going; I'm still working on it into my 30s. I'm nervous for him and everything he's taking on, but I want them to make it 🤞🏼

I have a son with Autism. We went to therapy 4/5 days a week. He couldn't talk, but now he can. My son even has a typical job. It took a lot of work to get him to this point
I have permanent nerve damage from giving birth. My son was non verbal until he was almost 5. As an mother of an autistic child, it’s so hard to deal with. People judge you. Hard. If they see your kid having a meltdown and they assume it’s because your kids being a brat. Not because it’s so overwhelming for them. I’ve been raising my boy alone as his dad couldn’t handle it. I feel a little differently about Jasmine now.

I totally understand Anali about the mayo. I was working in a gas station and we had a hotdogs area. One day a customer bought a hotdog, devoured it in his car, and came back in for a drink. Well he had huge globs of mayo on his face and my stomach just could not handle it. I threw up. In my mouth and hand and ran to the bathroom.

He fully didn’t take the joke bc why in the world would he use that as a way to support a negative trait of hers that he perceived? There's no need to be angry at Anali -- I have a strong feeling, the way she looked at Clayton, that she specifically asked him not to bring that topic up in front of the cameras. There may be issues regarding her father that she needs to maneuver. Not all of us were blessed with wonderful parents. My child's consultant told me the chances of future children having the same neurological brain disorder were 1,000/1. Needless to say my next child turned out to have an even more severe same neurological disorder. Now two of my children will never lead independent lives and I will always be their caregivers. That's fine, I love my kids but it's double the hard work, so Jasmine 's fears are totally valid.

As an adult who is an late diagnosed autistic, The way neurodivergent children and people in general are treated is a lot worse in public. People will always say they have no problem with disabled people but then continue their biases & treat them horribly. Not just Jasmine but anyone having a child, needs to realize that your child might come out disabled, and if you're someone who dislikes disabled people, you are better off not having children at all. This world is very hateful to people like us and there are times where I struggle being around people who hate me.

I never really comment on videos but the part where Jasmine opens up about her son really got me. I'm not a mother myself, but an older sibling who helped to raise my two younger siblings who are both on the spectrum. My 5 year old sibling is still very young and hasn't had to face judgement from others thankfully, but my 15 year old brother has. He's the most sweet, happy loving kid and I really had to step up for him after our mom passed, something no kids should ever have to go through. It'd break my heart everytime he'd tell me how kids bullied him at school or how even a couple teachers were mean to him and I'd want more than anything to constantly be there protecting him, but sometimes you can't and they just need your love

I feel bad for Clayton. I find it very strange that Anali suddenly finds him so repulsive. Yes he’s weird and needs to work on his social skills, but he hasn’t really hid his personality from Anali. It’s less that a lot of things turn her off, nothing about the boy turns her on! It was a poor decision to get engaged so quickly, especially when they’re long distance and don’t spend lots of time together, but if in years of being engaged you still don’t know much about your fiancé and haven’t taken the lead to do so, then it is both of their faults. Even before Clayton gave her the ick she still refused to introduce him to her father for over a year. It’s not simply Clayton’s fault he’s being treated this way.
I agree. For some reason everyone has drug Clayton over the coals from the beginning. Clayton is the odd, bookish kid at school that people pick on.

He is too good for her. They say she was successful in Peru yet offers no help financially to get a larger apartment, I don’t see her as being successful at all except in using Clayton.

It’s easy to pick on Clayton for not being “cool” or”man” enough for Anali, when he is well above average compared to the rest of the men on this show. He speaks her language, and does put the effort into trips, dinners and hotels when she said she needed space. Anali by no means needs to have sex if she’s uncomfortable, but she avoids all physical contact. Most of the times Anali smiles at him she’s just making fun of him. Clayton is not perfect by far, and I can understand some of Anali’s frustrations, but who would ever see a picture of Clayton, have a conversation with Clayton, MEET Clayton, and then assume they were about to get married to some confident, macho, leader? He is who he is, and there was never a facade that she didn’t help create. Even if he can be blamed for not being fully honest about his mother, or not being a good roommate, she had decided their relationship wasn’t worth publicly announcing long before then.

As someone who had a lot of the same struggles in early adulthood as Sam, omg, bless him 😭 Sober living seems like it's still looming really large for him, which is expected! Re-learning to manage your life and nervous system is slow going; I'm still working on it into my 30s. I'm nervous for him and everything he's taking on, but I want them to make it 🤞🏼

I have permanent nerve damage from giving birth. My son was non verbal until he was almost 5. As an mother of an autistic child, it’s so hard to deal with.

I totally understand Anali about the mayo. I was working in a gas station and we had a hotdogs area. One day a customer bought a hotdog, devoured it in his car, and came back in for a drink. Well he had huge globs of mayo on his face and my stomach just could not handle it. I threw up. In my mouth and hand and ran to the bathroom.

Okay but when the mom asked “do you think i’m aggressive?” he said yes and proceeded to then use her joke as supporting evidence to WHY he believes she’s aggressive. He fully didn’t take the joke bc why in the world would he use that as a way to support a negative trait of hers that he perceived? It fully was a dig 😂plus he knows the mom wasn’t gonna vibe with that. She fully cracked an absurd joke… he didn’t.. When we crack silly jokes w people in our circle don’t come for traits that could generally be considered negative unless it’s surface level stuff - as a general rule of thumb no character traits should be the butt of the joke for someone you’re not close to. Plus Sophie can’t work in the United States.. Of course they’re not gonna discuss her contribution.

It's interesting to see the spending conversation about Manuel and Ashley. I'm American. My husband is Jamaican. We've both been through hardships. I'd rather be cautious and he sometimes wants to spend more because why not. Being homeless just 1 time was enough to scare me from buying new clothes with each paycheck

There's no need to be angry at Anali -- I have a strong feeling, the way she looked at Clayton, that she specifically asked him not to bring that topic up in front of the cameras. There may be issues regarding her father that she needs to maneuver. Not all of us were blessed with wonderful parents. Anali strikes me as a smart woman who is being very thoughtful about what she shares to the public.
She is extremely guarded, and it comes across as her being sneaky, evasive, and deceptive. If she didn't want her personal life broadcasted, she would not have agreed to be on this show.
