10:45 ah but you see, those Zealots were about to start a mutiny, so in order to keep his forces disciplined he needed to send a message to the rest of the troops. Her0 doesn't tolerate mutineers.
Call me a noob, but I've been watching plenty of Dark games lately (he's seemingly as active in tournaments as Byun at the moment), and I just don't understand his openings. He likes to go low worker count in the early game, not even create a particularly huge army, then Drone up AND try to quickly tech at the same time in the mid-game. Why not just get that early worker lead early like most Zergs and then transition smoother and with far less risk if he's not going to try to capitalize on that early bigger army? I also don't understand the point of cutting workers for army if you're not even maxed out until late game anyway AND you're not being aggressive.
because protoss has to play at 100% effort at all times to stay competitive, zerg and terran can play at about 70% of their best until major tournaments
@@laureloneiros1500 that s a bit of an exaggeration: byun or maru or serral have insane levels of skill, and they use itcall the time. I feel like the actual problem is that protoss can get punished too heavily for making mistakes, while zerg and terran have a bit more margin to recover. Still, the reason hero lost to oliveira that time was because of his playstyle: high risk, high reward offense, but if the opponent manages to time a proper counter attack you are in trouble. He is the Jack Dempsey of starcraft.
Some players are better online than offline tournaments. Maru seems to only be comfortable offline when it comes to GSL. Byun's wrist problems are far worse offline too. As for Hero, he's just inconsistent.
I don't get it. In Game 3, instead of letting drones fall to adepts, why not just turn them into spine crawlers? Aren't spine crawlers amazing against adepts? Even after the immortal popped, Dark would have had at least 3 spine crawlers by then.
when they first start building they have very little hit points and can get killed very easily. Better to just run the drones away to a different base usually
@@PiGCasts Right, but his plan was doomed from the start. I don't know why he was focused on mining there instead of building spine crawlers. I did not mean wait until they were under attack by adepts. I meant, turned them into spines as they popped from the egg. I think you yourself in the cast said he should have used the forward base to push spines and just win. I think if he had just built spines (the Zerg version of the cannon rush) there is very little adepts could have done about it. That was a build order loss for Hero, except Dark let him off the hook.
watching hero , as a protoss main, frustrates the ever living fuck out of me. often watching the carelessness , while being one of the best. ill not say im anywhere near his skill level. I will say that i dont want to emulate his style.

"meanwhile dark is drunk"
gold.
45:12 I kinda always thought oracles were light mechanical units but it turns out they are actually armoured mechanical & psionic folks 😁🐲
Think there was an F2 + storm = dead observers right at the end. Happy to see that even the best pros have panic moments like that.
This is especially common with Hero, whose sub-bar mechanics have cost him plenty of games, and which he seemingly refuses to fix.
All commands are cancel if the players leaves.
Thanks for the high level content! :)
Why doesn't your Dark get more views on you Pig? Lol. Dark's the most entertaining Sc2 player in the world, only player I actively search for
These two are such sewer rats I love it
"It's bath time" lol
Dark's play is one great enigma
Beautiful mutas
Can't believe protoss defends só easily an unscouted all in in 3rd game. The opposite would never happen
Semi finals so salty sweet.
Alhamdulilla dark will deliver

Finally hero beat dark...
PiG you really need to normalize your audio. Sound in general is great but when you get exited my speakers break and everyone in the house wake up.
Oh, Hero. Why can you do it online but not in GSL?
Because he is a toss player. He can t win without being connected to the Khala.
He didn't believe
