Glass Orb CO2 Drop Checker
I spent the morning at the company that is making my spray bar and lily pipe designs finalising some last minute changes to the prototypes.
Whilst i was there i had them make up another prototype for me and managed to film some of the making.
John the guy who has been tasked with making the aquatic glassware has over 40 years experience in blowing glass and has loved the challenge of working with my very rough designs.
The Glass Orb CO2 Prototype came out fantastic and fingers crossed these will go into production very soon.
If you have any design ideas you would like to see in production then please feel free to contact me and i will see about getting some prototypes made.
All the glassware is hand made in the UK and not imported from places like china. We need to support our local businesses especially with this dying art. I am pleased to say that the company i use have taken on apprentices so hopefully in a few years to come they will help carry on the fantastic art of glass blowing.
In the last video i asked you "what two types of shrimp were in the tank?"
The answer was crystal reds and tiger shrimp

its actually quite easy to clean all you need to do is put salt or bleach inside and shake it around, you can then use a small cloth threaded in the small opening to suck up any water when you have washed it out. Its the same method i use for my other drop checker

I run a simply DIY co2 in my planted 30 gallon. I run it through an air stone and run the O2 at night. Can you please explain the use and reason or benefits of having the Co2 Drop Checker? Thanks
