How large would the Alaskan Bull Worm be if less than half (50%) of it crushed the entire city beneath it? We know that Bikini Bottom has a count of approximately 538 residents while many other episodes tend to portray it as much larger. Let's say 5 residents live in 1 home okay? That's 108 homes. If the city was set up like a square the equation for it would look close to 11 homes X 11 homes for it to have only homes. let's bump that up for simplicity sake to 12X12 to make up for everything else inside of a city. Each of these homes should be at least 2 feet in length. so 24 feet X 24 feet. That averages out to 576 FT or roughly 176 meters. So the Alaskan Bull Worm is larger than this tiny city that is only 176 meters in length and the Bull Worm completely crushed it underneath. I think your estimate on it being a meter long is a bit off mate :P Might even compare to the biggest monsters in any lore out there tbh considering it's at least over 200 meters lengthwise.

Behemoth ('Incredibly Tall Creature') from The Mist seems like several times underestimated in size here. The whole idea (at least in the book) was that after seeing this creature, entire hope of humans is gone, it's size implicates that there is no way to fight with it, it is obvious that is just took over the planet.

I have to say well done to include so many monsters. Pretty smooth camera movement and I like how you rotate the text as you pass by. Some minor points: Hellboy is 6'11" or 2.1 m. Sulley looks sad. Attack on Titan's Colossal Titan looks like an action figure. Do you intend to post an updated version? It would seem like you can keep posting new updates as requests/updates come in and you refine the designs. Seeing as you included heroic monsters, you could also include Falcor, Chewbacca, Hulk, and Beetlejuice. It would be crazy if you expanded beyond movies into televised shows.

I dig all these size comparison videos. Thank you for making them. I have a question on THIS one, though, with respect... were things a little bit looser in the scales here? By that I mean, were the monster models quantitatively accurate, or were they just representative? Or are my eyes playing tricks?
I mean, the filmmakers knew they were gonna have him fight godzilla when makign skull island, so they set film in 70s for reason, and clearly said in that film he wasn't even adolescent, his canonical age in that film is 14. So its not like they retconned his size
@@serpentine8124 Yeah, still seems like a bit of a stretch. He's 104 ft in Kong Island. Godzilla is 400 ft. And he's just shy of Godzilla in the new one. That means he grew almost 4x his size. That'd be like you being 4.5 ft tall at 14 years old and growing to 18 ft at 65 years old.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters was released in 2019 and the the year was 2019 in the film, so Godzilla vs King Kong should technically be the year 2021 in the film which means King Kong would have grown to a height slightly shorter than Godzilla

I have to say well done to include so many monsters. Pretty smooth camera movement and I like how you rotate the text as you pass by. Some minor points: Hellboy is 6'11" or 2.1 m. Sulley looks sad. Attack on Titan's Colossal Titan looks like an action figure. Do you intend to post an updated version? It would seem like you can keep posting new updates as requests/updates come in and you refine the designs. Seeing as you included heroic monsters, you could also include Falcor, Chewbacca, Hulk, and Beetlejuice. It would be crazy if you expanded beyond movies into televised shows.

I dig all these size comparison videos. Thank you for making them. I have a question on THIS one, though, with respect... were things a little bit looser in the scales here? By that I mean, were the monster models quantitatively accurate, or were they just representative? Or are my eyes playing tricks?
This needs to be updated since Kong used plot fuel to grow more than 3x his size in the new movie.
I mean, the filmmakers knew they were gonna have him fight godzilla when makign skull island, so they set film in 70s for reason, and clearly said in that film he wasn't even adolescent, his canonical age in that film is 14. So its not like they retconned his size
@@serpentine8124 Yeah, still seems like a bit of a stretch. He's 104 ft in Kong Island. Godzilla is 400 ft. And he's just shy of Godzilla in the new one. That means he grew almost 4x his size. That'd be like you being 4.5 ft tall at 14 years old and growing to 18 ft at 65 years old.
@@bmjake I get that, just wanted to point out it seems like they had planned on him being bigger when he fights godzillia, given choice of timelines and drawing attention to his age. As for unrealistic, if he'd been full grown at time sure, but personally I don't really mind it, it's definitively not enough to break my suspension of disbelief when watching these films, although I totally get it bothering people. I guess my rationale is that his species is clearly different in how they grow to other species of apes, so if they grow at expectational rate it would still make sense to me.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters was released in 2019 and the the year was 2019 in the film, so Godzilla vs King Kong should technically be the year 2021 in the film which means King Kong would have grown to a height slightly shorter than Godzilla

Quite the opposite, you forget Victor was trying to resurrect his brother, so his name was also Frankenstein.
Even if that was his goal, Victor knows he didn't succeed, and in fact he is straight up terrified of what he makes. It's like if I tried to resurrect my cat and made a platypus that acted nothing like my cat. Also I'm not even sure if his goal was to resurrect his brother in the first place. Like... In 'into the woods' that's totally what he's trying to do, but in Shelly's novel I don't seem to recall his motives (outside of wanting to feel like a god).
