Phew, I was just looking at getting an x2! I dropped the nm on mine because of the range I was getting but tried identical back to back loops in auto one set to 90nm and the other at 105nm and I obviously did the loop quicker using 105nm but also used a few less percent than the 90nm run🤷🏼♂️ I think auto is the best range wise for me in the current cold UK weather. Hope the range improves as it gets warmer🤞🏻 although the fast charging is brilliant👍🏻
@@RobHill00 yeah it's hard to guess what the range is going to be like but I'm getting the same range on mine as I would in the summer with my kenevo so I think it will be epic 🤣
I had the same issue with my Orbea rise size small. The oring had about 2mm of travel left before the can hit the frame. Fox have solid spacers in 2.5mm increments. I used 2 spacers which did reduce my travel by 5mm but I was fine with that. Now I can run the shock and even the hardest hits the solid spacers won’t allow the shock to bottom out.
@@markskielliott5962 I'm not that bothered about the shock to be honest. Just got it cheap and thought I'd give it a go. Will get something smaller for it. ,👍
@@dangrant7537 yeah I had to update the app too. Then unpair and repair to set the region to UK. There's quite a difference in the app too eco goes higher and trail is broader.
Thanks for that, I live in South Australia, the first bikes only arrived in the Eastern States in December, we are looking at Feb/March delivery, watch all the changes and updates that you do to the bike.
So many people moaning on the EMBN review comments about how this bike is untested in UK winter conditions and won’t buy one until it is! Looks like you’re doing that right now, how is it holding up to the winter slop?
So the region is still set to 30mph after the update?? I am going looking at a Amflow tomorrow, the 15 mph is to slow should be 20mph at least, i have a Trek rail at the min. cheers for the video.
Iain can I ask: how many years did it take you to learn jumping to a half decent level. I've done MTB most of my life, now in my 40s but never did jumps (as trails near me didn't have them and bike parks were rare in the early days). Watching some of your vids I regret not having learnt.
@@Ruffest damn dude the trails you hit look advanced, I clearly need to step my game up! Thanks! Is there a name for those windy trails/descents off Lady Bower?
Despite the issues I’m still so tempted. I need an e-bike for winter I think 😊

Hi Iain, I’m yet to update mine until I’ve seen what changes it makes, can you give an update when possible?

That shock is overkill for a trail bike anyway. Not sure why owners are trying to make a trail bike a downhill bike with big shocks
