I’m sure most already know this but if you take his horse from his barn after you’ve recovered the debt, you get some more dialog from Wrobel.
The scout jacket says its available from chapter 2 - 4, but its only possible to get the quest in chapter 2. When it says 2 - 4 that just means you can donate the rabbit in chapter 3 and 4 to get the jacket once you already have the quest
The antique watch unfortunately is identical to the one you find when robbing a train and the one you buy in a store. Hoped it would have a unique design

When collecting the debt at Painted Sky dont forget to loot the Stable theres a rather nice horse there you can loot ;).

Pearson's Jacket is triggered at 10:45 AM while he's standing there behind the pot and whistling "Ole Susanna". There are times he will be there at that time whistling a different song and it will not trigger.
He wasn't whistling anything when I triggered it. You just have to get your cores down and talk to him at that table.

But he wasn't whistling, nor did he have a bottle in his hand, when I approached the table.
He was simply chopping, and I triggered the cutscene.
It doesn't matter what he's doing at the table; it only matters that he's _at_ the table.

the only way you can get the pen is by saving Jimmy Brooks, went to his corpse after kicking him off the cliff: nothing, just random loot.

She’s usually my main horse through the game and get a little more dialog from Wrobel.
Oh wow, was that Uncle that mentioned the Philippines? I've never heard that voice line before. It caught me so off guard! I wonder how I could listen to that one in the game. It's probably just random.
Used Worbels Hungarian Halfbred for a ton of missions before selling him at the stable highly recommend 👍
For the Scout Jacket quest you have to wait until Kieran is no longer tied to the tree before Pearson will start to give the quest.
Actually, you can do it before the Kieran mission appears, or after you finish it
@@toastychan0001 That's what I thought too, but he would never give the quest until after the kieran mission. I waited IRL days.
@@SomeCanineMy Arthur is currently wearing it and Kieran is still tied to the tree, it can be such a ball ache getting the quest to trigger it's actually unreal
@@robinjae Not calling you a liar. I'm just saying that I tried it for literally days in real life. I tried fast traveling away. I tried re-loading saves. I tried waiting in camp for in game days. I tried going out and hunting only to come back. Nothing worked until I got Kieran off that tree. Then pearsen immediately gave me the quest minutes later.
@@SomeCanine What I've recently learnt from a lot of trial and error, and this is guaranteed I promise you - triggering the Pearson jacket request SOLELY depends on if someone else has a request waiting for you to accept, not on cores or weight or what missions you've completed. As soon as I did Dutch's Pipe, Mary-Beth's Pen, and Susan's Herbs (while Javier, Charles and Bill were still in Valentine), Pearson's request was the ONLY one that could trigger. I promise you the only issue with this quest is that someone else needs something and their availability to trigger their quests is around 2 hours earlier than Pearson's, that's why they're ready first and you can't accept his until you accept theirs.
This sounds a lot more aggressive than I mean for it to but I swear I'm just trying to get across how misconstrued this request trigger is, it is SOLELY dependant on if it's the only request that CAN be accepted at that time, I swear. If you're unsure if anyone else has a request waiting, make sure you speak to everyone a couple of times between 8am-10am.
I'm assuming the guy coughing is the one who infects rather with tuberculosis. If we don't interact with him in any way, cld we possibly save arthur?

Dutch gives you unique missable spurs if you give him a a Pipe.

As much as I love arthur and feel like he's my favourite protagonist ever he sorta had his death coming to him due simply to the way he handled business with the German man and Mr Downes...
He tried to redeem himself and that's why we love him but no he didn't have enough time to reright a lifetime of crime
Welp, I wish I had known this before.
One thing that helped me get the trigger for the scout jacket was taking all the food in camp and not donating till the food icon was red and that seemed to do the trick
I did it with camp stores golden.
Its _your_ cores that matter. Drain your cores and talk to him when he's working at that table.
No need to drain cores really. I just woke up at 6 am, waited until 10 am then saved it. Waited until pearson got behind that small table, whistling, bottle in hand, then talked to to him. That's all. Took 2 tries for me so make use of reloading the save if he doesnt go there.
There are tutorials that help trigger. ie jumping of a cliff in camp at a certain time
I robbed wrobel before the mission. Couldnt collect his debt as a result.
for the debt collecting mission if you barge into the the rear door you scare him and he knocks the chair over...
Is there any need for Rockstar to put these details in the game?
You also don't need to complete the mission to get the watch, reload the autosave.

Hello! I'm looking for these damn 3 star hares, where can I find them and is a 22 caliber rifle suitable for hunting them? I tried and in the end it took 2 shots, maybe I'm bad at eliminating moving targets
You can find them everywhere. Use Varmint rifle or arrows for perfect pelts
Shot them on head for 1 shot kill, if you have trouble killing moving targets use deadeye and then mark on head then kill
If you shoot quick and not waste time aiming I find you always get a 3 star pelt with the varmint rifle. Sometimes arrows can make you lose a 3 star pelt on my game play that is.

@@danceswithcritters Most Unique Items don't have a use other than to be sold. Some can be used in crafting though. Items needed for Requests will not be able to be sold.

I have tried a million times for Pearson but it doesn't happen
For what it's worth, everyone seems to have their own hints as to how to get it to trigger. I tried for ages using all the tips (low cores, not wearing a jacket, reloading, running out of camp and back in, not looking at Pearson, jumping off the cliff etc). What got it to finally spawn for me was not my levels, but the camp levels. I always try and keep all yellow supplies at camp and as soon as one even goes white, I resupply. So when I read that its linked to camp supplies I thought I would give it a try. I went round looting everything in camp (ammo, medicine, candies, tins of food etc) until the supplies dropped to white. I then triggered straight away, I was shocked. I think this is why so many people say it only triggers early in Chapter 2 (because you haven't had chance to upgrade and get supplies yellow). For info, it worked for me very late in Chapter 2 with low camp supplies.
I kept doing the save game at 10am in camp with low cores, load it and go for the high cliff that is kinda behind Pearsons wagon and fall and die. Spawn a little ways outside of camp, supposedly when you get back to camp Pearson is suppose to be whistling behind his prep table but wasn’t. After getting back to camp, and dismounted my horse, I stayed right there in horse area where I could see Pearson (used binoculars) as usual he wasn’t where he was suppose to be. I stayed there watching him through the binocs and after maybe a min he moved into the position by his prep table with a drink and whistling. It took me alot of tries before I decided to stay in the horse pen area and just watch but when I finally did it happened pretty quickly. Hope this made sense, probably didn’t but 🤷🏽♂️🤣

Hosea actually has the thimble if you loot him after his death.
I would imagine redsdeadbaby only got one of the npcs that randomly have it, you did learn that there .
