Besides pure craftsmanship, you have the pieces set up correctly. Must have a light colored square in the lower right hand corner. I’m still at the bird house and feeders level.
Thank you for saying that! I honestly had to google the pattern cause I don't play a lot of chess. As far as the level we're all at, if you want to make something, just go for it. As you can see from my channel, I tackle all kinds of projects, some turn out great and some are a big fail, but that's all part of the process. The most important part is to love what you're doing and that will make it toons easier.
Main thing I would change if I made this again is the depth. I made the board deep with the idea I could fit other game pieces inside, but it's way deeper than necessary.
The magnets are the icing on top. Nice board!
