I’m a black girl who can’t do hair to save my life . I wear a lot of braids and weave but I want to dry this so bad . I love how you explain it my hair is just so dry and straight not curly one bit . Your so pretty I love how it came out . And your make up is simple but gorgeous.

I think you should see a dermatologist if possible if you have severe dryness. to introduce moisture try washing it every 3-5 days

After hearing you recommend applying the products in the shower a few months ago, I started doing it and it CHANGED the game.
To smooth my ends I use old school end papers.. closing the rods for tightness is still my challenge. Seeing you do seem simple. Thanks sis

I wish that the companies that make these would put some extra bands in the packages, because they do break sometimes.

So I hesitantly followed your routine. I even had my hubby run out and purchase the Camille Rose leave in, I already had the design essential foam. Let me tell you something my hair turned out AMAZING🎉🎉! My hair was super dry so I sprayed aloe juice on my hair right before I applied the leave in and the shower cap. I only had to rewet the parts of my hair that were uncovered by the plastic cap, it was a game changer, I may use the technique for my wash and go’s. I am not a rod expert and I usually shy from attempting this style. We will see how long it lasts. But thank you hun! You are an excellent teacher ❤
This was so well done! Fellow black girl who cannot create a cute style/do my hair well. I cut my hair years back and loved it but wanted that hangtime again before I loc it up. Going to try this asap!
This is great. I did my first perm rod set. I started my rods at the scalp vs. the ends so I know they won’t be that straight but I’m still excited none the less. I’ll try this method next week

I needed this. I tried to do perm rods for the first time in a long time last month. It wasn’t working for me so I gave up and used flexi rods instead. Maybe this series will convince me to give them another chance

To wash your hair after a rod set how do you do it like say the curls are still intact but your just over the style and want to wash it without damaging your hair in the process any tips? (Detangling and such)

Have you ever tried curl papers? It's been so many years since I "wet" set my hair but I used to use them to hold the ends down. They work really well. You might want to try them and see how you like them. But from what I see you're doing a wonderful job, your hair looks fantastic!

The details you gave about products was perfect the step by step rolling process I learned a lot how ever I have short hair so I wasn’t able to do that last twist at the top of the rolling process so if you have any tips on shorter hair that would be great 👍🏾 thanks I’m sooo glad I found your channel ❤

Mine use to be that way until I started doing 2 strand twisting about a inch down then apply the perm rod! Makes a huge difference!
