This is a really great series! For another video, I think it would be very interesting for you to do a comparison of Vnish vs Braiins and which is giving you the better hashrate and, more importantly, which gives you the best income from a pool. (e.g., hashrate reported at ASIC isn't necessarily hashrate at pool)
Would or have you done a video on underclocking the settings? Just wondering what settings would keep this quiet. Really helpful video. Just testing my s9 right now. Changed some settings and im very happy how quiet it got while still producing 7th/s. Subscribed and liked 🙏
This software is available and stable on an s9i as well? How does it deal with solo mining, say to ckpool for example? I understand it must be trying to take a percentage in the background but what about when solo mining, how does it take its percentage then?
Using one of Kaboomracks S9i with the APW3++ What is the max Wattage that this can take, I see it says 1600. Want to maximize the Wattage yet not risk any damage. Thank you, bro.
Hello, Looking to unclocked as much as possible. Just want to run some hashrate for fun with my S9. Is it safe to set power limit at 100 watts? Thats the min. If not what are some good base settings in brainos+ for underclock?
You will have to play around with it. The lowest I’ve heard about it around 400 watts. The theoretical max underclock is around 600 watts. What you will see if you clock it too low is that the chips won’t respond but nothing dangerous will happen. Personally I think the sweet spot is somewhere around 850 watts
Hey guys! Do you do S9 repairs? plus braiins because I already use slushpool.. 2 of mine have bad hashboards and ebay isn't really doing anything about it since it's been 6+ months since I purchased them, had them running the last 2 months
We don’t do repairs but we can sell you hash boards individually. If you want them repaired, there is a repair center called ASIC Master you can check out
85-90C at the high end. Theoretically if you really want to be nice to them, you could run them at around 70C. S9s are the AK47 of Bitcoin miners and can be run at all sorts of temps. We know people who run them at 100C.
I was running 8 used S9's in 2019 and one came with Brains OS. It was the best Firmware as far as performance and settings.

I agree that would be an awesome video. I will definitely get started on that

@@kaboomracks Thanks!
will braiins OS work on antminer S9 SE? (special edition? (16TH)
Is it possible to run the miner without a computer or laptops and only using a cellphone
Why hashrate constantly rising?
I tried to install Braiins and Vnish on my S9s but I keep getting 'Cannot find Signature'. What Gives?
Could be a bad control board. We sell them for $10 with Braiins preloaded if you want.
@@kaboomracks I need 3 to start. Send me a link. Thx.

Hi man, how can I underclock antminer s9?
have any video of it?

can braiins OS be used to mine Zcash? Im so confused why the slushpools show dead but bitcoin mines perect and active
It doesn’t look like Braiins supports any models that mine Zcash. You cannot mine Zcash with SHA-256 miners
@@kaboomracks thanks
MHz is not the size of a wave going through the chips. Hertz, or Hz is the amount of cycles per second.
What’s the profitability at 51 ph/s
I just got an S9 and I put mine @ 8.7V and 747Mhz with my APW3++ hehe
Can you elaborate more on board and chip temperatures.

@@kryptonic010 it’s definitely not healthy to run them that hot
I love the part where you tell us how to install it
