Congratulations. I am so impressed by all the nurses pursuing higher degrees and sharing their insights. It is inspiring me to go back to school for my MSN at 48. It is time for us Nurses to obtain a National Union with a pension plan and safe staffing ratios. Thank you for the breakdown and God bless.
Thank you very much for giving this information to us for free. I was about to buy an ebook and here is the information for free. Thank you, May God continually bless your journey.
Thank you for the insight, and congrats on your accomplishments. I am working on a BS in psychology right now, trying to decide if a flex plan will help me. This video was helpful, thank you again.
Hi Dr. Bri I am currently in the DNP Flex Path program at Capella. I am waiting for my preceptor/site to get confirmed. Do you remember how long that took for you?
@@mtimm001 yes, in the beginning of the program, but once you start your charter, you can only take one class at a time. This is because the classes build on each other
I'm currently taking my pre reqs for the ADN program at my local community college. I plan to attend Capella for my BSN but I wanted to know if they offer a BSN to DNP bridge. I tried to look it up on their website but it appears to be glitched out so I can't click any of the links and google is no help lol.
thank you for doing his video. wonder if you know this info. but what if you work for yourself as a np and are doing the dnp with capella. do you have to go to a clinical site for clinical? or do you just find a dnp prepared nurse who works elsewhere who is willing to precept? how did you find your preceptor? i know they have paid preceptors that will precept in person for msn but wondering if this is something for dnp too
Your welcome and great questions. You just have to have someone with a masters (they don’t have to be in healthcare) or higher to oversee your clinical. My preceptor was at a local clinic. You can call around places or join Facebook groups to find a preceptor
Congrats! I was thinking of taking the DBA program at Capella. Would you be able to advise on how many assignments you typically had per course (core or specialization course)? I see that your program had 8 core courses and 5 specialization for the DNP. This is mapped the same way for the DBA. Thanks!
Thank you, it depends on the course. Some classes had 5 assignments and other classes had 7. When you start working on your project, there are more assignments
Hi, did you have to fly to Minnesota to attend graduation, or you lived there already? I'm asking because others on YT only mentioned a diploma was mailed to them.
Do you feel that people, employers, and peers respect your degree from Capella? My BSN is from Capella. I am interested in the MSN and MBA. I am looking at other schools besides Capella, but I am curious about your experience.
@@heydoctorbri sorry to bother you..how many classes before project work are there and how many assignments per class....thanks because I did a semester at aspen U and it's 8 weeks per class and a dis union and assignment per week

That’s so wonderful that she has her dnp so young 🌸
Thank you. 💞
Hi can you do a video about your interview process for you first DNP job, first day working independently, and how many clients you see in a day
Thank you for the insight, and congrats on your accomplishments. I am working on a BS in psychology right now, trying to decide if a flex plan will help me. This video was helpful, thank you again.
Did you obtain your MSN from Capella as well? If yes, how long did it take you to obtain your MSN?
@a.newberg4920 no, I went to Anderson University for my MSN with a concentration in family nurse practitioner
How long did Anderson University’s MSN-NP program take to complete? Thanks.
Congrats . I plan on doing this because I don’t want to be in a University forever lol . I’m already 25
Thank you! 💖
I’m so happy I found your channel.
Hi Dr. Bri I am currently in the DNP Flex Path program at Capella. I am waiting for my preceptor/site to get confirmed. Do you remember how long that took for you?
Hi! Did you finish and if so was your cost similar to Dr. Bri’s? I’m thinking about enrolling in the Flex Path at Cappella.
Awesome!! Congratulations!
Thank you 💖
This is a great video, u definitely got great project.. ACT I love 💕 this u need to TM and help others
So awesome congrats!!!
Where did you get your NP from before you went back to Capella
9 months from BSN to DNP? Just want to clarify! thanks and wow well done!
Must be MSN to DNP?
It sounds like she was a FNP already.
Hi..
Super proud of you...
Was thst 11,000 total cost?
Or just your portion that aid didn't cover ?
Thank you and yes the total cost
And are there any 2 particular classes that can be taken together? To be done in 12 months..?

Thanks for the info. Where did you go to NP school? I know that Capella doesn’t have an NP program unlit October 2023
Congratulations! Thank you.
Thank you ❤️

What DNP concentrations does Cappella have?
Is your FNP based on your masters degree? I’m confused as Capella’s DNP degree isn’t designed for FNP.
Is the School of Nursing for that university accredited regionally or nationally?
Hi it’s regionally accredited
Thank you!@@coca1492
@@coca1492the university itself is regionally accredited, but the website says the nursing program itself is nationally accredited.

Hi Dr. Bri, What are the requirements for entry into the DNP program?
Hi, did you have to fly to Minnesota to attend graduation, or you lived there already? I'm asking because others on YT only mentioned a diploma was mailed to them.
Hi, Capella had a graduation ceremony in Orlando.
Thanks again!!!
❤️ your welcome
How long did the program take you total?
Did u work full time during your project?
Do you feel that people, employers, and peers respect your degree from Capella? My BSN is from Capella. I am interested in the MSN and MBA. I am looking at other schools besides Capella, but I am curious about your experience.
Yes, because the degree is from a nationally accredited school.
Thanks for the insight.
@a.newberg4920 you are welcome. Good luck on your journey! 💛
Since you already got your BSN from Capella, do you think people especially employers respect your degree? Thinking of the best choice
Is it a certain amount for a year ?
Hello how are you how long is your program
Hello dr. Bri🥰Is it possible for me to qualify for a dnp program if I have earned my bsn abroad,
That’s a great question. I would contact a Capella advisor, they can help you out ❤️
Congratulations 🫶🏽🙏🏽🤍☺️
Thank you 🩷
Hi 👏 congrats I am thinking of doing my DNP..outside of the project was it easy to complete
Thank you, and it’s not an easy program, the format and information takes some time to get use to it. But after a couple of classes it gets better 💜
How many classes is it in totality
