Serral is just a monster. Trading equal against mass thors with just roach ravager. Being able to bully gumiho having equal base and less workers.

literally no scvs and terran printing money like the federal reserve (mules) and win. It's funny.
@@Mizi63 Serral was dead. He had no fighting units, his Pool was delayed to the stone ages, and Gumiho was dropping in 3-4 locations at once and pumping out 5 3/3 Marines per cycle. You saw the end supply there: they were equal, and Serral's was all in drones... Sometimes it's better just to give it up and start the next game refreshed rather than spend the energy.
@GoombaPants I don't know. Gumiho only had 2 SCVs. He was also dead. If it was for a base trade, maybe Serral would have had time for a recovery. I guess Serral lost his stamina, but if he had persisted, I believe he could have still won.

Byun wrists are so bad and he always in pain and cant play, he should stop.
@@JackStormo Byun said in his interview that he stopped seeking treatment once the doctors told him there is no apparent damage to his wrist. Often times he seemingly suffers from wrist pain during weekend/speedy offline tournaments where he overuses his wrist and he probably has low pain tolerance
Saw this live and these games were alright. Watching you cast the same games makes them so much better. I dont think their observer can keep up with the action.
At least I saw Reynor taking down Serral once recently, that was fun, he is probably the only human that can do it when Serral is at his peak.
Except from that, the GOAT has another dominating year comparable to his 2018 of total annihilation. He is getting ready for his 3rd title.

If we mean absolute 100% peak performance, I'd say Rogue and Maru can challenge him. Both have before. Unfortunately, Rogue is gone for another year, and then might take awhile to get back in form. Maru has been fire lately.... I'd love to see a Serral vs Maru series at Gamers8.

ive been ruined by neural so many times. i hate that spell as much as i hate storm. so i wont play mech against zerg and wont play bio against toss. therefore this is probably why i suck and stuck in plat lmao. great series!

Ah the 3 battlecruisers waited so long to teleport in, and when they did they just helped zerg clean up the ground mech. Think he should have just teleported them into separate undefended mining bases.
Agreed on diving the economy! Talking to the other pros after this match they said he shouldn't have even bothered with the BC swap and just stuck with the hellbat drops and thor/tank army

Gumiho did well, however, he knows nothing but aggression. He isn't as well rounded as he could be. As has happened in the past some of these hyper aggressive players have a good run, but in the end they struggle. If he could round out just a bit of that aggression to know when to turtle he could be a lot better.
1:20:59 I don't think we've actually seen Serral stressed to the edge of his limits. (weird I know..........just an opinion)

I don't really understand why GG game 2 as Serral.
Because he couldn't produce units and had almost no combat unities. His spawning pool was gone. He could build another but he was losing all his hatcheries in the meantime.
I know Serral doesn't win them all, but Jesus Christ, he must be collecting tournament trophies like many do trading cards.

This is why I started to get somewhat bored by starcraft. I like Gumiho, this guy has always been very creative, making very interesting and clever stuff, but in the end it always comes to micro, macro, multitasking speed and consistency, no matter how clever and interesting strategy you create.
I wish there was an option for NA to buy Serral so we can get a few trophies. Finland won't miss him that much.

I can't watch the late-games. Too predictable; terran always gets swarmed and beaten.
