What Mike said at the end of the Local Hour was spot on. There's so much research out there that shows that when people of a certain perspective are shown conflicting evidence to their opinion, they just dig in harder and don't believe it. Their minds aren't changed, nor do they take the time to self-reflect on the legitimacy of their opinion. The internet allowing people to find "information" that continuously validates what they want to see and hear has made it almost impossible to have rational and earnest conversation about serious topics, let alone stuff that best belongs in the conspiracy theory category.

The stubbornness in our discourse is truly concerning. I mean, Mike Ryan didn't even consider the counter argument to his Tua fumble analysis for more than half a second before he dismissed it. The fact that Mike consistently convinces himself that he has some sort of special knowledge about quarterbacking that he is compelled inform us about is very alarming.
Jeremy's assertion that people on 'one side' (his side) are speaking 'facts,' while those on the 'other side' are speaking 'falsehoods,' says a lot.
They cannot fathom the bubble theyre in. Because even if they were to admit something along those lines, it would immediately be hit with "well not as bad as MAGA"

I don't believe in a lot of the stuff going around, but this show is conflating red pill and conspiracy. You can believe in one thing and not another. That's part of the argument that's constantly being presented against you guys. You guys seem to all agree on all the same things which leads to the echo chamber accusations. If anyone disagrees with one issue, it seems you guys believe they must now be red-pilled and believe in any conspiracies that you see on TikTok and Twitter. Tony’s demeanor during these type of conversations are always telling. I just know he comes from a right wing Cuban background 😂. I’ve voted democrat all my life. I may not vote at all this year because at this moment I just can’t bring myself to vote republican . The problem with this show is that it’s literally an echo chamber. I’m not asking for a right wing presence on the show and certainly not from Tony, StuGotz sometimes gives me right wing vibes but this is where I think someone like Amin is needed on the main show. Amin is liberal but not emotional. His takes are sensible and logical. This company needs a middle ground presence.
