These are oriental style dumplings, in the USA what we call dumplings are totally different but equally delicious. The dumplings they have we call pot stickers.they are the same but we brown the bottom slightly. The American style are a wheat dough that has leavening in it. Depending upon where you live in the USA you will make sinkers the dough is flattened and cut into squares cooked in boiling chicken broth, the other type are called floaters, you drop spoonfuls of dough into boiling chicken broth. Both methods require 20 minutes of cooking time with a lid on top. Both of these are called chicken and dumplings. The chicken is put back into the broth after it's taken off the bones peas and carrots are added I like thicker broth so I add a slurry of cornstarch to the pan after I cook the dumplings as they will thicken the broth some, if the broth seems thin .

Pan fried might be enjoyable since it's more like theirs.
For a future video how about having each one bring his favorite food or street food to show us?
When five dumbbells are joined they are called dumblings. This joke made my morning! Well done doctor sir. You are a funny man.
I love these videos. Anyone else get anyone by how the doctor always acts like such a know it all? He literally has an opinion for everything, and if he doesn’t know he makes something up on the spot.
I've never really liked dumplings but I'm glad they enjoyed it.
😱 Find a good Chinese place asap, you should try them 😄
Is Catsup (ketchup) the only condiment besides mint sauce that you have? Let us all know and I'm sure we can send you a collection of other favors.
I am so interested in their reactions & especially when they are trying something that I have enjoyed. And this is one of my favorites, how blessed we are to have access to other cultures foods.
They're actually called potstickers, and yes, you CAN fry them in oil, and they taste better that way. I do it all the time. They're really good by themselves, no need for sauce. It isn't American food, it's Chinese food.
Excellent video, thanks for sharing this.👍
I just made pork shrimp dumplings last night 🐖🍤 🥟🥟🥟🥟 It was so easy, they have lots of videos on you tube. If you've never made these, but like to cook you should definitely give them a try! Super moist and flavorful with a soft filling
